Stayed July 6-10; site 93. Great stay and no issues. Site was good and level, and facilities were fine. Have stayed here before and will stay here again.

We ended our week long UP vacation here and just loved everything about it! The convenience of the shuttle to Mackinac City, the friendliness of every employee and the cleanliness of the campground were outstanding! We will definitely be back!

This was the nicest KOA we have ever visited. So clean and pretty. The staff really showed attention to every detail. Friendly and there when you need them. We will definitely visit again!

Nice chill campground. Staff lovely. Great location for trip to island. Can easily travel into city by bike or by foot using their nature trail connection to the bike trail. Can walk to local kennel. Took 1 star off because sites are a bit small, but the trees and shade help.

The staff was wonderful. Very accommodating. Helped us get into our spot and pointed out some need to know things to think about. Very quick to respond to requests. We will definitely be back!!

Everyone there were very friendly and helpful. I liked the text reminders, for the heads up for the closing of the store. Garbage pickup was a nice perk. Definitely will stay there again. Full hook up pull through Lot was nicely setup.

Love the bike trail to the city. So easy to ride it down to the ferry and jump on with your bike to enjoy the island. Nice quiet campground.

It was very good. We were in a very shady spot so we could not use our satellite dish. Be sure to request a satellite-friendly site. They also have a couple of sites with patio, grill and table and chairs for a few dollars more. They don’t offer so you need to ask. In inclement weather it would be great to have that site because otherwise you are on dirt. The owners are very accommodating.

One of the best campgrounds I have ever stayed at. Very well organized and run. Very clean. I would stay here again on my next trip to the area without hesitation.

Communication with the office was excellent. We were often operating outside of their set hours but found texting worked well. Staff was Friendly and helpful. Shuttles were on time. Did not use the park much as we spent our time exploring the area. Truly a beautiful place to visit.

We had a very nice stay, even though it rained most of the time we were there! You can tell that the people truly care about this campground and go above and beyond to make your stay wonderful! Loved the evening text messages reminding us of closing time and asking us if we needed anything before the store closed. Will definitely recommend to friends and family and we will be back again!

The campground was great but our site was so unlevel. We were very disappointed that most of the gravel in the spot was washed away and left huge ruts. The camp store and check in was very clean just unfortunate that the site was in such bad shape that it made our experience less than desirable..

We had a great stay! The facilities were clean and in good working order. Our camp spot was wooded with plenty of space between us and the next site. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was the pool could've been a bit warmer. 5 star stay for sure, thank you!

We have been here since 06/20 and keep extending our stay. We will be coming back. KOA people are nice and helpful. Everything is clean. Level sites and trees for shade. I liked the patio site 99 we hadn’t stayed anywhere with those sites.

Loved our stay at the Mackinaw City KOA. Location was very convenient to everything while also being in a quiet, relaxing area. Very friendly staff. Clean bathhouse and overall site. Free shuttle to the ferry. Definitely a 5 star stay.

The only negative experience is people with dog kennels set up and a camper setting up at 1am one night making a lot of noise.

I liked the stay enough that I booked a site for next year. My only concern was that the fire pits are rather deep and being someone with some physical limitations, it was difficult for me to get the fire built. The staff was great and very friendly.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Everything was nice and clean. The staff was very pleasant and we loved how close we were to shopping, entertainment and the Mackinac bridge. We would definitely stay again!!

We stayed in site #9 .. it was good site, better for tents. The only thing to change differently would be to set the fire pit back a little. When we first got there, we were worried it would catch our awning on fire. If not able to do that, maybe a smaller camper or tent on this site. I personally would have liked to be behind the office a little more with larger trailers.

The campground was nice and the showers and bathrooms were always clean. I don't recommend campsite number 1-5 though, the road is directly behind them and it's VERY loud especially at night when your trying to sleep we had a little one and it made us nervous. Otherwise the rest of the campground was very nice. We would be back to stay at a different site number.

Very nice campground, everyone was super friendly and helpful. Very close to the docks to go to the island. Even though our site did not have cable, the wifi was so great that we were able to watch Hulu, Netflix and Prime on our tablet with no streaming issues. Great experience!!!

We liked the grounds themselves but we didn’t like our site. I think we may have gotten one of the worst ones when we were told it was the best. It was a last minute reservation so I understand that part but there was no grass and only rocks which is not fun with dogs.

The owner was not friendly- family and I went out to dinner. When we returned, the owner, Kathy, began yelling at my husband while waving her arms, stating that my dog had been barking so much that several people have been complaining and threatening to leave- mind you this was Wednesday night- our 1st night. We stayed for 3 more days w/o difficulty/other notifications. Maybe she was confused.

We love this camp ground, shaded nice lots even for big coach's, peaceful. Really enjoyed the sounds of the boats on Lake Michigan. The Owners were are always working hard to please their guests, will definitely be back!

Smaller trailers are put along the road and next to the tents- least desirable area. We had drunken, very noisy tent neighbors with their kids running through my campsite. The staff offered to move us after we complained. Staff were friendly, bathroom and showers clean.

Very nice RV park! It was just a one night stay on our trip to the U.P. we'll be back in next summer.

This campground was great to stay in after our day on Mackinac Island. We arrived right before the office closed at 6pm on Saturday and were able to get firewood and checked in. You can't get firewood after 6 as far as I know so if you need firewood and will get there after hours, get some on the way in. The campground was clean, the staff were incredibly friendly, and we had a great time staying in our Kamping Kabin with our two dogs.

This is the nicest KOA we've camped at. The sites are spaced apart with maple trees between each site. Beautiful for Fall camping. The facilities get A+ on cleanliness, on enough showers, and on hot water in the showers! The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They have outdoor games for kids, bikes for rent, the bike trail runs close to the park, and they have a free shuttle to the ferry. We will definitely camp here again if we are in the area.
