We came up for the motorcycle rally. We really enjoyed ourselves at the campground. Everyone was so friendly. We hope to go back next year!

Very happy we chose this campground. Owners and staff are top notch, even with a full campground the facilities remained in great condition. Problems in the campground were handled very quickly and fairly. Sites were kept up to a high standard. We will certainly look forward to returning for another stay. I urge any camper who likes a family friendly and properly run campground to stay here.

Staff was friendly and campground was clean. My only real complaint was the size of the lots and fire pits. Was not room for children to do much of anything on the site itself. Kids did love the pool and playground area and since the main reason for our stay was to go to the island (did not hang out at the campground all day long) the value was great for our intended use.

This is a great gem of a campground. The staff and family that run this place are top notch. The campground is immaculate and clean. The sites are spaced adequately. The store and bathrooms are also very clean. They make every effort to maintain cleanliness throughout the day. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is quiet and enough off the highway to avoid traffic noise. Plenty of shade.

We will definitely come back to this campground. Our site had lots of shade trees and lots of space. We enjoyed the pool and the shower house was very clean. Staff was really friendly. Thanks for a great vacation.

We were so very happy with our stay! The park and facilities are very well maintained. The staff was incredible. We were there the weekend of the bike rally but the park was peaceful. We are planning more visits for sure!!! Thank you KOA

First time here very accommodating...Great time ....quiet time 10:30pm very reasonable. First Mackinaw Motorcycle Rally hope all the business got to know what to expect for next year..KOA needs to let other campers of bike week so they know what to expect. Owners were total awesome...so was the night shift....

Our stay was met with a very friendly staff, area features and discount coupons. After check in we were escorted to our site. The escort assisted with ground guiding us in. The site was shaded, level gravel base and clean. A picnic table was on site. Dog run was excellent,, clean, fenced in to allow off leash and with patron seating. I would recommend the Mac City KOA to anyone!!

Very clean, sites are big and shady, good WiFi, good cable. Nice clean dog park. Great camp store, staff is very friendly and helpful. Good size pool and playground. Walking trails to town and a shuttle to ferries.

The showers were clean. That is a major concern for me. We felt safe. It was very quiet and the staff was very friendly. The free shuttle to & from Sheplers Ferry (this ferry takes you to Mackinac Island). worked like a charm.

There was dog poop at our campsite. Should oil spray the roadways to keep the dust down.

Loved being close to Mackinaw City but far enough away to eliminate road noise. Loved all the trees and the care the campground employees gave the campground and the guests.

Owners and staff are very attentive to both the guests and the condition of the property. Clean and in good repair! Comfortabl furniture as well as table chairs and a propane grill at our patio site (And of course a fire pit) We road our bikes from the campground to ferry across to Mackinac Island. No need to hassle with parking or shuttle, especially since our plans were to bike the island.

Great place to stay to visit the area and Mackinac Island. The shuttle picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry. It was great!

We enjoyed our stay. Clean restrooms and friendly workers. Our only problem was barking dogs. The people on the site next to us left for the day and left their 2 dogs in their camper. They barked constantly. Very annoying when trying to relax! Other than that, well maintained grounds with plenty of trees. Just be aware, the sites are quite small. Weren’t able to erect our gazebo.

Great Stay. Second Time here. Our main complaint is the sheer closeness of sites and water, electric, cable hookups in odd placement on some sites.

Camp was very clean and sites well maintained. Only thing needed is shuttle service to town. Its a little too far to walk in extreme weather.

This was a great base for us as we explored the Mackinaw area for a few days. We enjoyed the concrete patio and chairs as well as the location to get in and out of the attractions. The camp host did a great job maintaining the grounds and working with us to ensure we had a nice stay.

We really enjoyed our stay! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We loved the trail that lead to town so much! We liked the park because it was smaller. It was very clean and well maintained.

We loved this KOA! The facilities and the staff were awesome. Very helpful & friendly staff. Clean laundry room and the pool was clean and well maintained. They even texted each evening to make sure you had firewood and ice and delivered! The campground also is very conveniently located to Mackinaw Village & the ferry to Mackinac Island and they will line up a shuttle ride to the ferry terminal

This KOA site is one of the best. The staff contacted me on my way to the site with kind courtesy texts for communication. I was guided and informed thoroughly even though we arrived very late. Beside texts, they are friendly and kind. The camping site is very clean, well organized and maintained. Our family enjoyed our camping there comfortably with visiting Mackinac Island. Strongly recommend!!

This campground was great to stay in after our day on Mackinac Island. We arrived right before the office closed at 6pm on Saturday and were able to get firewood and checked in. You can't get firewood after 6 as far as I know so if you need firewood and will get there after hours, get some on the way in. The campground was clean, the staff were incredibly friendly, and we had a great time staying in our Kamping Kabin with our two dogs.

This is the nicest KOA we've camped at. The sites are spaced apart with maple trees between each site. Beautiful for Fall camping. The facilities get A+ on cleanliness, on enough showers, and on hot water in the showers! The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They have outdoor games for kids, bikes for rent, the bike trail runs close to the park, and they have a free shuttle to the ferry. We will definitely camp here again if we are in the area.
