The grounds were great. People staying there all friendly. Staff was fantastic. Texting to see if you needed anything, always keeping place clean. Showers and bathrooms very clean. Our friends who have rv’d for decades and have more experience with campgrounds met us and said was one of the best they have ever stayed at.

Wonderful and clean campsite. Close to everything either by feet or bike. We didn't move our truck once with this stay. Everyone is friendly and one of the nicer KOA's that we have stayed at. THANKS!

We booked a last minute overnight stay on a long drive home from the U.P. We didn't get to experience much of the campground/amenities, but appreciate the personal touch provided with escorting us to our spot, the trash pick-up & firewood/ice deliveries. Also, we didn't have enough time, but awesome to have a free shuttle to Shepler's Ferry to Mackinac. We hope to stay again!

This is one of our favorite campgrounds. It gives a rustic feel, but the facilities and staff are all top notch. We have been coming here since we acquired our first RV in 2004. The present owners took over a few years ago and the grounds, wifi, and general feeling of the camp have all improved tremendously. The flowers this year around the campsites, pool and facilities were particularly lovely.

Our stay was outstanding! The staff were very friendly & accommodating! Communication was prolific. The staff not only were helpful but also informed re: local happenings. My wife & I will be back when we’re in the area!

Nice enough park, close to town. Easy access from freeway. Well kept and clean. Narrow sites with limited parking space. Somewhat difficult for big rig movement.

We loved this KOA. The shower and toilets were immaculate. The site was level and shaded by a beautiful tree. The office staff was friendly and Mark was fantastic as he helped me with my poor TV reception. Oh, and the laundry was small, but nice. If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely stay at Mackinaw City KOA. You’ll like it too!

We've been camping at Mackinaw City KOA for many years now and plan on camping for years to come!! The hosts and staff are awesome. Every year we see new improvements. We really like it here.

We Love this campground. We are planning our next trip already. Very friendly. I liked the Tex every afternoon to remind you of the front office closing time and to order ice or wood. Can’t wait to go back.

The campground was very easy to navigate and the facilities were very clean. Our only issue was power. The electrical outlets were not regular voltage so we had to buy a converter but there was a convenient store only a mile away (we checked in after hrs). The trail to get the the city was also very nice!

Awesome staff, clean park ,great place to camp except the acorn trees that wakes you up at 3 am when a acorn falls from the tree that your park under on to your trailer. No but really great place. John,Debra & Pepper

This campground was great to stay in after our day on Mackinac Island. We arrived right before the office closed at 6pm on Saturday and were able to get firewood and checked in. You can't get firewood after 6 as far as I know so if you need firewood and will get there after hours, get some on the way in. The campground was clean, the staff were incredibly friendly, and we had a great time staying in our Kamping Kabin with our two dogs.

This is the nicest KOA we've camped at. The sites are spaced apart with maple trees between each site. Beautiful for Fall camping. The facilities get A+ on cleanliness, on enough showers, and on hot water in the showers! The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They have outdoor games for kids, bikes for rent, the bike trail runs close to the park, and they have a free shuttle to the ferry. We will definitely camp here again if we are in the area.
