This was our first camping experience- ever! And it was the best we could have asked for. Our son is disabled and the ease of getting around the campground was nice. His wheelchair navigated around well. The campground was quiet and beautifully maintained. The sites were well equipped and while I did feel they were a little close together, the neighbors were quiet and I am not complaining.

Very nice - had some barking dogs occasionally You were able to accommodate us for the third night however we paid extra for a patio which was used by our neighbors!!

We were assigned a campsite near the woods on the south side. When it rained, it all washed over and flooded our campsite with mud. We realize you cannot control the weather, however a load of gravel would go a long way to improving these sites. Our outdoor space was completely unusable even with the awning extended. Finally, the blank tank flush hoses were useless. A hose hookup is necessary.

We enjoyed our stay. The camp hosts were very informative with text messages asking if we needed anything for delivery and the hours of the office. Longer store hours would be better but all of the people were helpful and friendly.

Nice campground, hardworking staff that is eager to help. Campground could use a lighting upgrade for the safety of late arriving campers, as well as those already there. No problems while we were there. Campground provides access to a ferry service to take guests to Mackinaw Island. Local attractions are close to the campground. And don't forget the pasties before you go home.

The Mackinaw City KOA is a well maintained camp ground. The staff was friendly & helpful. We had a premium site, camping in a Class A. Great site, nice premium furniture, and very clean gas grill!! My gravel/dirt site was no where near level though making my front wheels come off the ground when leveling, not a good thing. Regular sites were close. Nice K-9 Camp (Dog Park). I would stay again.

we stayed 5 nights. all team members were fiendl and accommodating. service was excellent. we will be back.

we enjoyed the koa very much, the people were friendly and the service was A1 one of the people work for a long time to get tv reception and found out it was our cable connection was bad. this was by far one of our best experience at a campground. Thanks for a good time ben brace

Clean, and nice spots to set up. Playground has lots for the kids to do and staff is very helpful. We had a great stay!

Very helpful on entry in the pouring rain and setting up electric. Very helpful refilling our propane tanks as we exited. Laundry room was crowded and slow.

This is our second year coming to your park. It is a very nice, clean and friendly place to stay. Just wish reservations weren't so hard to get! Management and staff are great!

Clean and quiet site was nice and easy to set up. Loved the hospitality and communications via text. Highly would recommend, matter of fact already have recommended to people already.

Very friendly people and great service. Loved the clean bathrooms and also the shuttle to the ferry. Great location! Would definitely stay there again!

We reserved this stay over 6 months ago. We were still stuck in one of only 2 lots that totally flooded with several inches of water and mud during a heavy rainfall. They would probably say first come first served on lots, but what they don’t admit is that they need clean gravel )not road mix that contains dirt) covering all the lots and roads. Concrete slabs for parking would be even better.

The staff were awesome and the campground was perfect for our two night stay. I would highly recommend this campground if your looking for a home see while you’re enjoying the Mackinaw area.

Best KOA we have ever camped in. The staff is very friendly! every night before the office closes, they send all campers an email to tell them know . Firewood is ordered and delivered to your campsite. The park and facilities are so clean!!! The office has discount tickets for the Island and arranges shuttle service to the piers. Would definately stay there again!!!

We stayed eleven days. Almost every day at least one of the staff would wave and say "Hello". Park was neat and clean. Every question that I ask the staff was answered. Just had a great stay. I would recommend staying here for a great Mackinaw experience.

Your restrooms were very clean,I can’t really rate any thing else because we just used our camper as a bed room because we spent our days at the Mackinaw trade fair working in one of the tents.Sorry Chris &Jan.

The campground is very nice and we would stay again. Some of the things I found were Doug the owner seems to be a micro manager making it a little less relaxing at times. The office advertises discount tickets to the island so we decided to buy from them. Found out later it’s the same price as online only if we would have bought them on line they offer discounts for groups of three which we had.

Check in was very smooth. We arrived about 45 minutes before check in. They had us on our site within 10 minutes. Campground was very quiet and peaceful. If you needed firewood or ice all you had to do was text them and you got an emailed receipt. Will definitely stay here again.

Very nice, well maintained campground. Excellent service and hookups. Not the biggest sites, but lots of attention to detail. Thanks for a very nice stay. Lake Michigan is close also.

We love KOA ...so clean, efficient, friendly, helpful.. we had a wonderful stay! We certainly appreciate the clean bathrooms and the pool! The staff was so helpful in getting tickets and the bus to the island! Well done.. just what we expect from KOA!

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. All the staff were outstanding. Really made us feel welcome. Grounds and facilities clean and maintained very well.

This campground was great to stay in after our day on Mackinac Island. We arrived right before the office closed at 6pm on Saturday and were able to get firewood and checked in. You can't get firewood after 6 as far as I know so if you need firewood and will get there after hours, get some on the way in. The campground was clean, the staff were incredibly friendly, and we had a great time staying in our Kamping Kabin with our two dogs.

This is the nicest KOA we've camped at. The sites are spaced apart with maple trees between each site. Beautiful for Fall camping. The facilities get A+ on cleanliness, on enough showers, and on hot water in the showers! The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They have outdoor games for kids, bikes for rent, the bike trail runs close to the park, and they have a free shuttle to the ferry. We will definitely camp here again if we are in the area.
