Our first 100 days have flown by—but not without leaving a mark on these 20 acres!
In just over three months, we’ve:
Re-roofed every building
Replaced the first round of cracked concrete pads that dated back to the Carter administration
Refinished the pool area for max splash and sunshine
Created a new communal fire pit for stories, s’mores, and stargazing
Reimagined the Camp Store to bring in brands we love and believe in
Completed the men’s bathroom renovation for a fresher, more functional experience
Partnered with the county to adopt our road and fix the potholes leading to the campground
Earned Kamp Green and Unity Blaze certifications
Completed major site work to improve drainage, access, and aesthetics
And that’s just the infrastructure.
We also added a one-year-old cavapoo named Ms. Hazel to our team of greeters and welcomed Marie (Head of Campground Shannanigans) and Noelle (Ambassador of Relaxation) full-time now that the school year has wrapped.
None of this would be possible without the incredible contractors, campground staff, and community of guests who have jumped in with both feet. Their hustle, heart, and humor have made this milestone something truly special.
We've heard amazing stories from guests, watched strangers become campfire friends, and found the kind of laid-back rhythm we only dreamed about before this adventure began.
And we’re just getting started.
