We’re excited to share a fun new addition to the playground here at Meridian East / Toomsuba KOA Journey.
We recently added two GIBBON SlackYard systems to give guests a brand-new way to play, move, and challenge themselves outdoors. What we love most about these additions is that we installed them in different lengths, creating options for guests with different ability levels and comfort zones. That means younger adventurers, first-timers, and more confident balance pros can all join in on the fun at their own pace.
The SlackYard is a freestanding slackline setup designed to let users build balance and coordination without harming trees. It’s designed to keep users just inches off the ground while they learn and progress.
That makes it a great fit for our campground. We’re always looking for ways to create outdoor experiences that are active, memorable, and a little different from the ordinary. The new SlackYards add another screen-free activity for kids and families, while also giving guests a chance to test their balance, coordination, and confidence in a fun setting.
And we didn’t stop there!
We also added a GIBBON SlackBoard to our checkout inventory, so guests can borrow one and give it a try during their stay. The SlackBoard is designed to be beginner-friendly, compact, and easy to use.
Whether you’re traveling with energetic kids, looking for a new family challenge, or just want to try something different while you’re here, these new additions give you one more reason to get outside and play.
