Very friendly check in process. I was looking for something in the store that I could not find. The camp host said that she thought that it the storeroom. She said that she would take a look and bring it to my camp site. 10 mins. later she showed up at the camp site with the item. Now that is service.

We only drove through and spent the night.,.....but it was very clean, the staff was very friendly and informative, and it had everything and more than what we needed. Thank you for the nice stay =) The Cazes Family

Very friendly, lots of amenities & very clean. Wood bundles are hardwoods, not pine as some places have. The one drawback is the lack of individual fire pits, while they did provide a portable on request. We come from an area where every campground, state park, & national parks have firepits even nestled into forests. We customarily cook outside when camping so it is a loss for us to not have o

Yes,for our sites that don't have a fixed pit we are more than happy to provide portable one. The only reason some sites do not have permanent ones is that they would frequently be run over. Also, we like to give the freedom of our campers choosing where they would like to set up their camp area.

I really appreciated Rodney’s help when I came to a bridge that was quite close to the KOA that had a 3 Ton limit (our right is 15 tons). He told me that the sign was missing a number! Yikes. We just stayed the one night but everything went well and we had the chance to explore downtown Meridian. Thank you!

We stopped for one night and this place was fabulous! Very nice lady at check in that was nothing but kind and helpful. Would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends!

I smile every time this park is mentioned. The people are so kind, from the owners to everyone on the staff. Their addition of long pull-thru sites and roadwork behind the office have made it even better. I had great fun, shooting a telephoto picture with the "KOA Ahead" sign in the foreground and that atrocious neighboring junkyard spanning the background. Ironic, given how nice this park is!

Stayed 4 nights at this pretty campground. Quiet and spacious in a wooded setting. Will definitely go back again.

The KOA was really wonderful, as well maintained as any KOA I have ever visited. The item that really struck me is that notwithstanding it is January and very cold, their swimming pool was crystal clear blue water, as shining as if August. My theory is that if you maintain the swimming pool that well in the winter, you maintain everything very well. And they do.

Stayed overnight while traveling. For this purpose the area was good enough. Seems like the purpose of the spaces we were parked (over nighters). These sites are close together, too close for more than a quick stay. The staff are awesome and very friendly and accommodating. They are the reason we’ll stop again. Staying over was pleasant.

Our stay was very good. We had a concrete pad that wasn’t in the best shape. We were told they are in the process of resurfacing all concrete. That will make the sites more level and cleaner.

It is a true camping experience here. We are 2 miles from the interstate. You can hear the soothing night time noises while you enjoy the stars.

Arrived late, left early, no issues with 40’ 5th wheel + longbed dully. Navies arriving late I reached out to them. Great and continually texting. They came out when we arrived after closing to ensure everything was OK. GREAT COMMUNICATION!!!!! I’ll stop here again!

Wonderful people operating this facility....southern hospitality at it's finest. game room looks fabulous, pool table, ping pong, foosball and other games. Campsite clean, flat, easy hook up we'll be back !!

Roads to get to CG narrow. Check in was simple and quick. You have to navigate lots of trees and narrow paths to get to your campsite. Site was clean and very quiet.

Very loud and noisy with a truck stop / junk yard abutting the campsites

I apologize that your stay was not relaxing and noisy. I just want to address that we do not share a property line with a truck stop or junk yard. You must pass by a junk yard to get here. You can not see it from any of our campsites.

Site was concrete and relatively level. No problem with hookups. Everyone we met was friendly.

Good thing, nice trees & very nice staff. Bad THINGS...road from i20 to KOA is difficult with truck stop traffic, construction, narrow road, the last right turn has a Y, very easy to make a mistake you'd regret & visual sight of the metal scrap yard (Frightening). Sites are asphalt but broken up. Trashcan was right in front of our sit. Dog poop was immediate to stepping out of our truck.

We are happy about the construction because it will fix the narrow road and make a more sound bridge. Yes,you must watch for our well placed signs to make the correct turns. The scrap yard and sites were addressed in other comments. Any problems with your site could have been fixed during your stay.

Just stayed one night while traveling south. Quiet and clean . Office staff where very nice. Would stay again , and probably will when heading back north in the spring.
