Well managed and well maintained. Janet in the office is the most helpful. WiFi is horrible. Monthly sites have hardly any shade or view. Few options in this area of rv sites that accommodate families so we had to stay here for work. Playground is not a play ground. The chemicals they use to spray for weeds is very strong and left residual harsh odors at sites. Pool and laundry were nice.

Had a fantastic spot #71. Patio-table and chairs-brand new BBQ island. Would have been 5 stars if not for the annoying phone call at 11:24 AM asking "Is everything OK" yes all is good putting up levelers now " Just checking as check out time was 11 AM". Annoying. Park was not full.

Salome KOA botched our reservation so we drove to Mesa/Apache Junction. Don expedited our location and after hours registration. Next morning, Janet coordinated our reservations in conjunction with KOA Corporate to facilitate our continued trip home. In a day when customer service is key to business, the staff of Mesa/Apache Junction demonstrated the highest care. Thank you, Don and Janet!

We loved the campground and our ample site with patio and grill but we had to leave early due to the heat wave (109 degrees). We’ll be back…when it’s cooler.

We were there during the summer so it was pretty hot. The electric handled all of the ac units running in the park with no interruption in service. The spots were very close together and your door faced your neighbor so the privacy was lacking. We understand it was for power and water hookups but still not our preference. The bathrooms were very clean and nicely configured.

Nice quiet place, the older managers on the weekends are great. But I tagged the rating lower due to basically no internet. It should be upgraded. Luved the pool too.

This is one of the top 3 KOA's we have stayed in. Very clean park, with nice restrooms. Take a trip to Canyon Lake/ Tortilla Flat, awesome scenery.

Exceptional KOA. Showers and restrooms are spotless! I never used the pool so cannot comment. KOA store is well stocked. Camp hosts are helpful and friendly. Trash bins are clean! The campground is very well maintained. What more could one ask for?

Loved the Kampground. People were very friendly Would like to see a shade structure over the dog run. Pea grave was really hot on their paws

Bathrooms very tired and too small for campground of this size. Owner does not cover rails into pool and with extreme heat, burnt hand getting onto pool. Cigarette smoke/butts all over area near pool. Disgusting. Owners very inflexible and not concerned with extreme heat and how it affects paying customers. Will never return to this location. THIs Mesa KOA ruins KOA good reputation overall.

We got in about 9:30 pm on a Tuesday night. The envelope with all the info we needed was easily accessible and our site was ready for us . We left the next morning without any problems. We are only on a pass thru trip this time , but will definitely remember this site for future vacations. Thanks so much

Let me start by saying I love the place enjoy staying there. After going into the office Friday to pay my bill , the POS system for payment charged my card over $900.00 then claimed they never received it. NIGHTMARE! Now I had to dispute the charge on my card and had to cancel it. Putting me in a negative balance ECT.. after talking to management it's happened before. could have been prevented

Big pull-thru lots, full hookups, smaller bath house though. And I don't think Arizona has cold water! Make sure you have an ice-maker or bagged ice. The park was nice and clean. There was 1 camper that appeared to be working on cars and such for a few days before the managers kicked him out. After that, it was very peaceful. This place is far enough outside Phoenix to be nice and quiet.

So, first off, we arrived at 3:54 and the office was already closed. There was a note saying that the wifi was for email only. As a remote worker this was concerning. At check-in the next morning, I was told that no campground has wifi sufficient for remote work and that I should have called ahead. Yeah, um, ok. Not KOA standard at all.

Got there during "closed for lunch" hour. No registration left out. Very hot. Called "emergency" phone and got voicemail. Fortunately found nice lady cleaning bathrooms and she got our site info. Pool was very warm. Not sure if it's solar heated or not. Site was very unlevel. I understand some for runoff, but this was excessive

Wasn't our favorite KOA, that's for sure. Wifi didn't work at all and when we asked them about it their response was, "the wifi doesn't work here hardly ever and when we're full it never works." Normally it wouldn't have mattered to us so much but our daughter was on a deadline for her summer school studies. The grounds were clean, staff was kind, but it wasn't all that impressive.

Had a great stay, older park but nothing wrong with that, very well kept up and was all gravel/dirt which was great for the dog so didn't burn her feet. Site was large enough for big rig and office staff/owners were great

No change machine in the laundry room, 5 waders and three dryers so I had to wait for two people ahead of me to dry their clothes, the office closes at 4 and the attendant on duty doesn’t have access to the office.
