Accommodations were nice and staff were friendly. Coffee in the office was very good and a big plus for me. Only recommendation to improve my stay would be to upgrade the bathrooms & showers.

The team at Mount Pleasant make it feel like home. They are friendly, helpful and always have a smile on their face. The accommodations were clean, stocked and wonderful

We enjoyed our brief stay in the waterfront cabin, but we strongly recommend that the cabin get a deep cleaning and new linens before the next guests arrive. Better lighting should also be considered.The cost of the stay was too high based on the housekeeping issues and at a time of year when access to full activities is not available. The fire pit and its seating area were nice.

Our first time at any KOA and will likely be our last. Not friendly in the office, very unwelcoming escorts to our site. Trolley is in need of serious repairs including floor, bed, counter tops and shades. When we asked the groundskeepers about the bike rentals they were very standoffish and could not be bothered and made it like it was a hassle.

We had a great time! Our cabin was clean and cozy, a short walk from the restrooms/showers and the camper kitchen, and we were happy to have a heater and a fan even in a rustic cabin. Everyone was friendly! We loved the walking trail and the lake!

Everything about the stay great except for the beds in the cabins. They were terribly soft and really made it hard to get a good nights rest. Other than that the facilities were clean and staff was happy and helpful.

We stayed in a cabin. It exceeded our expectations rations! The shower water pressure was great. The wall fan made great white noise for sleep. Comfortable bed, fridge, Keurig, and lots of hooks and outlets. We heard owls hoot and loved watching the birds over the clear water. The best part was how lovely and helpful the staff were. Better than a hotel even if you don’t camp!

We stayed in K19 after switching from an RV as my husband couldnt come. We opted to stay anyhow in a cabin because there was a door to separate the bunks from the rest. Within an hour of checking in, I stated that the door wouldn’t close. They checked and said they’d fix “later”. They didn’t & I didn’t hear further. I paid a premium for this and not happy about it :(

The deluxe cabin was fantastic! Clean, quiet, beautiful view, etc... I will definitely be staying there again. One suggestion. There needs to be another light source in the cabin other than the overhead ceiling fan light. I wound up buying a battery powered lantern that worked perfectly.

The facilities were fine...the weather not so good this year for the Charleston Highland Games. The room was comfortable.

My husband and I first stayed at this KOA one year ago, we were very impressed. We rented a deluxe cabin on the lake. One year later and two other couples(friends) each rented cabins beside us. We all had a very nice time, the guys were a little disappointed they didn't catch a fish but they still enjoyed their stay. Looking forward to Christmas when one of the couples are renting a large cabin.

Our annual visit to attend the Charleston Scottish Highland Games [we came last year because we wanted a break and the KOA is the perfect place] - excellant as always. Many places we visit show "wear and tear" from year to year. This KOA always has something new and improved every time we visit.

Beautiful setting. Cabins are comfortable. TV reception is not very good. It would be nice if you provided more pillows and extra blankets.

We came down on quite possibly the worst weekend for weather but we had a great stay nonetheless. We have been staying here for the last 6 years and it's not gotten old! A great place to stay for sure.

This is our second stay at the Mt. Pleasant KOA and we couldn’t be more pleased. The staff is always so nice and the KOA is very clean. We are already planning our next trip to the Low Country and hope to find a cabin available the days we plan to visit. Thank you for your Southern hospitality and for making our experience a great one, again!!

This was our second time staying in the cabins. We stayed in the 1 bedroom cabin this time. The cabin was perfect. Large deck plus the concrete fire pit area. Close to the amenities and a short walk to the dog area. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed in a lake front cabin and could not have been more pleased! Highly recommend!!! 2 adults and 2 kids, comfortable for our 2 nights but already planning a longer stay next time.

The camp ground is beautiful, the grounds are kept up so nicely. Stayed in a deluxe cabin, needs to be upgraded- The bedding would be my biggest complaint- the sheets were very thin with lots of lint balls which made them feel rough. The bottom of the bed had a curtain sham for decor. The little porch had not been cleared off and the front door had not be cleaned in months.(hundreds of hand prints

Our stay was awesome from the moment we pulled into the campground until we checked out. The staff is wonderful, always there if you need something. The grounds are immaculate. The cabin was clean and the view was superb. Thank you everyone for a wonderful stay.

Can I put 10 stars? it was an amazing stay. I don't know where to start, everything was perfect. The staff(scotty) calls my son or our dog by their name. say hi every time they met. The plantation tour was full of history. the lac. the dog park, the neighbors, the natural trail and so on. I had something to print and scan, no pb. Will go back again for sure.

The campground staff were very accommodating given we had problems with our MH and had to move to a cabin. Scott was very helpful and pleasant during the difficult time. We will be staying again in April 2022.

Mostly good but negatives concerning the cabin: 1) The floors were dirty and we had to clean them so we didn't stick to the goo that was left behind; 2) The cabin was really dark the first night. The only inside lighting was the three bulbs on the fan, however, one was a 40w equivalent. LED, one was a 25w old type bulb and the third was burned out. They did not have replacements at that time.

Excellent KOA. Pricey but location is great. Every year they try to improve the campground. We've been coming to this location for almost 12 years. And we'll be back again!

Great spot. Staff were all helpful and friendly even in the busiest times. Sites were well spaced and comfortable. Nice views of the lake. Bathrooms, showers, and laundry were all clean and worked well. Patio site we stayed in was fantastic. Location is close to great sightseeing and tons of shopping. Campsite is peaceful and quiet. Good security with gate system and night patrol. We will be back.

We stayed here a couple months ago on our cross country trip and it was one of our favorite places! The location was perfect and the grounds were nice, and they have a lovely nature walk. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Scott in particular was so great and helped us out when we had some issues with our tires on check out day. Thank you guys for a great stay!
