Everyone I had interactions from the staff within the campground were always very friendly and helpful. Campgrounds were well maintained and clean. When you call the desk or go to the front office be sure you know the number of your campsite - they are not happy when they ask, and you don't know. If you stay in a cabin where bed linens are provided be sure to take your own...just an FYI.

Very dissatisfied with the amount of activities offered. The Rec room was empty except tables/chairs. Some board games, books or even chalkboard/chalk would be welcome. Zero areas for children except a small playground. Splash pad coming. For such a well off area it was surprising how much this KOA was lacking.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The campground offers a full scope of activities from Memorial to Labor day. There are not enough children on the campground outside of these dates to have a full schedule of organized activities.

Was very disappointed. Had to sign a statement of responsibility upon arrival , the problem is the fees were highly excessive. The property was a mess with construction that did not seem to be progressing much. The K-9 park seems like you really don't care about pets .There was NO WATER for the pets. Description of cabin said partical kitchen/you don't know this term includes a stovetop- NONE !

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Sorry you had a disappointing visit. Damage/Clean Up Agreement is standard. Description of the cabin states it has a microwave, keurig coffee maker and small fridge. A section of Kamp K-9 is fenced into the lake, water there. Improvements are moving along.

Awesome First Time Visit. The park is clean and the bass pond is beautiful. The cabin was cozy with outside picnic tables, firepits, and grills. The staff was very attentive and courteous. They even called to tell me I forgot a big pillow and that they were mailing it back to me. We will be back! Thanks for the hospitality.

Nice place need gravel around cabins. Dirt around the cabins constant tracking indoors. Cabin clean, but the bleach smell a little strong. The air system needs new filters. The existing bathrooms were clean but need update from peeling paint and old fixtures. Still would recommend this KOA to family or friends.

Everyone was very nice, the grounds were well kept. The walking trail was beautiful and the dogs loved the big dog park on the lake. Very enjoyable.

We had a great time. The cabins are very nice and great location with the canda geese and malards flying right by on their way to the lake just 5 minutes away. The owls were hooting in the woods across the little creek. Everyone was friendly and quite. My grandchildren loved the play ground and swings too. Hope to come back soon try to paddle boats and the bikes!

Good stay overall. Would be nice for the bathrooms and showers to be cleaned more regularly. That is a big thing to have clean bathrooms and showers. Some items look old or run down like the basketball court. Needs upgrades. But overall, good stay and nice lake view, relaxing, good staff, professional, 1st time stayed in cabin and was good.

Deluxe cabin really needs an update. Dark and old. Should at least have a folding chair inside. Very difficult to stay in a place with no chairs. Bed not great. Location is good and grounds very nice.

Wonderful trip to a beautiful location! Loved how spread out the campground was. The only recommendation we have is to add another KampK9 closer to the dog friendly cabins that does not include lake access. Our pups LOVE to swim but sometimes we just want them to potty :) Thanks so much!

We stayed in a deluxe cabin. Our cabin and stay were great. I do recommend changing the mattress in the cabin K 19. It was very smashed down in the middle and a bit difficult to sleep on that way!

Campground is a must stay when going to Mt Pleasant SC! Ms. Jackie is always so friendly and kind and Mr Pat makes you feel like your family!! Everything is so clean thanks to the amazing Sophia! Best KOA!!!

deluxe cabin very nice. Though Would have been nice to have a larger fridge. K19 was a great location by the creek and lake.

The bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable. We complained to the management and they did not seem concerned. We will not be going but we will not be going back to this particular KOA. Apparently KOA’s are owned by different franchisees, so don’t expect the same experience here as you get it other KOA’s.

We stayed in a cabin. The cabin was in need of some TLC but we did see that other cabins are being worked on. I assume cabin #27 will also be fixed up. Staff was awesome - very friendly and helpful.

They were very accommodating. We had issues with our RV and it was at Camping World for several days. We were able to book a cabin for this time period. Very clean and well maintained. Close to many amenities, food and shopping.

Very nice campground, we’ve stayed here in our camper before, but this time we tried a cottage. Very nice, clean and staff are very nice. Highly recommend.

Excellent KOA. Pricey but location is great. Every year they try to improve the campground. We've been coming to this location for almost 12 years. And we'll be back again!

Great spot. Staff were all helpful and friendly even in the busiest times. Sites were well spaced and comfortable. Nice views of the lake. Bathrooms, showers, and laundry were all clean and worked well. Patio site we stayed in was fantastic. Location is close to great sightseeing and tons of shopping. Campsite is peaceful and quiet. Good security with gate system and night patrol. We will be back.

We stayed here a couple months ago on our cross country trip and it was one of our favorite places! The location was perfect and the grounds were nice, and they have a lovely nature walk. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Scott in particular was so great and helped us out when we had some issues with our tires on check out day. Thank you guys for a great stay!
