Everyone was so polite. When we had questions they were quickly answered we were very well accommodated. We will definitely be coming back.

Seemed like a great place, except half the facilities were closed that would make it fun. Would not be a problem other than we were not told until we got there and we paid FULL price for PART service. Unfortunate.

Wow, what a disappointment. Between uneven pads, no WIFI service and ALL the amenities being closed, we will not be back. The campground was completely full all weekend but all the "contracted" services were shut down. The WIFI is totally pathetic. My wife and I both work from our RV, and that was completely not possible. You advertise all these amenities, but totally not true!!

We were disappointed at the cleanliness of the restrooms & showers. The facilities were not cleaned everyday. The shower curtains had visible mildew stains. The bath stools were meant for home use and not sturdy enough for commercial use. The staff was very nice and the resort has lots of features, but the maintenance of such a critical part of the facility was second-rate.

This was our second stay here. The park is very well maintained. It is convenient to many interest. There are a lot of kids activities and the rodeo was a great idea. My only concern is so many kids driving and riding through the park without supervision. They were out on the roads and not really watching the traffic.

I'm handicapped from polio and we needed assistant getting back to our RV after dropping off the rental car issued at this KOA. The desk clerks laughed and said they didn't offer site service. We finally received help.

Overall, was a good stay. Didn't like how far the bathrooms were from the campsites. Also didn't like not being informed before arriving that because of when we were there it was a skeleton crew and wouldn't have access to all the amenities.

Great place and friendly staff. Clean restrooms and well kept property. We were there late in September and everything related to the campground was starting to shut down. Made restrooms and laundry very far for us. Even the restaurant and snack bar closed before October 1st which was suppose to be their shutdown date. Otherwise a very nice stay.

This is a great place to stay! Very close to all the major attractions, Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park, Keystone, Hill City. The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. The campsite was very nice. We will be back!

No shuttle service that is advertised. I was told first that they had it. When we got there it didnt. Showers were not as clean as they should have been. Only good thing we got 2nd day refund.

Our cabin was clean and comfortable. We visited in late September and were glad we had warm blankets! So handy to all the sites we wanted to see so that was a plus also. Office staff was friendly and helpful. The “snack shack” was a convenient feature but could use a good freshening up. Supply chain issues likely contributed to menu shortages. We would definitely recommend!

Stayed 2 nights during the last week of September. Very little in the way of amenities available - most everything was closed down. Very disappointed in the cleanliness of the shower areas. Many were closed down already and those open were dirty. Trash was overflowing in several dumpsters/trash cans. Should charge less at end of season if amenities/quality are not up to par. Won't return.

Loved loved loved the setting of the trailer and campgrounds staff was above and beyond friendly but y'all never clean the restrooms the entire week I was there two toilets had dookie stains the entire week I was there. All in all I was quite pleased and thoroughly enjoyed myself. PS:. You may state that you have Wi-Fi but you do not why lie when you can tell the truth.

Our stay was soooo wonderful! We met many fun neighbors who were gone the next day...we got to see the beautiful sights around the area, my very very favorite was Mt. Rushmore, Loved it!!!! But what made our stay there the best was the people who were working at the KOA.Very friendly, very helpful, smiles, and most important, very caring. They helped with a needed miracle while we were there.

The campground was lovely, it had all the amenities that a resort campground should have, the only drawback was the very weak WiFi.

Nice location, close to many adventures. Sites are not long enough to park travel trailer and truck. Many people parked on the grass between their trailer and their neighbors. We pulled across site but still just barely off the road. Showers and bathrooms were not very clean. Due to this being more of a destination location and not typically an overnight, WiFi should be available in a KOA resort.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was great and the staff was friendly. The only downside is that the resort closed the only bathroom close to our cabin on the first day with no warning. The other set of bathrooms was a long ways away and frankly they were dirty. The bathrooms is the reason for my 4 star rating.

The Mt. Rushmore KOA offers many on-site activities - especially for the kids, supplies, and food service/restaurants. It is centrally located, allowing easy access to Custer State Park, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse Monument, Keystone & Hill City. Additionally, the resort has numerous types (cabins, RV, tents) of accommodations - meeting every need you may have.

Bathrooms were filthy and broken. Showers needed to be power washed. Full of mud. Lobby was nice. Laundry facilities should give 10 min for .25 cents

Wonderful location and great selection of camping sites, but the poor conditions of the “Comfort Centers” and hits and miss custodial service resulted in unsanitary hygiene conditions. We’ve stayed at eight KOA’s since June as we travel from coast to coast and have yet to leave a negative rate, but was so put-off by our experience that we had to provide you with feedback. Our site was quite possibly the worst one we could have been given. Squashed between to RV’s and view of the bathroom with exhaust fan going continually. We booked our stay back in February and wasn’t sure how sites were doled out. After the 2nd night we asked if we could move. Next site was much better. Bathrooms were not cleaned daily. Seemed that maybe they are understaffed.

I booked my stay a YR in advance and when we got there the spot they put us in was directly in front of the showers with some loud fan that ran 24/7. The site were so small our truck was parked In the grass area next to our RV Sewer drain from the guy next door was right next to our picnic table We were also traveling with another party and I made note of that but they were no where near our site.

if you like crowded campsites this is the one for you. tiered site on side of mountain, kids everywhere, great rodeo, food tents worked well, convenient to attractions.

There were deep pot holes that need care. And when it rained it got very muddy. Cell service was nonexistent and wifi spotty at best. It was great being close to Rushmore but there were other parks with full cell and wifi service just 5 min further away.

Very clean, convenient. Loved that I could rent a car right there since we are older and don’t want to tow. All KOA campgrounds should do that!

Perfect place to stay while visiting the area. Amenities where awesome and very family friendly.

We dry docked for the night since they are closed for the season. This KOA is very beautiful with deer coming right up to the front door.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nites, and it was Phenomenal. A beautiful Resort atmosphere and even though it was at the very end of the season, every one there was very helpful and especially Becky. She is so knowledgeable about the area. I worked for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and I would hire here in a heartbeat to work with. KOA is very fortunate to have employees of this caliber.

This KOA is in a perfect location and would love to stay here again. We rented a glammed cabin which is just a upgrade from their simple cabins but well worth it in my opinion. Your cabin already comes with bedding, a mini fridge, microwave, outdoor grill and table and chairs. You have a beautiful view of the woods and the campground itself has so many activities. You're right in the middle of the black forest, custer state park and Mt Rushmore. I will definitely be staying there again.
