We come and stay there at Mountainside every year. We paid $20 more a night for our stay this year over last year and we were pretty disappointed with site #23. Our picnic table was unusable because of how chipped the stain was and the site was so uneven that you literally had to be super careful of where you stepped. We also were never warned about removing hoses due to freezing temps. Shocked!:(

Had a great time, all staff were friendly and very helpful. Sites are large and spaced well and very clean. Budget rental was very accommodating and gave us a car to drive around in.

We had a great tent site along the stream which was a great location! Loved the ease of access to the West Yellowstone entrance from the campground - just a quick 10 - 15 minute drive. Having showers available was a nice convenience. Only downside is that our tent site (and others I saw) didn't have a typical fire pit/ring - just a grill to put over a fire of your own making.

Check-in and out were so easy and convenient because we were arriving so late and leaving so early. It was easy to find our campsite and the facilities were plentiful and clean.

Conveniently located to access West Yellowstone. Just a few minutes drive to the entrance. Cool, complex creek and forest land directly behind for easy exploring. Those tent camping can have a spot on the creek. Nice, clean showers and restrooms. Fairly good pizza and friendly staff. Downside was some road noise from trucks and our site was on a bit of a tilt.

The site we had was large and well maintained. The laundry room was the cleanest I have seen in a while. A suggestion would be to only allow propane fire pits. Smoldering fires are not environmentally friendly nor to other campers. We couldn’t open our windows due to wood fires. We had to run our ac. That adds more to the KOAs electric bill and lowers our experience of wanting fresh air.

There were many open spaces and we drove 11.5 hours to meet up with friends from Colorado we haven't seen in years. They are KOA members. We know you can't reserve spaces but when we got there, we told them we would like to be as close to our friends as possible. We were at opposite ends of camp. All the days we stayed there, those spaces near our friends were never filled. Didn't make any sense.

Staff was great, sites are a bit tight for a 40’ class A RV. The biggest issue was the clean out pipe was nearly level or higher than my RV waste pipe so impossible to fully dump and clear the hose. Need to raise the gravel site number 4. Otherwise great views and friendly staff.

beautiful setting, clean facilities, knowledgeable and friendly staff...far enough away from West Yellowstone to avoid the traffic and crowds, close enough to quickly get supplies when needed

Great proximity to the west entrance of Yellowstone. Best bathrooms and showers of any KOA we've ever stayed at. Clean, friendly, and scenic. Trails from site connect to national forest that are truly hike worthy. Will definitely stay here again.

No grass in our campsite just rocks and dirt. Picnic table that hasn't seen a coat of paint in years. Restrooms were cleaned at least once while we were there. Pizza in lodge was really greasy and over priced. Really 16" pizza $28. Buyer beware.

Campground and check-in were fine, but price was exhorbitant for overnight stay. Should not cost $91 just for a place to sleep with hookups, but we needed electricity due to freezing temps. Otherwise, didn't use any amenities except for bathroom once, and our backin gravel site was very unlevel side to side. All campgrounds in area are expensive, and this is the furthest one from Yellowstone NP.

Disappointed that my request to have our friends have a site close to us was denied. I know you do your best to accommodate but I was flat our denied and told it was not possible. I'm curious why as the site 2 away was EMPTY during our entire stay. Not sure I will continue my KOA membership. Overall our stay was good, close proximity to Yellowstone National Park.

This is one of our favorite KOA’s so far..and we’ve been to a few! First of all, the staff..very friendly and welcoming. Thank you Eleanor for your hospitality:). The grounds & laundry room/ showers were clean. We are in a 38’ RV plus towing and had ample space, plus..space between our neighbors which was an added bonus. So close to the West Yellowstone Natl Park entrance too. Highly recomme

Our stay was fantastic, we really enjoyed our tent site. It was secluded from the rest and quiet. The one thing we really really disliked was the pizza we got. It was very expensive and very very burnt. We waited 30mins for it, paid over $20 and absolutely regretted buying it. It did not taste good.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They had excellent knowledge of the surrounding area. Our site by the stream was beautiful and peaceful. The showers are single stall with personal toilets. The laundry room is large- it’s about $4 to wash/dry. The gift shop/store had a lot of fun things.There’s a ride out ATV trail in the park that’s 5 miles up a mountain with a spectacular view! Great KOA!

The Mountainside KOA is over-priced: advertising a creek to fish that you can't, sites that are not aligned with the sun leaving many to bake while others are nestled in shade, and wi-fi that is too weak to use. We will not recommend or use again.

Third visit the water hose had not worked in the dump station!! Very noisy young people in tents across from our site. Music loud and kept starting and stopping loud car until 3 am. Need better monitoring of noisy people!

I like the park and may stay here again, but the site was not level and required several boards for my motorhone to be level. It just needed to be smoothed with a tractor and would probably be fine. Park attendant stated that he had seen several motorhomes struggle with this particular site.

It was a nice quiet campground with a great Scenery. The staff was very friendly and helpful! We will definitely stay there again!

Gorgeous view from the campsite. Bathrooms/showers pretty clean for the most part. Nice store up front. Nice staff. Would stay again.

We stayed in Cabin 9 Sept 21-24. The description said bring your own linens, but the queen bed was made up, there were towels, dishes & some utensils, a toaster, coffee maker and a few pots & pans (all kitchen things had to be washed, because the previous occupants were lazy, and put things away without dying them, or ensuring they were clean! Rude!). Very comfortable! Staff was friendly & responsive when a dryer rejected my quarters. We highly recommend!
