Great place, clean, fabulous staff so many amenities. Tremendous pride and care throughout the park. Bird feeders, trails, games, laundry, swimming pool so much to do.

Great people. Clean. Well run. Very friendly. Terrific location. The only reason I didn't give a five rating was, one afternoon they had a taco truck. (Great fun idea for guests.) The downside was they ran a portable generator for hours and and hours, because they needed 220 voltage for their cooling fan. This winter install a 220/ 110 circuit, close to the GREAT park they have and use a cord.

This is by far the nicest koa I have ever stayed at. Insanely clean, staff was super helpful and friendly.

The staff are wonderful. The grounds are immaculate and the bathrooms/showers are the cleanest I’ve ever seen.

We had a few problems come up and the staff were able to help us with what we needed to do to fix the problem and what we could not fix they called the proper people we highly recommended this KOA park

We stayed four nights over Memorial Day weekend. We have stayed at numerous KOA's across the US and this facility blew us away. The staff was so nice, the facility was very clean and our stay was just perfect. We loved the lawn games in the common area and enjoyed the ice cream social, taco truck and pancake breakfast. We can't wait to come back with more friends to share the fun.

My family picked this campground due to proximity to the national park. However, we ended up having so much fun at the campground that we only went into the park twice. The game lawn, playground and pool were a huge hit! We also had fun on the big swings and bike trails. The facilities were immaculate and the staff were the nicest we have ever encountered! We will definitely be coming back!!!

Stayed from Sunday to Friday, May 24-28, 2021. Nice, big, clean, level campsites. Enjoyed all the amenities the campground has to offer. Wish they had better wifi, but that's ok, we still had an amazing time there!

The gentleman at the desk was wonderful. Tent site had no real level areas for a tent. WiFi was non-existent or very weak. No excuse for what should be a premium campground.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

George, you were in tent site T8 which is about 80 feet by 100 feet in size. There are many level areas for your tent. You should have talked with us. We could have helped.

So much to do at this KOA and it was always clean. Heated pool, playground, lawn games, grassy dog run with some agility type activities, plus great walking trails with cool activities. Staff was super friendly. Showers were hot and clean. Close to Lassen Natl. Park and not too far from Subway Cave (lava tube) and Burney Falls. In my top 2 KOA’s in the west. Will definitely stay again!

Amazing!! Hosts caretakers everyone was so kind informative very professional. The property was spotless organized. They had so many extra activities going on. My children loved it. I am definitely going back there. And I will let my camping friends know about most wonderful experience we had. Thank you KOA.

The camp host was great and had lots of information for us. The kids enjoyed all the outside games and the pool. The bathrooms were very clean!!! The only negative thing-There is a dog that lives just outside the rv park that barked until about 2am...I wished that didn't happen.

This was my first time at a KOA, and it made a very good impression on me. The whole place was very clean, including the bathroom and showers. The campsite was completely free of debris. The people staying there were quiet at night, and the staff were very kind and helpful. My car battery died while I was there and the staff let me use the landline to call AAA, no problems.

This KOA is truly a KOA gem! The grounds/buildings are very clean, there are a variety of unique and fun activities- a nature trail w/ birdwatching, a bike course for kids w/ a couple of dirt jumps, a nighttime 'cat eyes' discovery walk along w/ the traditional campground games/swimming pool. The owner has much pride and care for this KOA and truly cares for his guest's safety and enjoyment!

Loved your park! Sites are fairly level and spacious–really appreciated the small fence/privacy screen between each site. Lovely wooded setting. Friendly, helpful staff. Lots of activities for families. Close to Lassen NP and McArthur-Burney SP. Wifi was down one day, but otherwise decent. Thank you!

I love KOA’s because (with one exception in Oregon) KOA’s are consistently clean, friendly, have some supplies on hand and are located in so many places. Our experience here was no exception. My husband feels the same way and if I am camping alone he feels much better if I am at a KOA instead a public park. We camp in a tent it this was just great as always.

Unbelievable KOA!! Best we have ever stayed in all across the country!! We will be back just to stay there again as it has a state park feel but with lots of amenities peace quiet and an unbelievable dog walking area. You will not be disappointed

The entire campground and facilities are very clean and well maintained. They definitely take pride in keeping it clean and presentable for all guests. Our cabin was perfect!!

This is a spotlessly clean and beautiful spot close to Lassen. I have never seen such clean bathrooms at a campground! The campsites are big and private enough. The people were fabulous and friendly. The amenities were lovely. Our dogs loved the K9 Kamp agility obstacles.

Beautiful clean location and wonderful staff. Had an issue with my trailer - the owner Jim was able to get a mobile RV repairman to my site in under an hour!

Discovered this campground last year and brought friends up this to stay as well. The staff is always friendly and the dog park is the best! Next year we will plan our vacation in June instead of May so we can enjoy the pool.

We had an amazing stay at KOA Shingletown/Lassen! The staff is so friendly and attentive! The games and amenities are very family friendly.... all the kiddos are smiling here�

1st time visiting but definitely won't be our last! Spot right across from playground & pool, easy to keep an eye on the kiddos while we chilled in our spot. My son had so much fun riding his bike on the trails & playing corn hole, Frisbee golf & ping pong. Camp was clean & we'll taken care of. Plus only 1 hour from home!

We absolutely love this KOA! Jim his wife and staff are so amazing and accommodating. They are always paying attention to all the campers and their needs with a smile on their face. We just got back from our 3rd year in a row camping durning the Halloween theme weekend. It was a blast everyday there is something for the kids and families to do. First night was movie and popcorn night they had the atmosphere perfect. It was a cold night so they had heaters out which made it so comfortable. The second day started with pumpkin carving, face painting, corn hole, bingo, and jump houses. And that's not all they had a tri-tip dinner and costume contest for all different ages, Including the pets! The kids all got to go trick or treating, then to top off the night they had a hay bail rides into the woods. Couldn't ask for a better time! On the last day they had a free breakfast for all campers. Best KOA ever if you ask me. Go check it out yourself you'll be amazed. Thank you Jim and staff
