Very cozy and quiet cabin. We liked the nature trail as well. Bathrooms were clean, and staff was friendly and helpful. Our only suggestion would be animal proof trash containers.

PERFECT! The Harvest Festival was an amazing family event. Sunday evening the weather turned cold, and it began to snow. Even though the power went out in the whole Shingletown area, Jim took good care of us, and we kept warm. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

This KOA is one of favorite locations - a must visit. The cabins are great! Thanks for also upgrading the WIFI as that is now an added benefit!

Being in the RV and camping industry are stay at this location in Shingletown was beyond top notch. The owner Jim and his entire team was amazing. the Grounds were superb. Stayed in the l3 lodge and its got us thinking we want one for are own now. I Very seldom rate stuff on internet so i just wanted to go out of my way to write this review. See You Soon. Our families favorite place to go. The staff is great, clean facilities, grounds are always kept up. Burney Falls, Lassen, Cinder Cone and Lava Tubes are close by. Highly recommend this place.

We’ve stayed at this KOA 5 times & it continues to impress us more and more with each visit. It’s our all around favorite place to go to get away not only because of the beautiful location, many amenities, & nearby attractions, but also because of the outstanding staff there! Everyone was super kind, friendly, anxious to help, & make us feel valued and welcome there. We’ll definitely return

We stayed in lodge 5. This was the first time we stayed there in a lodge as we recently sold our trailer. Hopefully they replace the beds soon in these units. After staying three nights, I know this would be a very worthwhile upgrade.

Loved our little lodge that we stayed in… so nice and clean and decorated so nice. Perfect for the two of us. Next time we come we would try and get away from the highway we were in lodge #1 and the traffic was a bit noisy through the night. Hopefully the next time we come we’ll be arriving with a brand new trailer. I just retired!! Yay! hope to see you again soon.

I give them 5 stars! Consistent Friendly staff all around from reservations, to around camp, to check out. We stayed in one of the cabins, everything you could need except food. Gas grill and seating outside in private area. Generous accommodations. Easy parking in front of cabin, beautiful grounds, sorry we missed the pool season. We will be back next year in the fall!

My wife and our two kiddos loved staying in the deluxe cabin. My son who is three played on the playground every day and pool. This KOA is the best one we ever stayed at and it was run by a amazing family. Anytime I needed anything Jason was on the spot and was super helpful. We will definitely be back for more family trips here in the future. Thank you from the Delgado family

This campground was beautiful. Our lodge cabin was super clean and well stocked. However we will not return to this KOA due to the fact they fabricate their own rules. Check in was a pain because of the sporadic office/store hours. Quiet time said 8 am - 10 am but really was whenever the owner wanted to go to sleep. Which was about 730/8 pm. I have never had seen a koa be so inconsistent.

Phil, I guess you are really trying to damage our business with 2 nasty reviews from the same stay. We do create our rules, it's our business! We are very short staffed and are doing our best. Phone is next to the front door for any after hour needs. In 3 days you should have figured things out.

Jim& Diana made us feel like family and were very welcoming. The relaxing atmosphere was perfect for our family. The deluxe lodge was as if someone placed a luxury hotel suite in the middle of a pine covered forest mountain. EVERYTHING was extremely clean - cleaner than any fancy resort we’ve stayed at. We plan to make this destination our new yearly family tradition.

Jim, the owner and his wife were terrific hosts. The staff were friendly, courteous and down right helpful. Jim was often seen around the community checking in with campers making sure they were enjoying themselves and checking to see if they needed anything, if so it was taken care of immediately. I will go back again. I will point out this is the first time I’ve used a KOA, thanks Jim and staf

The KOA has always been great. I’ve been coming here (or attempted to) for the last 5 years. Two of those years was cancelled due to fires. We came up this year. The kids are almost off to college. We had a great time even though Lassen was closed due to the Dixie Fire. We drove to Burney Falls and rented a boat at Lake Britton. Kids had a blast and the camp staff is always friendly!

We stayed in a cabin. It was clean and the staff was very friendly. It was so nice having our kids in the bunk bed room so we could plan the next days outings while they were asleep. We loved the pool, tree swing, basketball courts, and playground. Would definitely return.

My family of 13 people truly enjoyed our stay. I just wished we could have stayed longer. This by far was the cleanest KOA we've ever been to and we've been to several. The whole staff was friendly and attentive and it was just a beautiful place to stay. We will definitely recommend it and will plan on coming back.

Loved Mt Lassen KOA. Beautifully nestled amongst trees and wonderfully maintained grounds. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. We will definitely be back.

Checking out the campground as my family is expecting to spend 4 days here in August. I rented a luxury cabin with Air Conditioning. It was great. I would highly recommend this campground and these cabins.

Great place to take kids & getaway. Cell service is sketchy in places, but adds to the “Getaway”. Staff friendly & helpful. Grounds & restrooms were very clean. Our fam had two RV spots and a cabin. The only drawback was with the cabin. Sleeps 6 but only has 2 towels and linens for 1 bed. For the $$ of a hotel you think it would include towels & linens for all. Known upfront xtra $ for rest

The L4 cabin was nice, but hot. The one AC unit was in the bedroom and never cooled down the bunk bed area or living space, which was difficult with kids trying to sleep. Besides that, we loved the swings and peacefulness of the campground.

Brooke, we were having a major heatwave. Unseasonably hot. The air conditioner is normally more than enough. Next time let us know. We have nice portable units we could have set up for you.

We absolutely love this KOA! Jim his wife and staff are so amazing and accommodating. They are always paying attention to all the campers and their needs with a smile on their face. We just got back from our 3rd year in a row camping durning the Halloween theme weekend. It was a blast everyday there is something for the kids and families to do. First night was movie and popcorn night they had the atmosphere perfect. It was a cold night so they had heaters out which made it so comfortable. The second day started with pumpkin carving, face painting, corn hole, bingo, and jump houses. And that's not all they had a tri-tip dinner and costume contest for all different ages, Including the pets! The kids all got to go trick or treating, then to top off the night they had a hay bail rides into the woods. Couldn't ask for a better time! On the last day they had a free breakfast for all campers. Best KOA ever if you ask me. Go check it out yourself you'll be amazed. Thank you Jim and staff
