What a perfect little cabin (K1). We loved it. The amenities you offer are exceptional - even a bbq with tools and propane... Unbelievable! The rest rooms and showers are spotless, the grounds are beautiful and our cabin was immaculate. Thank you to the entire KOA team that works hard behind the scenes to make visitors’ stays so enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

The staff were very friendly. The campsites were clean. But it was way to close to each other. Very crowded.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

You were in RV site 13 with over 50 feet to the next site. I think you have mixed us up with another campground. I believe giving us a 2 star review because you were only 50 from the next site is very unfair. Please find another campground to stay at.

The owners/staff of this KOA are such a blessing. With their kindness, hard work & welcoming nature I was able to shake the blues of recent bad-health news. We love the grounds & proximity to beautiful destinations in the region, but really it's the team that make the trip perfect.My husband can rarely join us, but this KOA crew helps me feel safe so that I can take my little boy on adventures!

The owner Jim and all the staff on site were very friendly. The place was very clean and the area around the KOA was just gorgeous. I will definitely stay here again in the future. PS: I car camped in my electric vehicle (Tesla Model 3) and they were very accommodating. Highly recommend renting an RV site and plugging in to have a full charge in the AM to explore the gorgeous Mt. Lassen area.

We had a great time, camp was very clean and staff very friendly. Wi-Fi doesn’t work good, specially in the evenings so my advice is to download some show’s/movies ahead of time. We will come back.

We always try to stay at Lassen KOA if we’re in the area. The staff is great and the whole KOA is beautiful. They work hard at Lassen to make feel welcome, and there’s plenty of fun activities if you want to stay in camp all day.

Nice campgrounds but dogs barking close by all night long. Also apparently coyotes fighting in middle of night

Sorry, but off-site barking dogs are not normally a problem. Coyotes fighting is not something we can control. We were notified that the renter with the dogs has moved.

Well maintained KOA with lots of fun areas for walking, playing, sitting, bird watching, and a K9 area too. Very playful. Nice sites and in a great area.

We love Mt Lassen / Shingletown KOA. The sites are spacious, clean and level. There is a wooded area on the property that is great for walking and other activities. There are fun things for kids too, i.e. find the cat eyes at night. :>) Sometimes there is a movie night, breakfast and fun planned weekends. The owners, Jim & Diana and staff (Doug, Diana & Jason & more) are absolutely the best!

Stay was good.But I don't like that cabins are right up front on the road.would be better if they where in the back and not so close together. Like the store and check in.very nice people working there

This is a wonderful campground. Exceptionally clean. Bathrooms were spotless. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay so much we went back the following week. There are lots of activities for children. A well equipped playground, a small forest to run and play. I can’t wait to bring my grandchildren.

We loved staying here. Sites were a little tricky to get into (41’ fifth wheel), but the setting is gorgeous. The site was immaculate. They have beautiful walking paths & a great dog park. Our RV smelled so good from the pine trees. It’s close to the north entrance of Lassen Volcanic NP and Shingletown for gas and groceries. We will definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. If you want to get away from wifi and cellular service, this heavily forested park is the place. Sites are randomly laid out and not the conventional side-by-side sites. Navigation can be a bit tight for larger rigs, but manageable. Privacy in most sites is addressed nicely. If you want to make a reservation and are told nothing is available, try again later

What an amazing place with amazing camp host. Due to a glitch we were allowed to book prior to the campgrounds opening for the year. Not only did they honor the reservation but they were the best hosts that anyone could ask for. We enjoyed our stay soo much that we hope to be back the year but we will definitely be back next. We absolutely love this KOA! Jim his wife and staff are so amazing and accommodating. They are always paying attention to all the campers and their needs with a smile on their face. We just got back from our 3rd year in a row camping durning the Halloween theme weekend. It was a blast everyday there is something for the kids and families to do. First night was movie and popcorn night they had the atmosphere perfect. It was a cold night so they had heaters out which made it so comfortable. The second day started with pumpkin carving, face painting, corn hole, bingo, and jump houses. And that's not all they had a tri-tip dinner and costume contest for all different ages, Including the pets! The kids all got to go trick or treating, then to top off the night they had a hay bail rides into the woods. Couldn't ask for a better time! On the last day they had a free breakfast for all campers. Best KOA ever if you ask me. Go check it out yourself you'll be amazed. Thank you Jim and staff
