Thie is my second time staying here while visiting Mt. Lassen and surronding areas. The sites are clean and most of them are fairly level, but the amenities and camp hosts are what makes this place stand out. Lots of stuff to do for kids of all ages (my wife and I enjoyed the Giant swing outback). My younger niece and nephew enjoyed the Playground, Pool, and Friday night movie night with popcorn.

Very clean, quiet campground with great amenities. Excellent staff. Close to Lassen. I will definitely be recommending it to friends and family.

It was a nice shady quiet place! We loved every minute of our stay. Close to Lassen and Burney Falls too. Great staff and fun weekend activities.

We spent one night at a Deluxe Cabin/Lodge and only wished we had more time there! The cabin is spotless and included everything we needed for a pleasant stay! Late night/contactless check in was super easy and contained every piece of info we needed. The staff was most pleasant, warm, and helpful upon our check out! You can tell they take great pride & care in making this KOA the very best!

Very well maintained campground. Infrastructure was good. WiFi was ok, but Verizon reception was almost non existent. It’s located in a very rural area, but only 12 miles from the north entrance to Mt. Lassen NP

This was the best KOA we have ever stayed at. Our kids loved it. We had just enough privacy. The staff worked hard to keep things clean, fun, and safe during these difficult COVID days. The KOA’s proximity to Lassen NP was also great! We would highly recommend the Mt Lassen KOA.

We have stayed at this park many times over the years. We stay in their largest cabins and they have been very clean every time. The park itself is impeccably clean. When we have had special needs and requests the management has gone out of its way to satisfy our requests. Every last worker we have been in contact with have been very friendly and helpful. Great park.

First time staying at Mount Lassen/ Shingletown KOA. Such a wonderful experience starting with the staff in the office! The grounds were very clean and orderly. We were so impressed with the great dog park as well! We will definitely be back to stay at this beautiful park!!

This place is clean, staff is friendly, lots of fun activities but there are dog that bark ALL NIGHT LONg!! I got no sleep the entire stay;)( I will not ever come back because of this problem

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Jennifer, you were here for 4 nights and never approached us about the barking dogs. Everyday I go around and talk with our tent campers and not one other camper heard the dogs. You spent a lot of time in the store and talking with our maintenance man and never brought it up.

We enjoyed our stay. Wish WiFi was better .... but, I’m sure we will come again.

Hi Sherrill, We know our WiFi sucks, and we have been fighting with Frontier, our only internet provider for 4 years. Finally we may have resolution. By the end of October we should have significantly better internet. Thanks for staying with us.

We truly enjoyed our stay, the kids had a blast & the staff & other guests were extremely friendly! On our first night my husband lost his wedding band that was also my fathers before he passed not realizing until we got home 3 days later. A kind guest turned in the ring to the front desk to which we are able to recover the ring! Thank you to whom ever you are, & thank you to the staff!

Lovely site. Very friendly staff. Lots of amenities and things to do. Very clean and well maintained. Two small complaints: WiFi was poor to non-existent. All pull through sites should have full hookups.

Love the feel of this CG! The in trees. Not too large. And not “all in a row” spaces. The owners and employees are always so nice and helpful. Great place for kids and near a lot of activities. And a great dog area too. TheCG has always been so clean! Can’t wait to go back!

We loved everything about this KOA. Check-In was quick and easy with a very friendly front desk staff. The campground was clean and had great amenities and activities for the kids.

The campground was very nice, bathrooms clean. Kids loved the tree swing. Our spot was small (T3), and felt like an overflow sport, but if I could get a site in the back with the trees I’d come again!

Very nice. First stay at a KOA. Clean & family friendly. Only recommendation would to install more bathrooms near the tent camping areas. (The RV's have their own.) Looking forward to my next visit.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Had dead battery when ready to check out and they quickly came to help get us jumped and on our way. Very clean, well maintained campground in beautiful surroundings. Can't wait to go back and bring rest of the family!

We absolutely love this KOA! Jim his wife and staff are so amazing and accommodating. They are always paying attention to all the campers and their needs with a smile on their face. We just got back from our 3rd year in a row camping durning the Halloween theme weekend. It was a blast everyday there is something for the kids and families to do. First night was movie and popcorn night they had the atmosphere perfect. It was a cold night so they had heaters out which made it so comfortable. The second day started with pumpkin carving, face painting, corn hole, bingo, and jump houses. And that's not all they had a tri-tip dinner and costume contest for all different ages, Including the pets! The kids all got to go trick or treating, then to top off the night they had a hay bail rides into the woods. Couldn't ask for a better time! On the last day they had a free breakfast for all campers. Best KOA ever if you ask me. Go check it out yourself you'll be amazed. Thank you Jim and staff
