Being in the RV and camping industry are stay at this location in Shingletown was beyond top notch. The owner Jim and his entire team was amazing. the Grounds were superb. Stayed in the l3 lodge and its got us thinking we want one for are own now. I Very seldom rate stuff on internet so i just wanted to go out of my way to write this review. See You Soon. This is the most beautiful most well-kept most well-run KOA we have ever stayed at gym the host was absolutely amazing along with his entire staff. The campground is immaculate the bathrooms are the cleanest I’ve ever seen in any public establishment can’t really put into words how impressed I am with his location!!!!!!

Very clean Kampground! Jim and his staff is very helpful and friendly. Love the new propane fire pits! We have had a family reunion at Lassen KOA for the last four years and have had a wonderful experience with the staff every year. The Kampground is perfect for family get togethers.

Fantastic! I had a horrible trip from Crescent City, CA to Shingletown via 299 and was a mess when I got there. The owner took me to our site which was, unfortunately, not level for my big rig. He immediately gave me a new site and all was well. It had taken me 8 hours to drive 250 miles and I was exhausted. Thank you!

Our stay was a great experience, Jim, Diana, and the whole team make you feel like family. We have stayed at many KOA's and this one is one of our favorites. They have made many upgrades and keep the park very clean. We will will be returning to this KOA many more times in the future.

Our families favorite place to go. The staff is great, clean facilities, grounds are always kept up. Burney Falls, Lassen, Cinder Cone and Lava Tubes are close by. Highly recommend this place.

We’ve stayed at this KOA 5 times & it continues to impress us more and more with each visit. It’s our all around favorite place to go to get away not only because of the beautiful location, many amenities, & nearby attractions, but also because of the outstanding staff there! Everyone was super kind, friendly, anxious to help, & make us feel valued and welcome there. We’ll definitely return

I really enjoyed my stay and the staff is exemplary in keeping things maintained. I have reviewed this KOA in the past and this time wish to speak to the incredible improvement in the park's Wi-fi. It is lightning speed fast with a speedtest download of 128 mbps and an incredible upload speed of 116 mbps. This enabled me to stream my favorite shows at night and in the morning without a hiccup.

This was our fifth stay at the Mt. Lassen / Shingletown KOA and it gets better every time. Jim & staff go out of their way to make sure everything is in great shape and ready for your arrival. This beautiful wooded park is the perfect place to group camp with plenty of room to socialize. Camping at a KOA just doesn't get any better than this. A perfect place to stop in Northern California !!

It was a great stay (as usual) during our annual Lance rally. The owners, Jim & Diana and their entire staff went above and beyond (as usual). It is undoubtedly one of the nicest and friendliest campgrounds we have ever stayed at. Looking forward to next year.

We stayed in lodge 5. This was the first time we stayed there in a lodge as we recently sold our trailer. Hopefully they replace the beds soon in these units. After staying three nights, I know this would be a very worthwhile upgrade.

Loved our little lodge that we stayed in… so nice and clean and decorated so nice. Perfect for the two of us. Next time we come we would try and get away from the highway we were in lodge #1 and the traffic was a bit noisy through the night. Hopefully the next time we come we’ll be arriving with a brand new trailer. I just retired!! Yay! hope to see you again soon.

First time. Very impressed with beauty of location, and maintenance of the facility. Met a variety of staff over our stay. Each was pleasant and helpful, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. We look forward to seeing them at our next visit.

Lance Owners of America Rally. The staff took care of all our needs. Very attentive. The park facilities. And bathrooms were 5 star. Only minus was the pool was closed.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Hi, Warren the pool is open Labor Day to Memorial Day as stated on our website. Actually because of the beautiful weather we kept it open a week longer. We closed it a day before the first rain storm.

At sued with LOA rally. This KOA is one of my favorites! The people there are great and go out of their way to ensure we have a successful rally! I love the large sites and the awesome nature trails to walk my dog-who loved the dog park and pulled me there every morning so she can play! All in all we can’t wait to return! Thanks!!

I give them 5 stars! Consistent Friendly staff all around from reservations, to around camp, to check out. We stayed in one of the cabins, everything you could need except food. Gas grill and seating outside in private area. Generous accommodations. Easy parking in front of cabin, beautiful grounds, sorry we missed the pool season. We will be back next year in the fall!

I met Diane right at the start and she welcomed me with surprising Happiness! She made my stay at the park a great experience with her kindness. Jim was an excellent Host also. He greeted me and we had great conversations. He was truly concerned about my stay at the park and made sure my stay at the park was a great one! Jim and Diane are the Best Hosts I have ever met in 55 years.

Cabin was very comfortable and well appointed.It was quiet and close to my sister's house so a great place to stay for our visit. A home away from home.

We absolutely love this KOA! Jim his wife and staff are so amazing and accommodating. They are always paying attention to all the campers and their needs with a smile on their face. We just got back from our 3rd year in a row camping durning the Halloween theme weekend. It was a blast everyday there is something for the kids and families to do. First night was movie and popcorn night they had the atmosphere perfect. It was a cold night so they had heaters out which made it so comfortable. The second day started with pumpkin carving, face painting, corn hole, bingo, and jump houses. And that's not all they had a tri-tip dinner and costume contest for all different ages, Including the pets! The kids all got to go trick or treating, then to top off the night they had a hay bail rides into the woods. Couldn't ask for a better time! On the last day they had a free breakfast for all campers. Best KOA ever if you ask me. Go check it out yourself you'll be amazed. Thank you Jim and staff
