PERFECT pretty much says it all. The staff is friendly, professional and helpful. They all go that extra mile to make sure everyone’s stay is WONDERFUL. The campground is clean and beautifully maintained. Jason, you’re AWESOME! Thank you for making our camping trip a beautiful memory.

Me and my whole family, my wife, my children, my parents, my sister and her family and my grandma, spent five beautiful days here. We celebrated my mom’s 60th Birthday on the 17th and the rest of the time enjoyed every minute relaxing and playing. It was definitely a great time and definitely a great place to get together and spend time with one another. Every staff member her was amazing!

Very sage quiet and felt welcomed I had to cut my stay short due to work bu I’ll definitely stay there again!! Want a safe environment where the people who run the camp really care for your safety!? Stay here 100%!!

My wife and our two kiddos loved staying in the deluxe cabin. My son who is three played on the playground every day and pool. This KOA is the best one we ever stayed at and it was run by a amazing family. Anytime I needed anything Jason was on the spot and was super helpful. We will definitely be back for more family trips here in the future. Thank you from the Delgado family

This was the nicest and cleanest KOA I’ve been to. Bathrooms were clean, smelled good and were spacious. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. They have everything you could need.

The staff was very friendly and helpful... went out of their way to reschedule on a short notice and then gave us a different site when we arrived to make sure our rig didn't hit any branches. THANK YOU

This KOA is one of the best. From the Friday night movie nights, to the ice cream socials and pancake breakfast you feel like family. Jim and Diana are the hosts and are very welcoming and friendly as is the rest of the staff. All the sites are well maintained as are the bathrooms, pool and playground. Nice dog area and forest walk are very nice too. Highly recommend.

We were asked by the owner to keep the noise down because the kids being too loud.(it was only 8pm) quiet time is 10:00pm. The next day we were told by a camper in another site to turn our radio down it was on volume number 3 wasn’t load at all. That was at 2:30 in the afternoon. Seems like everyone has to be quiet and can’t have any fun.

I am the owner and have not been on site for 3 weeks. According to everyone your kids were out of control and unsupervised. The fact that other campers had to speak to you should have given you a clue. The store was closed 2 hours a day due to staffing issues. Playground hours will not be changed.

Loved the Chili during the band on Saturday. The Bees � were pretty aggressive so I’ll probably stay in a cabin next visit during end of summer.

Yes, unfortunately this is the worst year we have had with Yellow Jackets. We do set traps out so let us know next time you have Yellow Jacket problem and we will do our best to help.

Great place! Some bad campers, kids pouring soda all over the playground so kids couldn’t play on the playground. Other than that, we had a great stay

We enjoyed the quiet, peaceful atmosphere. Because of the fires in the area, it was a little smokey and kept the number of campers down. The free ice cream on Saturday, and the free pancake breakfast on Sunday was a nice way to say thanks for being there. We'll definitely be back in the future.

This would have been our new favorite KOA, if not for bizarre requests from management in the evenings. Kids asked to leave playground at 7:30 1st night because owner had a headache. No cornhole at 8pm allowed 2nd night because owner was trying to sleep. Store closed majority of the 3rd day leaving us unable to clarify these issues with anybody. Disappointing to feel like our family was a nuisance

Phil, I am the owner and did not have a headache nor was I sleeping. To protect the kids, the posted playground hours are from 8am to dusk. Lot's of injuries after dusk. By the way there is a phone next to the front door. You could have picked it up at anytime for help.

It was great for us but not so great business. We were just about the only ones in the camp good. Nice and quiet. It was vert well keep.

This campground was beautiful. Our lodge cabin was super clean and well stocked. However we will not return to this KOA due to the fact they fabricate their own rules. Check in was a pain because of the sporadic office/store hours. Quiet time said 8 am - 10 am but really was whenever the owner wanted to go to sleep. Which was about 730/8 pm. I have never had seen a koa be so inconsistent.

Phil, I guess you are really trying to damage our business with 2 nasty reviews from the same stay. We do create our rules, it's our business! We are very short staffed and are doing our best. Phone is next to the front door for any after hour needs. In 3 days you should have figured things out.

Wonderful, friendly, accommodating staff. All facilities were extremely clean and well kept. We were evacuated from our home due to a wildfire and there was so much to do to keep our little ones occupied and having fun.

We actually ended up leaving early due to wild fires. Staff were fantastic and even gave us a refund! Love the campground and staff. Thank you.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The Dixie fire was 20 plus miles away and from day 1 it was traveling away from us. We had a minimal amount of smoke on 5 days. Otherwise it has been clear and beautiful.

Great as usual. I would say that this campground is the best we stay in every year. Relaxing, forest, quite, clean, beautiful. Camp host are the best. Suggestion to lengthen the step in the pool for us old folks to get in and out. Thank you for all you do.

Jim& Diana made us feel like family and were very welcoming. The relaxing atmosphere was perfect for our family. The deluxe lodge was as if someone placed a luxury hotel suite in the middle of a pine covered forest mountain. EVERYTHING was extremely clean - cleaner than any fancy resort we’ve stayed at. We plan to make this destination our new yearly family tradition.

Campsite was nice and bathrooms very clean the yellow jackets were terrible couldn’t even eat outside hosts are aware and out some traps out but didn’t see any effect — also the national park was closed - would have been nice to have been notified by the park before our cancellation periodCalifornia power shut all power off for the majority of our stay and we were not offered any refund

We have way too many reservations to try to determine and contact every camper regarding what's going on in the area. Often times we are the destination. Next time please check the local area for this sort of thing. Please do not expect us to call you over what's going on in the area.

Everything about this campground met or exceeded our expectations! The campground was easy to find and gave us easy access to Lassen Volcanic National Park, the personnel on site were friendly & extremely helpful, and our campsite was very comfortable! We would highly recommend this campground to others!

We absolutely love this KOA! Jim his wife and staff are so amazing and accommodating. They are always paying attention to all the campers and their needs with a smile on their face. We just got back from our 3rd year in a row camping durning the Halloween theme weekend. It was a blast everyday there is something for the kids and families to do. First night was movie and popcorn night they had the atmosphere perfect. It was a cold night so they had heaters out which made it so comfortable. The second day started with pumpkin carving, face painting, corn hole, bingo, and jump houses. And that's not all they had a tri-tip dinner and costume contest for all different ages, Including the pets! The kids all got to go trick or treating, then to top off the night they had a hay bail rides into the woods. Couldn't ask for a better time! On the last day they had a free breakfast for all campers. Best KOA ever if you ask me. Go check it out yourself you'll be amazed. Thank you Jim and staff
