We really enjoyed the relaxing stay with Jim and family. The place is very clean, yet rustic in the woods. They have designated kid areas and play areas for the dogs and lots of walk trails. The sites were set just right so that you could say hello to neighbors yet still have your privacy. We plan to return with our grandson. The store had a nice variety of items and reasonable priced.

Its our first time staying at a camp ground and in an RV and we liked it a lot. Very well maintained. Good play area for adults and kids. Clean restrooms, friendly staff. Owners on site and very understanding. Burney falls is 1hr drive and Mt lassen park is 15 min. OVERALL great place to stay and relax.

Clean, friendly managers, great children's area. Only problem was our closest restrooms weren't open for use. Otherewise fantastic location!!! Highly recommend!! Can't wait to go back!!

Great place to stay, staff is super friendly. Internet is slow but that's to be expected. I wish these places would offer faster internet though so I could camp during a work week. I'd definitely go again though!

We had a lovely site - staff were awesome. Facilities in always clean state. Night eyes /flashlight hike and tree swings were favorites! We will come back!

this is a nice park that is VERY family friendly. lots of things to do for the kiddos. the spots are very close together. I would have liked more room.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Julie, not sure I understand. You were in site 8. The site you were in is 42 feet wide by 70 feet long. On one side there is a privacy fence with that site RV 20 further, and on the other side the RV is facing the other way giving you complete privacy.

Have brand new fantastic WiFi. On your phone you can turn on WiFi calling. It works really well.

I felt the sites were squeezed too close together. Moreover, would have appreciated better WiFi - maybe utilize range extenders?

We liked how close we were to Lassen NP. I can totally understand why there weren't bushes to screen other campers from each other due to wildfire hazard. However, I felt as if I were in a fishbowl during the evening. We were in site #5. However, after a full day of driving to get there my husband was gleeful to be able to just pull in. We would certainly camp there again. Thank you

A full 5 stars. 6 if it were offered. We love this KOA. The office was closed when we arrived but a registration packet was waiting for us so check in was simple and easy. The location is spectacular; the sites are clean, level, separate, and unique. Staff is amazing.

Wonderful staff and lovely sites. Lots of nice walks. There was basically no internet and we couldn’t make phone calls. That was really a negative since we had issues to deal with requiring our phone.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Mac, the cell signal vary by provider, not our fault. You could have turned on Wifi calling. Additionally we have a cell extender up at the store.

The staff accommodated us when they discovered that the spot they reserved for us was not wide enough for our rig. During our stay, we had a wonderful time, and the crew was attentive to any requirements we had. We came to tour Lassen and the surrounding area and thoroughly enjoyed our time.

We stayed here two weeks ago on our way to Oregon. We liked it so much then, we booked a second night. So, of course, we stayed here on our way home also. The staff is so friendly, the grounds are meticulous and the bathrooms/showers are spotless. The location itself is amazing! Trees, birds, squirrels. So peaceful and inviting! Highly recommend!! We will definitely be back!!

This is a great park. The owners and operators are affable. There’s a lot for kids to do. In fact I’ve never seen another park that had so much for kids. There was some confusion about what I saw on the Internet as a price than what I was actually billed. So if you’re picky about that kind of thing make sure to call them and verify what the price is for the kind of site you want.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful. They are constantly cleaning and keeping everything up. While there we were under high fire danger and chance of power outages and they kept all campers updated. I would like to visit in summer when extra things are going on, looks like they do lots of fun things.

We had a great Time all weekend, that’s our best favorite spot to camp for the weekend, ALL of the people on staff are GREAT !! On a scale of 1 to 10. We give them a 200 . THANK YOU

Nice, spacious sites! The hosts care about their campers! Great base to visit Lassen Volcanic national park. Would highly recommend to anyone, either for a night or a week!

Everyone was friendly and welcoming. We only stayed one night but wish we stayed longer. The sites are clean and level. We will definitely be back!

Very nice park, clean and quiet with close proximity to Lassen volcanic National park and Burney falls state park. We had a great time exploring and hiking and then we were able to return to a peaceful and quite campground to rest up for our next adventure.

Great location, very clean facility. Well taken care of grounds with many outdoor activities to keep you busy. Sand volleyball, lawn games, tether ball, bird watching, cat eye night walk, dog obstacle park, swings and benches. Love this campground!

This is a great place to camp, trails to bike or hike on, friendly and helpful staff!! We motor home camp here many times a year and have never had a bad experience. Be sure to call ahead because weekends for full hookup sites fill quickly!!

We absolutely love this KOA! Jim his wife and staff are so amazing and accommodating. They are always paying attention to all the campers and their needs with a smile on their face. We just got back from our 3rd year in a row camping durning the Halloween theme weekend. It was a blast everyday there is something for the kids and families to do. First night was movie and popcorn night they had the atmosphere perfect. It was a cold night so they had heaters out which made it so comfortable. The second day started with pumpkin carving, face painting, corn hole, bingo, and jump houses. And that's not all they had a tri-tip dinner and costume contest for all different ages, Including the pets! The kids all got to go trick or treating, then to top off the night they had a hay bail rides into the woods. Couldn't ask for a better time! On the last day they had a free breakfast for all campers. Best KOA ever if you ask me. Go check it out yourself you'll be amazed. Thank you Jim and staff
