The Campground was super clean with really nice bathrooms and a clean pool. There was a mixup with our campsite when we checked in, so they quickly arranged for us to get into a different spot that was perfect. It felt more like glamping than camping! Very close to an entrance to Lassen. We will definitely come back again. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time, everything was clean and in perefect working order, the staff was very helpful and friendly. The grounds of Shingletown KOA are beautiful and there is so much to do for the entire family! We will definitely be coming back!

Loved it. Spent 2 weeks for the road trip from San Francisco to Portland OR then back. Ended up spending the extra day with this place. The staffs made this place the best compared to the other KOAs. Will be telling our friends and families about this place.

This is the best KOA we've ever stayed at. Large camp sites with great privacy. Tons of fun activities for the kids and family social events. a great pool. close proximity to Lassen National Park (which is definitely worth visiting for a day or two)!

Great facility with lots of extra fun features. Only downside was how closely campers are packed in.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Hi Ginger, we are confused, you were in site 16 with the site you were camping on facing an open area. The closest site to you would have been over 40 feet away.

One of the top camp sites we stayed in, the staff is excellent, they are on top of everything and they come by to check to make sure everything is going smooth and do we need anything. Great activities for kids.

Beautiful park in the pines. We had a huge pull through site. Friendly, hard-working staff. The laundry was immaculate which is greatly appreciated. We would definitely stay here again next time we're in the area.

Very clean, all staff very helpful and accommodating. Lots of staff. Beautiful forest area attached to campground. Great campground for kids! Hard to imagine a better campground to stay in! We’ll definitely be back!

Fantastic all around. Staff is awesome, friendly and ready to assist. The campground is well maintained, bathrooms were spotless and always stocked. Love our patio/premium site with nice outdoor furniture, grill, and open area. This is one of the quieter KOAs we’ve stayed, and you can often just listen to the trees rustle.

Such a clean and beautiful campground. Bathrooms were extremely clean ! Kid friendly with lots of games for the kids. My grandkids LOVED the pool and the rope swings in the woods. We wi definitely be back ! 5 stars for sure !!

I t was a great facility. The issue we had came when it got dark. Someone around us was smoking marijuana and bit stankvterriblw. We hadcti shut ourselves up in the camper and shut the windows. No sitting out and enjoying the fresh air, because there wasnt any.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

You shut yourselves in your RV because someone smoked pot for 5 minutes. I think you are exaggerating a bit. Next time let us know.

The maintenance and upkeep of the entire campground was the best I have seen of all of the koa's we have ever stayed at. The bathrooms were very clean. All of the spots are good size

We’d like to thank the owner’s and staff of the Shingletown KOA for a great vacation. All of the KOA staff were very friendly and willing to help. This KOA is a very beautiful, relaxing and great place to stay. The KOA is very well kept and the bathroom are very clean. Our party of 10 staying in a cabin, 2 RV spots and a tent site had a wonderful vacation.

This KOA is a 10 out of 10. The owners and staff show such much pride in the care and attention to detail and it shows. After one stay this KOA is number 1 in our top 10. Whew will be back. PS you can not beat the day trips to the falls and caves, amazing!

We really enjoyed this KOA. The sites are large, many with wooden fences to partially provide privacy. There is a fun walking trail with things to do to keep adults and children entertained. Staff is helpful and goes out of their way to help. KOAs are mostly good and you know what to expect. This one goes way above the norm!

This KOA was incredible. There was so much for the kids to do. The only negative was that there was no cell signal and horrible WiFi. It made working on the road very difficult.

My whole family enjoyed our stay at Mt. Lassen/Shingletown KOA. Check in was great. Friendly staff. Site was great, secluded and well maintained. We enjoyed the movie night w/ popcorn on the lawn area, Ice cream social, and countless activities at the park. We didn’t bring our dog, but he would have loved the dog park. Great location to explore Lassen National park and Burney Falls.

The owners and staff were the absolute best. We camped here with our son and family. Best time ever. The kids loved Movie night, ice cream, pancake breakfast and of course the pool.

We stayed 2 nights (2nd visit). Our only downside was we weren’t able to get a RV site with full hook-ups, but not so bad since you have a dump station we used on the way out. We love how clean your park is and how friendly and helpful your staff was...especially in troubleshooting our AC hook-up in a timely manner in significant heat! We would love to bring our children and grandchildren!

This is the nicest campground we have ever stayed in (and we have been camping for 40+ years!!). The staff are super helpful and everyone takes pride in the facility. It was a lovely stay and we hope to be back soon!

We loved the location and friendly staff. The family loved all the amenities ( to include pool, trails with swings) and games to play. The dog park was really clean and big.Wish we had more time to relax at the campground and not so much sightseeing, but I highly recommend Burney Falls and lava tubes nearby. Thank you KOA for our fun camping adventure!

It was an amazing stay. Office people were so awesome. Swimming pool was great for the kids. Dog park was the best we have ever seen.

We absolutely love this KOA! Jim his wife and staff are so amazing and accommodating. They are always paying attention to all the campers and their needs with a smile on their face. We just got back from our 3rd year in a row camping durning the Halloween theme weekend. It was a blast everyday there is something for the kids and families to do. First night was movie and popcorn night they had the atmosphere perfect. It was a cold night so they had heaters out which made it so comfortable. The second day started with pumpkin carving, face painting, corn hole, bingo, and jump houses. And that's not all they had a tri-tip dinner and costume contest for all different ages, Including the pets! The kids all got to go trick or treating, then to top off the night they had a hay bail rides into the woods. Couldn't ask for a better time! On the last day they had a free breakfast for all campers. Best KOA ever if you ask me. Go check it out yourself you'll be amazed. Thank you Jim and staff
