We just overnighted. This KOA is not up to the standards of other KOAs that we've stayed in. The roads are narrow and very hilly. Sites are mostly level and dry. Staff was OK. Store not great, and amenities minimal.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Nice clean park, quiet and peaceful. Could use some lights throughout, very dark to take dogs out at night.

Great pull-through sites for a quick overnight. Have stayed here several times while heading out on I-81.

The campground is in a great location , just if I-81 and the staff was super friendly. It looked fairly new. The sites were big and comfortable. Def. Recommend it. So lucky to have found it for the trip back north

This is one of our favorite stops on our south and return north trips! Super convenient to I81, staff is very friendly. The owners are constantly adding more opportunities for camping with thoughtful and scenic results. Well done!

The facilities are undergoing a lot of construction which will make them very nice when complete! In the meantime there was a lot of mud and ruts around. We look forward to coming back when the plans are finished!

We camped one night on our way from FL to MA. It was a relaxing, quiet perfect place to stop. I am such a fan of KOA's. I definitely rely on their consistency and friendliness!

Another good KOA, but the limited Wifi continues to be an issue. I would not expect a motel or marina to have "limited" Wifi.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our campground is in a very rural, mountainous part of Virginia. High speed internet is not available in our area. An infrastructure grant has recently been approved to try to bring high speed to our area but that is going to take some time. We cannot provide to you what is not even available to us.

Site 90 needs gravel/fill at the outbound end of site, wouldn't recommend a large unit in that site.

Clean sites and bathrooms. Pull thru site we had was level and in good shape. Our stay was brief but we enjoyed it and would come back.

I only use KOA campgrounds when I am desperate. I understand that all are driven by profit. Every KOA I have ever used has had campsites right on top of each other. I could almost reach out and touch the rv next to me! With that said, this one was clean and orderly. I had no interaction with staff at all as I arrived late and left pretty early the next morning.

This was our second time at this location. We love it. Staff are very friendly. Location is well maintained and clean. We look forward to coming back in the future!

The staff were great as always. They appeared to be working on their expansion efforts but noise was not a problem while we were there. The weather was terrible but they can't control that lol. The heater provided for our cabin couldn't keep up with the cold so we added a 2nd heater which made it very cozy in our camping cabin. Hope to stay again when the weather is nice.

Lovely property and very clean! Very disappointed with customer service. After traveling throughout the whole U.S.A (and continuing), and staying at numerous KOA’s as a member as well as a guest of friends, I am saddened to say that this KOA had the least friendly and talkative staff. I am also frustrated about the lack of communication about late checkouts and assuming I was aware of the penalt

Nice stay on our way home. Friendly staff in the office at check in. Clean restrooms and laundry (I would suggest having heat put in the second bathhouse).
