Very easy check-in, pleasant staff. BATHROOMS FANTASTIC, CLEAN, ETC.! Our assigned site was a tad short for my 23' TT, but doable. Location relative to surrounding attractions is terrific.

Concrete pads were level and in good repair. Appreciated the grill and furniture. It was freezing out. No problem ! Water pipe was warmed and insulated. Clearly a well loved property. PS - Homestyle breakfast at the Pink Cadillac

The deluxe site was excellent, check-in was easy, bathhouses were clean, and having a golf cart guide to our campsite was really nice. The game room was pretty messy and most of the game machines were out of order, so that was a little disappointing. Overall an excellent campground. I would highly recommend it.

We stayed three nights in our class a. great location to visit Natural Bridge. Easy check in, helpful with driving you to your pad....loved the chickens and goats....am sure it's even more fun when the pool and other amenities are open. All the water, electric and sewer hook ups worked perfectly. Overall, a great KOA to stay at...

All of the staff were very nice. Great location. Downsides: Sites are very close and just not very attractive. Also, our firepit was very small, tilted, and in poor condition, and the grate was wide spaced bars made out of welded rebar. Not very inviting to cook on.

Beautiful KOA. Pull thru Deluxe Patio site was perfect. Built in seating around the firepit, grass on site for the dogs, gas grill, double sewer hookups... and that's just a few of the great site perks. Location is great... make sure to visit the adjacent brewery/winery as well (bring your binoculars).

Beautiful location, excellent staff! The one problem we didn’t run into was the recent rain and the gravel road did not agree with our very large fifth wheel… Exiting the park had to be very deliberate and slow to make sure we didn’t get bogged down.

My rating would really be 4.75 if I could. The owners have continued their improvements to the park. The new "premium" sites are gorgeous and well worth the extra money. All of the staff that we interacted with were friendly and welcoming. The only continuing bugaboo at the park is their WiFi is poor. From talking to friends who stay there regularly this has always been an issue.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our campground is in a very rural, mountainous part of Virginia. High speed internet is not available in our area. An infrastructure grant has recently been approved to try to bring high speed to our area but that is going to take some time. We cannot provide to you what is not even available to us.

Campground is situated in a lovely spot with easy access from the interstate. Sweet area for a break while traveling. Our pups loved walking the paths. We stayed in a camping cabin which was very neat, and prepared for us despite an unanticipated late arrival due to delays. Would definitely recommend.

One of the BEST KOAs we've experienced! Set off the road up in the hills with beautiful mountain views all around. Sites were very well maintained. The new Deluxe Patio sites were truly deluxe complete with propane grills, table and chairs, built in seating around a firepit and spaced so you have plenty of privacy. Loved the chickens and goats. So peaceful. Recommend highly.

Very helpful, friendly staff. The site was excellent - level, concrete slap with picnic table and fire pit area with benches and a full-size gas grill. Will definitely stay there again when in the area..

We stayed in a cabin and the camp ground was wonderful. My only recommendation would be to update the game room games and the park for the children. The staff was wonderful and so welcoming and friendly and answered any questions.

Very nice campground. Level, concrete slabs, new polywood outdoor furniture at each site, new landscaping, immaculately kept. Bathroom facilities were very nice. Friendly, helpful camp staff. Would definitely stay here again!

The space was perfect, we were not crammed on top of each other. The only thing for improvement would be the game room, only because most of the games were out of order.

We only stayed for the overnight.They have done alot of work there.We had a large pull thru cement pad site with all full hookup bbq picnic table etc.Ez to get in nice and level .I look forward to going back

Sites are small and the layout of the campground and road were poor, staff was super friendly half the games in the game room were out of order, sites and perfect for a one night as you travel but as far as staying for multiple nights there really wasn’t much to do compared to other campgrounds my 8 and 15 year old girls complained that there wasn’t anything for them to do

And yet you renewed and stayed an additional night... Early March, when the temperatures are freezing, is a hard time to entertain tween and teen girls at a campground but we do have a basketball court, giant checkers, a playground, and TONS of local attractions.

We only stayed for one night, campground is 1 minute from 81 and easy to get into. Absolutely loved the free range chickens!! The goats were sweet too, would definitely go back!!

Used this as an overnight stay several times! Nice level sites so didn't have to unhook...furniture and grill onsite so don't have to get anything out. We are looking to come and stay longer in the near future! Staff is very nice!

We stopped for an overnight but the sites in the new section are large with concrete pads the length of the site. We want to go back because it's a great location.
