Absolutely the best campground we have stayed at. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They really treat you like part of their family. The grounds/ playground are clean, groomed and very well maintained. We Love this campground and can't wait to enjoy it again in the very near future.

lived in NB for about 10 years (left in 2011)- had no idea how amazing the KOA is!! Staff was over the top friendly, fun, and helpful. Entire campground was clean and fresh. Will ABSOLUTELY be back (actually already booked for the spring)!!

We stayed overnight passing through-managers and neighbors were lovely. Awesome friends to play with at playground for my son. Gorgeous river views and sunset. Will definitely stop back again.

We had a blast at the campground! Everything was nice and the views are amazing. We wish the ponds were a little bit more catching for the kiddos but it was a great time! The Halloween bash was so much fun! Definitely going to come back next year!

This is the first time I have stayed at this KOA. It is, overall, a very nice, clean, well kept and comfortable campground. The staff get greater than a 10. I have rarely experienced a more pleasant, caring group of folks at a campground including other KOA facilities. I will highly recommend this KOA to anyone who inquires.

It was nice to get back done to New Bern KOA. It had been awhile. The staff was outstanding. On check in the lady at the front desk was super nice and very helpful. The individual that escorted us to the site was outstanding also. We were a little crowded in our site. Didn't seem to have much room. I believe we were around the staff living area. All in all we had a nice time.

Enjoyed our camping cabin and walks to the river. The toilet/shower building was convenient and clean. The whole campground is very well maintained. This was an excellent location for the WRCC annual picnic. Thanks for accommodating us!

We picked the New Bern campground because of the availability of fishing within the campground and we will return because of the very friendly and helpful staff, the clean facilities, how near it is to surrounding beaches and New Bern itself. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and are already planning a return trip with family next summer!

This was our first RV trip and first time glamming. The New Bern KOA met all our expectations! Clean, accessible, and well maintained. We will be back!

The staff was very friendly. The grounds were well kept. The site was beautiful. However, the cabin furniture was dusty, the shower curtain was moldy, and the hair dryer smoked and burned when it was turned on. It also made a strange noise, so I unplugged it. Made me wonder about fire safety in a wood cabin with only one entrance/exit and no sprinklers.

It was great Pat and Robin went above and beyond with excellent friendly service. We were in spot 50 and it was awesome. Hope to make it back in the spring.

The employees were courteous and made us feel as though they really were happy we were there. They answered every question we had. The place was clean and maintained extremely well. The washroom was clean and there was no trash scattered around. The washers and dryers were clean and appeared looked unused.

Super nice campground when visiting the New Bern area. We had a beautiful patio site with a view of the river. Everyone I encountered was very friendly. Will definitely be back.

The staff was wonderful, all of the facilities were clean and the campground itself was very nice with a great view. Kayaks and paddle boats were available and their was a nice pier. Outstanding experience!

We have stayed in KOA’s all over the USA. From Fla. to Montana to Maine to Arizona. The NewBern KOA is one of best. We drive 3.5 hours just for the weekend.

The location is absolutely perfect! The campground is very clean and the work/camping staff are some of the best we have come across. Just wish there were more activities considering that Halloween is upon us.

Rving for 4 years this is the nicest KOA park I've stayed in. Myra at check in was one of the most pleasant people I've ever met. Russ took us to our site and was so helpful in parking. Spotless facilities, well maintained grounds, and gorgeous setting made us wish we could have stayed longer than a week. Even though we live on the other side of the country, we will return.

We were able to add a day that became available after our original booking which was fantastic. The grounds were beautifully kept and the people were so sweet. While there were plenty of other campers we felt comfortable with the amount of space and activities available. This was our best camping experience by far. We look forward to returning to New Bern.

Props: Restrooms were clean & office staff was nice. Cons: dog poop in the street & staff not concerned when informed. Park was not quiet day or night. Camper's were partying till 1:am and no staff did anything to stop it. A kid on a bike was riding fast & reckless through the park running people off the rode & Staff did nothing to stop him. Tree dropping acorns on my rig was loud. Needs c
