Such a beautiful campground right beside the Neuse River! Our roomy cabin overlooking the fishing pond was clean and comfy. The staff and other guests were so friendly and helpful! We visited Atlantic Beach on day 1, the Pepsi museum and historic New Bern on day 2, with delicious nearby restaurants each day for lunch. Dinner is for grilling!

Could not have picked a better place to stay for our 11 days in New Bern. Had never been there but were extremely pleased with the friendliness of everyone we encountered and totally enjoyed finding out about the North Carolina rich history. Our KOA accommodations were 5-star and beautifully run. Thank you so very much. It was a nice respite and almost everyday was a day trip to new adventur

Every time we stay at New Bern Koa, it just seems to get better and better, the staff is so responsive, the manger Robin has been the best additional to an already great place. We can not wait to return to see what new things they have inshore.

You have an exceptional facility! And an exceptional team! The facilities were immaculate and very comfortable! We enjoyed the cabin very much! The staff is so friendly and courteous and we really appreciated that! Should we come to New Bern again we would definitely they're staying at the New Bern KOA!

Our 1st stay at this location earlier in March was fantastic, minus some late-night screaming coming from a group of children who were not being properly supervised. This visit was less memorable and has caused us to seek out additional KOA's. This is extremely sad for us as we had planned to reserve at least two trips a month throughout the warmer months and perhaps even during colder times.

I always enjoy staying at New Bern KOA. It's quiet, peaceful and has an excellent staff! I always leave with peace of mind. The grounds are well kept and the cliental are friendly. I can't wait to go back!

Nice clean, quiet campground. Plenty of staff making rounds. Helpful staff. Well stocked store. Used the bike rental, purchased firewood and did a lot of walking and fishing. This campground was recommended by a coworker. We will visit again and recommend to others. Thank you for a great family oriented weekend getaway outdoors.

We had a wonderful time at the New Bern KOA! It was our first time and have found a forever place to stay all across America! Kudos to the staff here for being so friendly and going above and beyond on our stay to ensure we felt at home!

I was in town buy a house. Unfortunately I had to bring my dogs with me. The facilities were very nice and clean. The campground was well kept up. The weather as cold but the cabin was comfortable. I was impressed by the text warnings that were sent out warning of high winds and freezing temperatures. That was especially helpful for those in the campers. I would recommend this campground.

I enjoyed the cabin very much and the location was great, however, the cabin became very chilly at night, even with a small heater wall unit. The heater does not regulate the heat well, and comes on and off during the night, many times, my little 6 yr old girl became very cold, even with a blanket on, The showers were cold at night, waiting on manager to call me.

Except for the horrible cold and rain, it was a wonderful way to spend the weekend. Hubby and I weren't able to take advantage of all the sights and amenities of the campground (due to rain) but spent time with our children and grandchildren also camping in other part of the grounds.

Clean short term side of park and clean store hut too many full timers with messy places. Also, not a good place to stay if want tranquil and peaceful… but if you have small kids and let them scream and run wild, this is a good place for you.

It was clean, well appointed, the mattress was very comfortable, the price was perfect, and the staff I interacted with were very friendly. I struggled only with the train, as I am a light sleeper. Even still, I highly recommend this location.

We arrived after the front office had closed, and the grounds accommodated us by leaving our keys at the front. Check in was very easy, the cabin was spacious, clean, and well stocked with kitchen supplies and even k-cups. Overall the grounds were beautiful and everyone we talked to was super friendly and accommodating. We will be back for sure!

It was nice and clean. The only thought I have is the store should stay open past 5pm, say around 7ish or have firewood out in an area where campers get more or need it and put on an honor system. Koa was nice, we will be back.

I have been a fan of this KOA for a long time, however, adding Robin and Dave to the management, I believe was the best decision that was ever made! Hands down the best, well organized and respectful people. We stayed in a cabin this time around and it was perfect. Not 1 issue. thank you NB KOA! See you soon

Very clean and well taken care of. Employees were friendly and helpful. Our only complaint is the mattress. It was very uncomfortable and seemed smaller than a normal queen size bed.

This has been the best campground stay ever, and I have been with KOA for 4 years. The cabin was clean and very well stocked. The grounds were in excellent condition and the staff fantastic. If you are in the New Bern area this is the place to stay. My husband and I will definitely stay here again!

The New Bern KOA is exceptional. Not only is the campground itself SUPER nice but being on that gorgeous Neuse River is fantastic! Aside from that, the employees really stand out.....namely Becky and Amy.....so likeable! Becky stopped on several occasions to see if we were in need of anything and readily answered all of our New Bern questions. She is truly a gem!!!
