We had a great time! The camp ground is clean and the staff is really nice and very helpful. They make you feel welcome.

Had a very nice stay at the New Bern KOA. The staff was very pleasant and very helpful. The campground was very clean and we enjoyed having the nice patio furniture at our site. Will definitely come back. Our entire group had a great time during their stay.

Very vice campground. My only recommendation is that the KOA should maintain their catch & release fish ponds with more water…..very low water levels. Secondly, should stock their ponds with fish. We camped next to one of the ponds for 5 nights and never saw anyone catch a fish.

We enjoyed our 4 nite stay. Whole campgrnd very clean and well maintained as were the bathhouse and restrooms.. The staff from the office to the escort to maintainence were very friendly. I especially appreciated the extra help that Pat provided when I needed assistance getting the cable to work on my tv.. The waterfront is lovely and the sunset was gorgeous. Would definitely return.

The grounds & facilities were in good shape. Was a good location for the sightseeing we wanted to do. We don't appreciate having to pay higher rates for services we don't receive. We don't participate in the activities since we are sightseeing. For that reason, if we can find another campground at a cheaper rate (ex: state park or COE) then we go there.

Wonderful people, very well maintained park. Nice amenities for kids, pets and water activities (except swimming). All went well, the biggest issue we had was the size of the site. Granted, we were in the standard sites but when open, my awning was hanging over the edge of the next sites gravel. It was like 4 steps from my rig to the neighbor. So, I like the place but take a deluxe site.

We have camped for 7 years and have never been "led" to our site. Then he backed me in and asked if we were familiar with the hook ups. First class operation!

The restrooms were in great shape. Outside staff were great too. Inside staff very rude to my husband. Pull thru sites are very close together and have huge areas of sand and gravel instead of grass or concrete. Very little landscaping throughout the park, but neat and tidy. Cute pond and nice area by the river.

Excellent campground. Clean rest rooms and showers. Water pressure in showers is amazing. Staff picks up trash at site through out the day. Roads flat and well maintained. Our site was level. Quiet, away from highway noise, but there is one train per night

This is a very clean and well laid out campground. Lots of activities for kids and adults as well. The staff could not be any more accommodating and helpful. We will return in the near future to fully explore the town of New Bern .

We came here for the Mum Festival and had a great time. I really like this campground because it’s on the neuse river and I can fish and kayak. This KOA is kept spotless and everyone is super friendly. I recommend it to everyone.

The new back-in sites were not good. We were in 103 right next to the road. It was very noisy & hard to navigate. Fire rings were so close to neighbors we could not use or move them. The gate at the end of this row was always locked. The site was also very far from the bathrooms/showers. We were not told about these new sites until we arrived. Love this KOA & will return but not to that new row.

We camped next to our son and his family and were very happy with our sites. Next time we would try to reserve his site and the one next to it on the opposite side so that our doors would face each other. Except for this change, we were completely satisfied with our site. The fishing in the ponds was not very exciting, but there is the river pier available, also. It was a great trip.

Very clean campground and well taken care of. Roads are paved and sites are level and nice packed cinder with grass. Staff is friendly and helpful.

We loved being right by the playground however it was hard getting into with the vehicles parked on the sides. If we stay again, we will consider pull thru sites even though we loved being right next to the playground and jump pad.

We had a campsite facing the river and the area and grill were clean. It was so relaxing and the sunsets were wonderful. The KOA location is convenient to both a grocery store and the New Bern downtown area which has shops to explore and numerous restaurants. If you pup is along with you the downtown area has many restaurants that are dog friendly which we appreciated along with our pup.
