We have a big yellow fence & sign out front. DO NOT USE GPS! GPS will run you down roads that are not RV & travel trailer friendly!

Much like Christmas into Mardi Gras, our party/parade/festival season doesn’t end at Mardi Gras. Just how we roll right from Christmas to Mardi Gras, we also roll from Mardi Gras right into St. Patrick’s & St. Joseph's celebrations.
Here in New Orleans, we don’t just celebrate one day for St. Patrick’s Day or St. Joseph's Day & we don’t just have one parade. We celebrate with parades, festivals, block parties & altars for the entire month of March! Sometimes, Mardi Gras overlaps with St. Patrick’s/Joseph's & parts of them run simultaneously!
New Orleans is a city that loves to celebrate! We love to throw on a good costume or dress over the top festive & go from one holiday/party/festival/parade, to another. Many people don’t know that our parade season actually starts in October with our annual Halloween parade. Many people also don’t realize that every parade we have is just as big, lavish & over the top as our Mardi Gras parades are. So, we start in October, with parties, festivals & a huge parade, for the entire month of October, for Halloween. Every house & business here is lavishly decorated & it’s nothing to see New Orleanians walking around for the entire month in Halloweens costumes & festive gear. From that month, Thanksgiving & Christmas is combined. We have Christmas decorations & festive gear out & up, but still have a Thanksgiving parade & events as well. Christmas has its own massive parade as well. Christmas rolls all the way to 12th night, Jan. 6th, which then kicks off Mardi Gras. Mardi Gras goes right into St. Patrick's/Joseph's, which runs right into Easter. Easter has our last big parade of the season, because we then run straight into Jazz Fest. Those take us into May. We then run from one summer festival to another. Each one of these holidays & festivals, see every house & business here lavishly decorated. It also keeps New Orleanians in costume or festive gear most of the year. It literally is one big party after the other, all year. There is no city like New Orleans in the world!!! No city goes from one party to another all year, like Nola does.
At the heart & soul of our city is a people that love life & love to have a good time & celebrate everything! We even have parades for funerals!
Moral of the story is, there is never a time in Nola, that there isn’t something going on!!! Right now, that something is St. Patrick’s & St. Joseph's festivities!!! Just as you’ve never experienced anything like Mardi Gras, you’ve never experienced St. Patrick’s/Joseph festivities the way New Orleans does them!!! Come see what the fuss is all about!!!
