Nice park. Love the tall mature trees. The store has a nice variety of souvenirs.

We arrived and were immediately greeted warmly by the evening attendant. He guided us into our spot, provided information materials, answered any questions and followed up later to see, if anything else was needed. The restrooms and shower facilities were clean and secure. All of our expectations were exceeded. This will be our regular camp home on return visits to NOLA, which are frequent.

The staff was friendly and the spots were clean. But nothing really special about this KOA. It's a good location to use for exploring New Orleans, but it's in a pretty rough neighborhood. I was surprised that it wasn't gated and anyone could just walk in. But it worked!

Campground is not kept up. Road have many potholes. Long term guests allowed to tarp older trailers from rain. Very loud trains, gun fire, screaming in the night. Was not peaceful at all. Staff very friendly and helpful when asked.

Small park but nice and clean. Laundry facilities were very nice and clean. Fairly close to stores and dining. Pretty far away from French Quarter but that’s alright.

Very small, they road in the park needs some work potholes, could use the workers that were standing in the store to fill them and the young boy might be the owners son? I am guessing because he certainly doesn’t have guest service. His attitude says I am only doing this because I have to. All sights are back in and paved. Still had to go up 3 inches in the front so not level. Pool closed?

I liked the full and level concrete pads the constant train horns are a nuisance and the gunshots at night were unnerving

We were using this KOA as a base while we visited the New Orleans area for two days. We stayed 3 nights with our fifth wheel. Spots are a little tight to back into but KOA personnel helped us to back in easily. We didn’t use any facilities. We had full hookups. Nice, paved, level pads. Would stay here again. Follow the directions to get there, as show on web site and not the GPS.

I stayed in a tent and appreciated the wooden fence in between lots. Stinky bathrooms, but visibly clean and always available when we were there. The guy that checked us in late was really helpful.

Great KOA Park - Staff was helpful and very friendly! Love the location close to Mississippi levee so can walk or ride bikes! Close to downtown area and sightseeing! Enjoyed WWII Museum, Oak Alley Plantation, Bourbon Street, Jackson Square, and viewing the fantastic architecture and artistic flare of New Orleans! Looking forward to our next visit!

Easy in and out. Follow directions from this KOA not your GPS. Train tracks are close and can be heard at all hours. We didn't mind. Close to French Quarter and Lake Pontchartrain.

For a campground that must have nearly 100 spaces you would think that the facilities would be top notch, but while the restroom was clean, freezing cold showers ruined the whole experience. Why was there no hot water? There was no sign or indication of any kind as to what was up with the lack of hot water when I tried to shower before I left. Other than that the rest of the stay was okay.

Good place to stay when visiting New Orleans. Did not enjoy the trains nearby.

Very disappointed that there was no mention of not being able to have a fire at your location. If it is a city ordinance then that should be something that you tell people. Seems like a trick to get me to stay when the person tells us when we check in that he has had people not stay because of it. And then we see some sites having them. Very disappointed and it's not okay.

Great place to stay! The grounds are neat and clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. I'll stay there again for sure. You may see reviews about the neighborhood location. It's “in town” but is fine, and you can't tell while your in the park. The shuttle service is supposed to be running soon. We drove (our dually truck) to the parking lot at the Hop-On-Hop-Off bus tour/city transportation (I highly suggest it for getting around town all day), basically at the French Quarter. Use Williams Blvd from I10 to get to the campground (most room/height for pulling our 40' 5er).
