People were friendly and helpful. They had a Fire truck for people to ride around the campground and hay bail trailer. They drop plastic coins on the ground for the Kids to find and trade them at the office for candy. Bathrooms were spotless. Close to town and they offer a shuttle for people who don't have a car to get into town. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

The campground is neat and clean. We especially liked being greeted by Bubbles! He guided us to our site and showed us around. Bubbles is a gem.

The entire staff was so nice and friendly. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Our kids had a blast!

I thoughy it was illegal to dump gray water on the ground. It looked like a nice campground except for that. The charge for a full hookup that did not include sewer was high.

It is legal to dispose of greywater in galleys at the site in CT, which is what we have. You did not dump it on the ground, nor do we advertise full hookup sites. The dump station was on the way out, and on busy days we have an attendant at the dump station assisting to speed things along.

Staff very helpful, especially Bubbles! Great location across the street from trail to Rocky Neck State Park. Would definitely visit again!

We stayed the night August 30 on our way to Maine. The bathrooms were a disaster then and there was no improvement upon our return trip. The staff is friendly enough, but, not very efficient. Firewood seemed to be far more important than toilet paper or the bathroom sanitation over all. I have always enjoyed KOA camp grounds, but, I'm shocked that this makes the grade to be called one.

This time he left out the fire truck complaint, but as some guests have realized, the worst thing you can say about a campground in awful bathrooms. we haven't camped in 8 years this was our maiden voyage with this camper and we were very happy with the camp ground. We were very happy with the staff Bubbles,Chris,John and Dan extremity helpful. we plan on returning hopefully this season

Our site might as well have been in the middle of a highway, it was so loud and busy all the time. The bathrooms were always dirty, out of paper and the trash overflowing. Not the usual standards from a KOA. Very disappointing.

We explained the location of this site being near the office BEFORE we took your reservation as this was KOA VKR appreciation weekend, and we were full. Kind of ironic on the weekend we appreciate you, the guest with a FREE night, you trash us. Bathrooms are cleaned daily and spot-checked often.

Customer service was the best of any KOA we have stayed at. I absolutely loved the attentiveness of the staff. I only gave it a 4 vs a 5 because not having a pool is the only negative— I understand the beach shuttles are great but would love a pool so we don’t have to leave

Free Newspaper every day who does that these days? They deliver your firewood if you ask and they will start a fire for you if needed. .The Fried dough was delicious. Lots of Activities for our granddaughter and friend to do. Firetruck rides, The best part they are within walking distance to Rocky Neck Beach. When you leave they will empty out your tanks. A Great Place to Camp! .....THANKS JOHN

Our first time camping with our new to us RV. Very helpful people running the campground. Lots of things for kids to do. Really near Rocky Neck state park Bathrooms were clean.

Workers friendly and will see to your needs. We were given the wrong site and they made it up to us said they would not charge us for the site.

Children with running around without mask all over the place on the slides on the swings was unable to let my granddaughter on them

Children without masks outside where they can socially distance is perfectly fine. If you had read the COVID information you would have known the playground was being monitored and only used by 1 family at a time so no need for masks. We offered many socially distant activities for the kids.

Restroom facilities are atrocious. The women’s side at one point had no toilet paper and 2 of the 3 toilets did not flush. Even the next morning after the posted cleaning time was 11PM to 12AM there was only 1 roll of toilet paper. It appeared the people were crawling under to get the toilet paper. The garbage was constantly overflowing. The toilet trailer needs to be hauled off and replaced

Simply asked this gentleman to please slow down- the posted speed limit is 5 mph. I hope this made him feel better. Please read other reviews about our bathrooms; most are positive; although we are not perfect, they are not this bad.

Quite narrow site, between seasonal sites. I would choose a drive-thru with space. Neither of our neighbors were there but many seasonal sites could use a sprucing-up. I'm sure it would be the same for us if we did it that way!

On our first stay, August 30th, the men's and women's bathrooms were out of toilet paper and filthy. We are here for our return home stop and there is no improvement. After dinner they run around the campground with an old fire truck blowing the air horn and siren. Scaring the devil out of our dog. Never again.

Never again was short with this guest as he was back in 2 weeks and trashed us again. His true complaint was with the fire truck, and we adjusted for him, but that wasn't enough. In the choice between happy kids and an unreasonable camper, the kids win every time.

Over all the stay was fine, our only complaints would be that the bathrooms weren’t cleaned as regularly as they were listed to be, and also the fact that a fire truck goes through the grounds blaring it’s siren 3 times a day. It was a bit disruptive of an otherwise peaceful weekend.

We stayed in a glamping cabin. We were escorted and shown all the features. Bathroom and dishwashing station were close by. Bubble and John were always driving by, waving and making sure things were good.

Had a wonderful time the personnel was very helpful and absolutely accommodating. Would definitely recommend a stay at that campgrounds.

Great staff as with most KOA. This is not a recreation type site but was great for an overnight quick night. Lots of traffic noise but clean and safe.

We had a great time. The office was very helpful, finding us 3 sites together. The kids loved Bubbles and the coin hunt was a great way to keep them busy while the adults relaxed.

Friendly people. Spacious site. Shady. Nice amenities. Right across from a trail that leads to Rocky Neck beach. A few issues, stepped in dog poop and large clumps of dog hair on our campsite. Very busy and loud road with a package store right behind our site. Maybe a different site further in at this campground would have been quieter...

The workers and owners make me feel like family. They are always so helpful and friendly and if you have any kind of problem at all they are happy to jump in and help you out. I highly recommend this KOA. Come be part of the family.

The only problem I had was with guests letting their dogs out, off leash to roam the park and poop anywhere they want and not pick it up. I’m a dog lover and have a dog traveling with me and NEVER would have it off leash no matter how well trained she is. They are still animals with animal instincts and if they come across another dog with conflicting energy, they will fight.

This was our 2nd stay at KOA Niantic. We will definitely be back. We absolutely love the campground, the level sites and most of all the staff. John, Bubbles, and everyone go above and beyond to make sure you are happy and have everything you need!

Great Labor day weekend with family! A lot of activities to keep the kids busy. The coin hunt was a huge hit with our site and kept the kids busy for hours! Staff was consistently friendly and helpful! We can't wait to go back!!

We were here for 3 nights and it was wonderful. The staff is helpful and friendly, Bubbles is a hoot and everyone went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay. The shuttle into town was such a nice treat, The laundry facilities were clean as were the bathrooms. I would recommend this campground wholeheartedly.

We have come her for a month, two years in a row. We love it here. It has a homey feel and has many great activities and restaurants in the area. The campgrounds themselves are decent but the service and homey feeling is what keeps us comings back. The staff are super friendly. They are constantly working, but always spare a moment to wave, stop for a quick joke, or just see how things are going. The owner, John, helped us out greatly this year. At the start of our stay we encountered a massive amount of rain, to the point of us being unhappy with our site (the dogs would track mud into the camper and we were cleaning the floors every few hours.) I asked John if we could move to a different site and he proposed that he lay down gravel to build us a patio and stop us from tracking mud into our camper. The campsite has some strict rules about driving speed and noise, but that's what makes us enjoy it here. We can walk our dogs without the fear of someone speeding down the roadway, and we can watch late night TV by our fire without hearing a large party. Essentially, be a respectful neighbor and you'll have a great time here. We're thinking about booking this as a seasonal so that we can spend more of our summer down at this KOA!

We have been traveling all month, staying at mostly KOA campgrounds. This is the nicest place, with the best experience we have had so far. Several times a day they let kids, and adults, hop aboard a fire truck and do a little tour of the grounds. We also had a free shuttle to local places. That is a huge relief, especially when you don't have a car with you and Uber doesn't come to your area. I hope to visit soon.
