Friendly receptionist. Helpful staff. Clean campsite and bathroom. Only issue was just one trash barrel already completely full.

We just made a quick stop over in our SUV camper. Showers were warm and the campfire was good! It was a good place for us to prepare for our very long day in NYC. Also, Bubbles was an awesome host, incredibly nice, energetic, and an overall Grade A guy. Thanks for making the short stay one of the best on our trip!

For all the camping we have done this has been the best of all. With all the activities and extras it was an experience our granddaughters will forever remember, and there will be more memories to make here at Niantic KOA.

The ladies in the office were great and so friendly! And Bob was so kind and helpful bringing us firewood and ice! It was an extremely hot weekend and my boyfriend's first time camping but we still had a nice relaxing time! It would have been nice if the bathrooms were a bit cleaner but we will be back!

Great location, have daily parking for local beaches, campground team is very friendly and flexible. Also fire truck rides and other kids oriented activities are excellent. Firewood is delivered to your site with addition of fire starter. We enjoyed with 3 and 12 year old boys tent camping.

Very run down camp.Some of the service people very unpleasant. I do not recommend this place for a vacation!

We had 14 of us for a family vacation. KOA staff went out of their way to make our stay fun! The kids had a blast and so did the grownups! Thank you to Bubbles for the wonderful hospitality! I promise to never call you that again! Thanks again for an awesome family vacation! We will be back again! The kids loved the rides, the playground, and the coin adventures!

We really had a wonderful time, all of the staff were wonderful. The grounds were clean and spacious, it is clear they have made some really nice improvements. The kids loved the firetruck rides and the activities, we are very much looking forward to next year's improvements and will be making this trip a yearly thing for our group.

Very friendly and efficient staff. Everything was very clean if not a little run down. So close to the beach we had a great stay.

Bathhouse were very dirty. Trash was not dumped for many days. Noise ordinance was not enforced wi/h loud campers well into the night (past midnight) over the weekend. The campground felt more like a mobile home park than a campground. Many, many permanent trailers. Chickens roaming around freely. Hard to sleep past 5:00 am with chickens and highway noise right by your tent. Would not recommend.

Nice place to stay. It's nice to see they have lots for the kids to do. Very helpful staff. One down side is its very bright at night, the lights @ check in building could be pointed down more or less watts.

The personal and owner are great the site is great However the cancellation policy should be updated based on weather conditions we made reservation on Memorial Day we couldn’t go be cause of the weather and we did get our money back I call 4 times and no one is listening. Fourth of July the same thing the owner did offer two nights for later on but it was too late we were already there.

The showers are disgusting and need renovation. The lot boundaries are not very well noted or communicated. I'm sure I am not the first nor the last one that they asked to move. They take no responsibility for their lack of communication and blame the camper that they don't know where the lot boundaries are. There are any number of ways to note where boundaries are, choose one.

We can see you are doing a lot to improve the campground. However,messy seasonal sites are a turn-off, bathrooms were messy on weekends mornings although you cleaned them at night. (great idea). Also, in our RV, we could not get around people who were dumping. Perhaps that area needs to be widened. Loved the shuttle!!!!!!!!!

pros: very nice friendly employees, great location to lakes, attractions, very quiet at night with employees riding around on carts until 10/1030 at night, wood and ice delivery by employees very quick. Our tent campsite was in a great spot set back from others in the wooded area. cons: location needs updating and bathrooms needed to be cleaned better and/or more often

My first time camping (luckily, my boyfriend is experienced) and I was a bit nervous. However, this experience was AMAZING!!! I never understood the word relaxing until this past weekend. The staff were great; friendly, welcoming and accommodating. From having to change our original site, to delivering firewood and grate for the fire pit, to helping us book a site for next weekend… all smiles!

We love this place! There are so many activities for kids, the beach is wonderful and the staff is very friendly and helpful! Special thank you to John for taking care of us. We are coming back multiple times throughout the summer and recommending to all our friends (this time brought 4 more separate parties with us). Feels like family here. Thank you!

Everything's was absolutely perfect, the kids had so much fun hunting for coming and sluicing for gems. We cannot wait to camp with you guys again, might be sooner than later lol Thank you all for everything.

Great activities for the kids, bathroom cleaning need improvement ( lots of toilet paper on a floor and overloaded garbage) . Also would be nice to have a swimming pool. Tent area have enough threes to keep you in a shade during a hot day. Big shout out to the maintenance guy, John , who made our stay unforgettable. Overall good place to stay, will definitely come back.

I don't know how this place keeps their KOA franchise. Other KOAs I've stayed at were spotless. It didn't appear anyone actually cleans up the sites when someone vacates. And men on machines throwing dust everywhere twice a day was untenable. I would never stay there again!

Check -in was easy and most staff were very friendly. It was a cold and rainy weekend and there was no hot water in the bathroom near us. The roads need paving and someone was very rude yelling at us like children because we became confused and drove up the wrong way. The sites are also very close together. So much so that the group behind us had their car parked right behind our tent.

We were here for 3 nights and it was wonderful. The staff is helpful and friendly, Bubbles is a hoot and everyone went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay. The shuttle into town was such a nice treat, The laundry facilities were clean as were the bathrooms. I would recommend this campground wholeheartedly.

We have come her for a month, two years in a row. We love it here. It has a homey feel and has many great activities and restaurants in the area. The campgrounds themselves are decent but the service and homey feeling is what keeps us comings back. The staff are super friendly. They are constantly working, but always spare a moment to wave, stop for a quick joke, or just see how things are going. The owner, John, helped us out greatly this year. At the start of our stay we encountered a massive amount of rain, to the point of us being unhappy with our site (the dogs would track mud into the camper and we were cleaning the floors every few hours.) I asked John if we could move to a different site and he proposed that he lay down gravel to build us a patio and stop us from tracking mud into our camper. The campsite has some strict rules about driving speed and noise, but that's what makes us enjoy it here. We can walk our dogs without the fear of someone speeding down the roadway, and we can watch late night TV by our fire without hearing a large party. Essentially, be a respectful neighbor and you'll have a great time here. We're thinking about booking this as a seasonal so that we can spend more of our summer down at this KOA!

We have been traveling all month, staying at mostly KOA campgrounds. This is the nicest place, with the best experience we have had so far. Several times a day they let kids, and adults, hop aboard a fire truck and do a little tour of the grounds. We also had a free shuttle to local places. That is a huge relief, especially when you don't have a car with you and Uber doesn't come to your area. I hope to visit soon.
