This was our first time camping here. After reading some of the reviews we heard let the staff wasn't very friendly. That was not the case in our stay. The staff was very nice they even picked up our garbage and when we went to pump out the even pumped out our trailer for us. Outstanding service with this Campground will definitely come again.

We love camping at the KOA in Niantic. Everyone is so wonderful and they make you feel like family.

Our stay was fun, John was great and made us feel comfortable. He was checking on us making sure we have everything we needed. Staff were extremely nice, Definitely gonna stay again.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful. At the end of the day is my favorite when the workers go around in their golf carts and make sure your ok before they leave for the night. Also I stay in a tent but on several occasions I saw the staff help the campers with trailers assist dumping their waste (that's dedication) I made my first tie dye t-shirt at KOA!!!!!!!!

Great experience Everyone was very nice and helpful One upset was told my trailer we pulled down night early and was not slept in or hooked up would be $10, but they charged me $20

Our stay in the glamping tent was wonderful. They have thought of everything! Many conveniences in a beautiful wooded area. The staff were absolutely amazing & thoughtful, particularly Bob and John. Staff went above and beyond to provide activities for the kids and families. My 4 y/o son loved the fire truck rides, tractor wagon rides, collecting coins & cotton candy. Great local beach. Thank you.

Our children had so much fun, the coin scavenger hunt and candy exchange was a big hit. Great activities schedule a well. Thank you for making us feel welcome. We definitely will visit again.

Really nice place to stay and the staff is really great seems like you are at a 5 star hotel. John made our stay great, They really made sure every day if everything was ok. What more could you ask for. ��

The staff and the people that ran the campground were extremely nice people. Due to the COVID-19 they did their best to entertain the children. The downside the bathrooms were not clean and there was no where to cook outside

Thank you for staying with us and the nice words. We have increased the number of times that bathrooms are cleaned and checked, but we obviously dropped the ball during your stay, and I apologize for that. As for cooking, we have grill tops which we gladly loan for the fire pits. Be Safe.

This campground is in transition as noted by others however we were led to our site around a tight turn w a tree and parked next to a seasonal who had a 2-hour pump out session (not the norm but no one ever acknowledged the inconvenience and we had to go in the camper to eat from the noise and smell). Site lacked gray water sewer and was backwards for hookups though Bubbles was a great help.

I apologize for the pump out; we had no idea it was going to take that long as the guest had issues. That site is popular because it faces the back of the park and has all hookups where they belong. We must have dropped the ball when we escorted you to your site. Be safe

Pull thru site was long and fairly level with stone. Staff very helpful and friendly. TV reception was terrible. Many permanent campers that were run down and unkempt. Stayed only 2 nights because of no sewer hookups.

Thank you for staying with us and the nice words. If you are in the area again please remember we offer FREE onsite pumpouts to all guests staying 4 nights or more and with grey water disposed of at the site you will not have to worry about black water.

Can’t say much as we only stayed one night as we were passing through. Staff was friendly, campground was clean. Our site was very nice except for not having any sewer connection. We only had water, 50 amp electric, cable (limited channels) and grey water dump connection only. If you needed to dump black water you had to drive to the dump station. Overall it was a comfortable experience.

Really great campground. Facilities and campground are well maintained. The guys that delivered wood/ice were an absolute delight. Really helpful and cheerful. This is a fantastic place, I highly recommend it.

Overall the programming was great, kids love the coin game and rides. The campground seemed a bit dumpy with boat trailers and tarps on the ground in common areas. My biggest complaint was that EVERY interaction (7-8 over 4 days) with the front desk staff was horrible. They were rude and expected us to know the rules of the campground upon arrival. Every time we interacted they were nasty.

Every year it is a pleasure to return to Niantic KOA. The sites are pull through with 50/30/20 service. No sewer hook-ups but the staff is available for full-service assistance to dump and flush. The staff is wonderful (especially John). He continues to amaze me with his ability to remember us by name year after year. Hats off to this KOA for their superior customer service.

We spent a week here. Large level sites. Quiet and convenient to local attractions. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great time here. Almost everyone was very nice and helpful, especially John and Bubbles. The kids LOVED the coin drops and our site was perfect for our first time.

Fun for the whole family. Staff was very hospitable. Beach passes were a huge plus. The kids loved the coin hunt We had a great time and will be back in the future.

Never felt so uncomfortable at a KOA and we have been to many.

You made a reservation online for the max the glamping tent would allow then showed up with more people. The rules are for everyone and for safety. All that really matters to us is that your kids had a great time with all the activities and have no idea what you did or how you treated my staff.

Staff is not friendly at all! Bathrooms are not newly renovated at all! Grounds are in horrible shape! Should have just saved my money and stayed somewhere else on my travels through Connecticut! Will never be back! And will never recommend to anyone!

This camper was with the glamping tent that gave us the glowing review. He was upset that we would not allow him to stay in the glamping tent and had to rent his own site. Read other reviews I am very proud of my staff and my park.

We were here for 3 nights and it was wonderful. The staff is helpful and friendly, Bubbles is a hoot and everyone went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay. The shuttle into town was such a nice treat, The laundry facilities were clean as were the bathrooms. I would recommend this campground wholeheartedly.

We have come her for a month, two years in a row. We love it here. It has a homey feel and has many great activities and restaurants in the area. The campgrounds themselves are decent but the service and homey feeling is what keeps us comings back. The staff are super friendly. They are constantly working, but always spare a moment to wave, stop for a quick joke, or just see how things are going. The owner, John, helped us out greatly this year. At the start of our stay we encountered a massive amount of rain, to the point of us being unhappy with our site (the dogs would track mud into the camper and we were cleaning the floors every few hours.) I asked John if we could move to a different site and he proposed that he lay down gravel to build us a patio and stop us from tracking mud into our camper. The campsite has some strict rules about driving speed and noise, but that's what makes us enjoy it here. We can walk our dogs without the fear of someone speeding down the roadway, and we can watch late night TV by our fire without hearing a large party. Essentially, be a respectful neighbor and you'll have a great time here. We're thinking about booking this as a seasonal so that we can spend more of our summer down at this KOA!

We have been traveling all month, staying at mostly KOA campgrounds. This is the nicest place, with the best experience we have had so far. Several times a day they let kids, and adults, hop aboard a fire truck and do a little tour of the grounds. We also had a free shuttle to local places. That is a huge relief, especially when you don't have a car with you and Uber doesn't come to your area. I hope to visit soon.
