I would not recommend this KOA. We often stay at KOAs and they are great but not here. The place looks bad and the bathrooms are not nice. Don't be misled by their website, the walk to the state beach is long otherwise you need to either pay to drive into the state park or drive into town. We were in an RV and were supposed to stay all week but left after two days.

I am not sure what we did wrong here. They did stay the 7 days. Yes the state does charge to park. Yes the town beaches are 1.5 to 3 miles from the park. Yes we have free parking passes for town beaches. We are clear about ALL of this on our Website. The trail to state beach is a 20 min hike.

The campground was nice, with some great treats for the kids; fire truck rides, cotton candy, gold coin hunts, which could be redeemed for treats at the store. The staff about the grounds seemed relatively unconcerned with wearing masks though and the bathrooms were not particularly clean, which you might typically expect from any campground but was really distressing in Covid times.

We just want to say what a great time we had glamping! You all made the trip so remarkable with all the things you did for the kids. Fire trucks, coin hunt, wagon rides! My only complaint is men going into the woman’s bathrooms. Overall fantastic time. Thank you!

I love this campground. I like how the staff buzzes around on their golf carts making sure everything is ok. They are very friendly and willing to aid in any way. Can’t wait till next year!

Glamping tent was perfect for our girls only camping trip. Loved it. Perfect for a family of four. Bring your food, cooking supplies and cocktails and your all set. We were close to the dishwashing sink which made clean up easy and the grill with side burner was a great surprise. Definitely planning another trip. Just trying not to plan durning a heat wave. ;)

My sister and I loved the Glamping tent. The Staff was courteous and helpful. Overall a great night's stay.

The bathrooms needed repair. There was a broken shower handle in the women's bathroom and peeling paint in the men's shower stalls. The staff is friendly and helpful. Although there was no pool, the state park nearby and free passes to nearby town beaches more than made up for it. The sites are large and comfortably spaced and the grounds were neat. Overall a nice quiet campground.

Not a bad stay. The workers were more than accommodating. I can tell it is being fixed up and changes are happening. I just think it could have some more items in the store and the overall grounds modernized and freshened up! They were great with the kids! The people at the desk need to be a little more friendly and personable. It is a customer service industry. Overall not bad! Room to improve.

Very good weekend. Great check in, was escorted to the site which was a long level gravel site under several trees. A lot to do in the area including beautiful Town beaches. There was an employee who dumped my holding tank on the way out!

It is a baby KOA, Sites could use a bit more groundkeeping but they are well spaced... Didn't appreciate that the tent sites were right next to the trash. Also one of the ladies was kinda rude in the office in the morning but everyone else was super nice....

Location great. Water pressure terrible cable and wifi very weak.

I had a friend visiting from Australia, I decided to take her camping in my travel trailer. I didn't want to go too far from RI, I'm so happy to have stayed at the Niantic KOA. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We had a small issue at our site, I mentioned it to the office, when we returned from having an excellent day at the local beach we found a KOA bag with the makings for S'more's.

Great location, just off the highway, near the coast and super close to Rocky Neck State Park. Wonderful, fun and friendly staff

Our spot was perfectly shaded and big enough so that when we discovered out tent was too big for the sand pad we could put it on the ground nearby instead. Bathrooms were clean and nearby as well and all the staff was incredibly friendly. Our favorite part was the beach passes. Being an out of stater it would have cost us $40+ each day, but their passes saved us money and stress. We will be back!

Thank you for staying with us and the nice words. Although we only got a fraction of beach passes that we normally do due to COVID, we have been able to keep up with demand. Our town beaches are amazing, always clean, never crowded, and as you noted, the beach pass alone saved you $40.

Enjoyed our week...park very clean and quiet with the exception of the trash barrel at the dog park was not emptied during the week we were there.

We had a very nice stay. The only downside was being too close to a glamping site. The lights on the front are very bright at night.

This site was so nice and the staffs were so friendly. There are a lot of activities we can keep the social distance. My kids loved coin collecting activity. The only complaint thing was the beach pass. When we reached the beach with beach pass, the beach was already full. I thought we would need the pass more early time.

Good location. took us 5 minutes to ride our bikes to Rocky Neck Start Park (beach). Helpful/friendly staff. Escorted us to our site at night in the dark which was very helpful. Wooded site not so wooded and expected little more privacy but still ok. We will probably stay there again. Fire Engine ride is a good idea for the kids but the siren scares the heck out of my dogs.

Nice treed sites with enough room between them. Very friendly helpful staff. No pool or pickleball but beautiful Rocky Neck state park is nearby. Descent cable. Quiet at night.

We really really enjoyed the campground. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. It was our first time there, but it felt like we’d been there a million times because of how pleasantly we were treated.

Dirty bathrooms :( nobody was cleaning there for 3 days, stinky, bit very nice and helpful stuff!!! Boring Sunday, nothing to do for kids :(( I’ve been in better places with KOA.

We had a back in shady spot. It was right across the street from the State Park. We ran the trail and walked down to the beach and hiked. We were close to the road but there was not much traffic. The bathrooms were clean. The staff were all exceptional and so helpful. The seasonal campers were great and helpful. We are new to RVing and felt comfortable asking questions and learning.

We stayed for 4 nights with a camper. The site was clean and fairly level. Picnic tables and hookups. Bathrooms were dated and not as clean as some koa's I've been to. No pool but within biking distance of the ocean (Rocky Neck State Park). Didn't have a need to utilize the store. Friendly staff and email notifications for any charges.

Excellent stay, very friendly staff, very helpful with everything. Lovely site, quiet with trees, picnic table and fire ring. Only problem was with the internet, although we were able to stream netflix at night.

We were here for 3 nights and it was wonderful. The staff is helpful and friendly, Bubbles is a hoot and everyone went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay. The shuttle into town was such a nice treat, The laundry facilities were clean as were the bathrooms. I would recommend this campground wholeheartedly.

We have come her for a month, two years in a row. We love it here. It has a homey feel and has many great activities and restaurants in the area. The campgrounds themselves are decent but the service and homey feeling is what keeps us comings back. The staff are super friendly. They are constantly working, but always spare a moment to wave, stop for a quick joke, or just see how things are going. The owner, John, helped us out greatly this year. At the start of our stay we encountered a massive amount of rain, to the point of us being unhappy with our site (the dogs would track mud into the camper and we were cleaning the floors every few hours.) I asked John if we could move to a different site and he proposed that he lay down gravel to build us a patio and stop us from tracking mud into our camper. The campsite has some strict rules about driving speed and noise, but that's what makes us enjoy it here. We can walk our dogs without the fear of someone speeding down the roadway, and we can watch late night TV by our fire without hearing a large party. Essentially, be a respectful neighbor and you'll have a great time here. We're thinking about booking this as a seasonal so that we can spend more of our summer down at this KOA!

We have been traveling all month, staying at mostly KOA campgrounds. This is the nicest place, with the best experience we have had so far. Several times a day they let kids, and adults, hop aboard a fire truck and do a little tour of the grounds. We also had a free shuttle to local places. That is a huge relief, especially when you don't have a car with you and Uber doesn't come to your area. I hope to visit soon.
