Loved our Glamping experience. The only issue was the bathrooms we not very clean and smelled of urine. Perhaps cleaning a few times a day would be good. Mopping with bleach would be welcomed as well. Other than that it was amazing.

Everyone was so nice and welcoming, loved the tent sight-very clean. Loved the fire pit, bed was so comfortable and perfect camping with out the hassle of a tent!

Camp ground looks awesome! A lot of work has been done. Felt very safe while there. Everyone keeping distance and wearing masks. Was a great time with Sissy and Grand Children. Glad we were able to get to the beach for a few hours, learned a few grill recipes and have some laughs. We just love coming to Niantic! Thanks to all that make it happen.

All employees were extremely friendly, helpful. 5 tent sites are nice but the rest of the campground is kinda creepy....Lot's of RVs that look like they've been there for many years. Bathrooms were clean

We had a really relaxing week. It was nice to stay in a campground where the quiet times are respected, everything is nice and neat and the staff are friendly and helpful. I would consider camping here again.

Excellent clean place. Staff was very pleasant always asking if we need anything. Nice trail walk to the beach. Clean shower rooms. The men’s shower room has a timer, not the ladies. No pool, but overall we had a wonderful time.

Thanks for staying with us. The timers in the upper mens room are the last leftover from pay showers and will eventually disappear but they give a 15 min shower and can be reset if longer needed. Thanks for all the nice words, have a great summer and stay safe

Great location, great friendly service, fun kids activities, nice glamping tents. Bathrooms need attention, broken stall lock, wobbly toilet, broken shower door, jammed paper towel dispenser, broken screen door and a piece of broken trim left leaning against the wall all weekend? Get rid of LEDs on glamping tents they shine on the other campers trying to enjoy a campfire at night.

Thanks for staying with us over the 4th of July weekend. The bathrooms did take a lot of abuse this weekend for some reason but I thought our crew did a great job keeping up. The nearest sites to the glamping tent porches with the LED lights are over 70 ft away and we have never received a complaint. Have a great summer and stay safe

Disappointed because I booked a wooded tent site and that is NOT what I received. We were right on the entrance road and heard all the road noise. We didn't say anything because it was a holiday weekend but I wish I had because it was clear it was not fully booked. Also, we had no gravel pad to put our tent on as described when making the reservation. I just wish I received the site I booked.

I apologize for not living up to your standards. I did research your reservation and you are right you reserved a wooded site with water and electric. Unfortunately that week we were pounded with rain and we decided to close the section of sites you were booked in and moved you to a comparable site.

The staff at this campground are wonderful. The campground needs upgrades to its bathroom facility and should have full hookup sites. Also, a swimming pool is definitely needed since, not all guests can make it to the ocean everyday.

Super friendly staff, but the showers were left unattended. They were not even cleaned once July4-5th. And I did go to other locations on the site as instructed by the staff. The women I’m our party complained of feces being smeared on toilet seats and left overnight and during the day. I do not believe that a public restroom can be cleaned only once a day (10pm-11pm was posted) but not observed

Staying at Niantic KOA is like visiting family. We were treated so well, guests were too. That is so important. It’s an atmosphere of positivity and friendliness. We were never chastised for anything. Neighbors helped us put up our tent in the rain. Staff came by so many times to ask if we needed anything. Wood and ice is delivered right to you! The place is clean and landscape is great!

“Ocean across the street” was misleading. Far walk for flip flops and swimwear. Can have your pet stay at the campsite, but nowhere to keep your pet if you do go to the beach. Our campsite was “rustic” and just built the day before. We were charged full rate for a muddy lot. Would have been a better stay in my own yard.

Great location,so many things to go see and explore.We brought kayaks and drove everyday a short distance to amazing launch site.The campground isn't rowdy, nice sites ,very helpful staff, this is our 2nd time visiting, we love it and we will be back .......,

The campground was very nice as were all of the workers. It was a very pleasant experience. Although we do not have children, there were a lot of activities for all ages and We enjoyed the fire truck and wagon rides going by our site. Definitely will return.

We were at site 13 which turned out to be a flooded mess. It rained on Monday VERY hard and for a few hours and our site was flooded badly right at the front door of our camper. We left the following Friday and it was still a big mud pile. There was no drainage and no sun to dry things up. We told employees during our stay and at check out but they didn't seem to care about our inconvenience.

I do apologize about the site and you did mention it the night before you checked out. I walked over and after 4 inches of rain a couple nights prior it was too wet. This site was recently upgraded and was settling. We have now completed final repairs by adding a nice stone patio for dryness and drainage during any rain storm. I hope you come back soon to see the improvement, Be Safe

I am pleased to see the improvements made to some of the sites. Specifically, the permanents on the northwest side were grassy and large. The pull thru sites in the back were very nice with grass and an updated appearance. I would continue the improvements on the older sites in the middle. Full hookups would be nice too.

We will definitely be back. The campsites were excellent and we really liked the fire pit, grill, the tent platform and bench plus great open space. We did not explore the walking trails, but spent time at the Rocky Neck State Park nearby, which was excellent. The staff are super helpful and they spread coins all over the campground for the kids to find, which helped fill some of the down time.

This was my first time experiencing tent camping. I tell you, it was an awesome experience. I went with my wife and my kids. It was an unforgettable experience for them too. This place was immaculate, really clean bathroom. The staffs were amazing. Very friendly and attentive with their guests. John, Bubbles and Bod all were really nice to me and my kids. I highly recommend this place.

Wonderful campground with friendly accommodating staff. Very well kept and clean bathrooms. Speed limit and quiet hours are strictly enforced which makes all the difference in a peaceful camping experience. Hiking across the street and leads to a nice beach for fishing. Overall highly impressed and would definitely return for another enjoyable weekend getaway!

We had a nice time but things could have been better. An incident happened when a visitor tried to visit us but we weren't aware that visitors had to stop and sign in(there was no stop sign or sign to say this). A couple of employees got pissy and we weren't allowed visitors while everyone else were. We felt like they were keeping and eye on us and didn't put us in a grassy tent area.

I apologize that the site did not meet your standards. The no visitor policy is due to Covid 19 and is clearly stated on the website, your confirmation email, the email you recieved on the day of arrival and on the waiver you signed upon arrival. There is a sign on the gate instructing all visitors to stop at office and register. You also showed up with 3 more people and a pet not mentioned

First trip with our travel trailer and had a blast. John was amazing. Super friendly and helpful. Also great trash pick up and dump station service on the way out. Thank you!

Everyone was very helpful; staff was excellent. Very responsive, friendly, and great with the kids. Mine loved the coin hunting program - great idea!

The coin hunt is a great activity as is gets the kids out hunting for hours then they "spend" their coins at the coin store for treats. Its fun to watch them do the math and calculate the best return for their coins. Be safe

Group site had large patches of long grass and generally not level. Fire pit was right next to a tree and hard to sit around. No fire rings, unlike adjacent sites. Bathrooms were clean, but the site was too small for a group site and not maintained. Good if you have a camper/RV, not good for tents.

I apologize the site did not meet your expectations. I will check on the fire pit location as this is the first mention of a poor location. There is only one fire pit on the site as its a group site and we assume the group sits around a single fire at night. I disagree on the site size as its quite large and left open for each group to set up as they wish. Be safe

Nice campers, very helpful staff, restrooms were ok. Easy hike to the beach across the Street in the State park but bring bug spray, the deer flies were horrible in the woods.

Good advice on the trails as they are wooded and flies can be bothersome at times. When you reach the beach at the end of the trails the views make it all worth it though. We were here for 3 nights and it was wonderful. The staff is helpful and friendly, Bubbles is a hoot and everyone went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay. The shuttle into town was such a nice treat, The laundry facilities were clean as were the bathrooms. I would recommend this campground wholeheartedly.

We have come her for a month, two years in a row. We love it here. It has a homey feel and has many great activities and restaurants in the area. The campgrounds themselves are decent but the service and homey feeling is what keeps us comings back. The staff are super friendly. They are constantly working, but always spare a moment to wave, stop for a quick joke, or just see how things are going. The owner, John, helped us out greatly this year. At the start of our stay we encountered a massive amount of rain, to the point of us being unhappy with our site (the dogs would track mud into the camper and we were cleaning the floors every few hours.) I asked John if we could move to a different site and he proposed that he lay down gravel to build us a patio and stop us from tracking mud into our camper. The campsite has some strict rules about driving speed and noise, but that's what makes us enjoy it here. We can walk our dogs without the fear of someone speeding down the roadway, and we can watch late night TV by our fire without hearing a large party. Essentially, be a respectful neighbor and you'll have a great time here. We're thinking about booking this as a seasonal so that we can spend more of our summer down at this KOA!

We have been traveling all month, staying at mostly KOA campgrounds. This is the nicest place, with the best experience we have had so far. Several times a day they let kids, and adults, hop aboard a fire truck and do a little tour of the grounds. We also had a free shuttle to local places. That is a huge relief, especially when you don't have a car with you and Uber doesn't come to your area. I hope to visit soon.
