We enjoyed our stay at the campground. It is clean and staff was helpful. I realize it is still going through the transition into a full KOA facility but is on the right track! Keep up the hard work.

Presentation of front office could be improved. Not full hook ups. Laundry room could be cleaner. Camp site had left over small bits of trash from previous guests, i.e., pieces of wrappers, beer bottlecap, etc., nothing major, but still not as nice as other KOA parks. But, we would still stay there again.

We really enjoyed the vibe of those caring for this campground and loved the big trees and spacious camp sites. Also, great location. Niantic area was fun to explore & lots of yummy affordable seafood.

All of the staff are very professional and friendly. At night, the campground is very quiet so it is excellent if you need your sleep.

We love staying there. It's amazing how quiet the campground is for a KOA. We enjoy seeing all of the improvements each time we come back. Folks are friendly and very helpful and the beach pass is awesome! We hope to be able to spend a whole season there some day!

The campground itself needs some upgrades (such as a pool, mini golf or snack shack...something). However, the people who work there are absolutely wonderful! John went out of his way to check in on us and even emptied everyone’s tanks as they left. There are many seasonals there which aren’t in the best shape. We lucked out being near some which were and the owners were fantastic and frie

this is a great campground. my second time there. my only mistake was picking the hotest weekend of the year.the new area was nice. we plan to be back.

If more time was spent policing the old, run down, junky/cluttered campers rather than being told I was driving a little too fast or my neighbor being told not to cut through my camp site to the laundry (which I gave her permission), it could be a great "looking" kampground. Hospitality was excellent!

Overall great place to stay. Pros- right across from a state park that you can walk into. Very helpful helpful with rv/camper issues. Loved the beach pass. Cons- Not a lot to do at the campground.

The staff are very friendly. Nice spaces. However, there is no swimming pool and the showers were small and the bath house had no AC it was extremely hot when I was there. Amenities could have been better, not up to KOA standards. Great location. Hope there will be updates in near future.

The only thing that is lacking is a black water hookup. Staff is EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. There were chickens in the campground! They were quiet and it was fun seeing them there. This place is right off the highway but it wasn't noisy. We liked it!

This was my third stay at Niantic. I got there late Friday night, John and Bubbles were really helpful in getting me set up. I'm new to RVing and make a lot of beginner mistakes, the Niantic KOA staff are always so nice and helpful with set up and take down. I always recommend this campground to friends.

Stayed for a long weekend. Our site ( we have a 32’ travel trailer with 2 slide outs) was perfect. Staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Our only minor minor complaint was the location of our fire pit .... it was closer to our neighbors site than ours. Will definitely be back!

Staff were friendly there was an abundance of helpers to escort you. However the park did Have many activities planned everything was for a fee-based cost. There was no swimming pool no Jacuzzi in our camping site was filled with spiders the park needs to spray. So considering other camping grounds I would consider this one on the high end and they don’t offer much other than their location .

We were very happy with our stay with you. T he staff was very pleasant and extremely helpful at all times. Just wish that you had facilities for black water dumping at the site. We used your dump station and the area was very clean and easy to use. We would certainly come back at another time and stay longer.

People are nice. Poor roads. My spot was mud, no gravel. Not impressed.

waste water hook up for gray water only and it was plugged. campgrounds rents space to food vendor trucks and boat trailers. Ou view was ofa pizza vendor truck. roads were full of mud puddles.

I apologize for the confusion but we clearly advertise grey water hookups only at our sites and offer a free black water pump for those staying more then 4 days. Boat storage at a campground across from the ocean is normal and away from the campsites. Puddles are unavoidable after a downpour and the pizza trailer was one night as they traveled like you. The KOA Staff here was so nice. We had a low tire and they helped my husband with it. People were so nice and friendly. Great playground and bouncie house water slide. Awesome K9 park. Only draw back is couple permanent trailers were disrepair which made park a eye sore but I would come back again

A nice quiet campground. It is halfway between our home in MD and our family in ME. We appreciate all the work the new owners have done and look forward to the future enhancements. We definitely appreciated the dump station assist and we will be back.

The staff at this park were one of the absolute best. They are so service minded, they anticipated each and every need. The park was clean and the evenings were quite and relaxing. We will be returning in the future.

The staff were extremely helpful. We were taken back to our site and were even helped in setting up. Access from the interstate was easy and plenty to do in the area.

Great place, nice hosts, mellow campground. Stayed an extra night since it was so quite and secluded. Great food in area as well!

They have been making improvements that are obvious. Most sites are wooded the few that are not are at least partially shaded, much nicer than staying in an open field. Could use more activities for kids. Nice place to stay along ct shore. Staff is very friendly and willing to help whenever to make your stay better.

Need to have full hook-ups. Charging $15 for visitors when there is no pool and no other amenities that they would use is excessive. Otherwise, very nice campground.

We were here for 3 nights and it was wonderful. The staff is helpful and friendly, Bubbles is a hoot and everyone went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay. The shuttle into town was such a nice treat, The laundry facilities were clean as were the bathrooms. I would recommend this campground wholeheartedly.

We have come her for a month, two years in a row. We love it here. It has a homey feel and has many great activities and restaurants in the area. The campgrounds themselves are decent but the service and homey feeling is what keeps us comings back. The staff are super friendly. They are constantly working, but always spare a moment to wave, stop for a quick joke, or just see how things are going. The owner, John, helped us out greatly this year. At the start of our stay we encountered a massive amount of rain, to the point of us being unhappy with our site (the dogs would track mud into the camper and we were cleaning the floors every few hours.) I asked John if we could move to a different site and he proposed that he lay down gravel to build us a patio and stop us from tracking mud into our camper. The campsite has some strict rules about driving speed and noise, but that's what makes us enjoy it here. We can walk our dogs without the fear of someone speeding down the roadway, and we can watch late night TV by our fire without hearing a large party. Essentially, be a respectful neighbor and you'll have a great time here. We're thinking about booking this as a seasonal so that we can spend more of our summer down at this KOA!

We have been traveling all month, staying at mostly KOA campgrounds. This is the nicest place, with the best experience we have had so far. Several times a day they let kids, and adults, hop aboard a fire truck and do a little tour of the grounds. We also had a free shuttle to local places. That is a huge relief, especially when you don't have a car with you and Uber doesn't come to your area. I hope to visit soon.
