Great campground but construction next door ruined our vacation! The moose from the equipment woke us before 7am every morning. Even on Sunday!! When a campground charges that high of a rate, I would like to have been given the opportunity to have chosen a site further away from the noise!

Very clean. Friendly staff and very helpful. Very kind to me always and stop to say hello and welcome. I love this campground. Large shaded sites and clean bathrooms. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy.

The staff was great... The campgrounds needs a little help. I do understand they are new to KOA and are working on it.

Enjoyed our stay up until our guests came and were turned away due to their dog. The staff stated due to insurance reasons they were not allowed on the property. We had our dogs with us, no insurance issue, most of the RV camper on site had dogs. Made no sense?? Sites were close together, very clean, staff friendly and shuttle to beach was a plus Would recommend for a night stay or two

The bathrooms need to be cleaned better, floor was filthy and toliet paper was on the floor during the entire stay

We really had a wonderful time, all of the staff were wonderful. The grounds were clean and spacious, it is clear they have made some really nice improvements. The kids loved the firetruck rides and the activities, we are very much looking forward to next year's improvements and will be making this trip a yearly thing for our group.

Fabulous! Staff is super friendly and helpful. Lots of kid activities - collecting coins, fire engine ride, just felt so inviting. We stayed in one of the glamping tents and they were awesome, bathrooms are very clean too, which is always appreciated!

We stayed in one of the glamping tents and they were very nice and much more roomy than I expected. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this place.

The staff was extremely friendly and was really great with the kids. They handed out cookies at night for the kids and had wagon rides. It was a very family-friendly campground that I would definitely go back to

Staff was pleasant. Grounds were nice but I did not like the bathrooms. Lots of mildew and shower stalls needed refurbishment.

Staff arent nice and not helpful. The bathrooms were dirty and unmaintained. The connections for the rv were too far for site. Ground for rv was extremly bumpy and uneven, gravel does not help because they slide around becoming even more hazardous.

The hosts and staff were wonderful, helpful and pleasant the entire time. When we checked in a member of the staff brought us to our site and explained the hook up process. This campground is in the process of upgrading many things and even with all of the work going on our stay was never interrupted by noise or construction. We cannot wait to return next year and see all of the upgrades.

Bathhouse were very dirty. Trash was not dumped for many days. Noise ordinance was not enforced wi/h loud campers well into the night (past midnight) over the weekend. The campground felt more like a mobile home park than a campground. Many, many permanent trailers. Chickens roaming around freely. Hard to sleep past 5:00 am with chickens and highway noise right by your tent. Would not recommend.

Lovely, lightly wooded campground. Close to beaches, restaurants and cute small downtown Niantic. Passes to the town beaches were the best part of the stay! Friendly people working there and they really care about you having a nice stay. We'd come again!

We enjoyed the Saturday evening ice cream sundae social and watching the kids get a ride around the campground aboard the fire engine. The staff was very friendly.

We loved staying here! The shuttle was a life saver when communing to the store to get items we needed or to our relatives house. John was super nice! I highly recommend staying here and we will be staying here when we come back!

The staff was super friendly and helpful! Campgrounds were well set up. Location was perfect for what we were doing that week! Activities were fun! Beach access was great and the beaches are beautiful! We will be back!

While the management appears to be attempting to clean up the campground, I have several observations this is a resident campground with a transient component. Most transient sites are not full hookups, the dump station is on the exit road and blocks the road for units wanting to exit. There appears to be a shared slinky hose at the station that is not very well cleaned. This is not what I expect

The campground was nice and clean..owners very friendly.the only reason I gave it a three was first our meter was smoking though they did come right down and fixed it ..we also had problems with the grey water not going down the pipe..which also gave off a odor..wish we had been told there would be only one pass to the beaches instead of three.wouldn't have been as bad if there was a pool.

Site was big and shady.. Very low water pressure. A little pricy and no black water dumping on your own site. No pool. Laundry was ok.

You really need to send in teams to investigate and understand the staff there. These folks are so different..... And so spectacular. Other KOAs struggle to even get in the same category as these outstanding folks masquerading as staff.

Nice place to stay. It's nice to see they have lots for the kids to do. Very helpful staff. One down side is its very bright at night, the lights @ check in building could be pointed down more or less watts.

We were here for 3 nights and it was wonderful. The staff is helpful and friendly, Bubbles is a hoot and everyone went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay. The shuttle into town was such a nice treat, The laundry facilities were clean as were the bathrooms. I would recommend this campground wholeheartedly.

We have come her for a month, two years in a row. We love it here. It has a homey feel and has many great activities and restaurants in the area. The campgrounds themselves are decent but the service and homey feeling is what keeps us comings back. The staff are super friendly. They are constantly working, but always spare a moment to wave, stop for a quick joke, or just see how things are going. The owner, John, helped us out greatly this year. At the start of our stay we encountered a massive amount of rain, to the point of us being unhappy with our site (the dogs would track mud into the camper and we were cleaning the floors every few hours.) I asked John if we could move to a different site and he proposed that he lay down gravel to build us a patio and stop us from tracking mud into our camper. The campsite has some strict rules about driving speed and noise, but that's what makes us enjoy it here. We can walk our dogs without the fear of someone speeding down the roadway, and we can watch late night TV by our fire without hearing a large party. Essentially, be a respectful neighbor and you'll have a great time here. We're thinking about booking this as a seasonal so that we can spend more of our summer down at this KOA!

We have been traveling all month, staying at mostly KOA campgrounds. This is the nicest place, with the best experience we have had so far. Several times a day they let kids, and adults, hop aboard a fire truck and do a little tour of the grounds. We also had a free shuttle to local places. That is a huge relief, especially when you don't have a car with you and Uber doesn't come to your area. I hope to visit soon.
