The showers are disgusting and need renovation. The lot boundaries are not very well noted or communicated. I'm sure I am not the first nor the last one that they asked to move. They take no responsibility for their lack of communication and blame the camper that they don't know where the lot boundaries are. There are any number of ways to note where boundaries are, choose one.

The men that helped with propane, dumping and transportation were awesome. The gals were friendly. We camped in dirt for two nights of rain - awful mud. Showers were dirty and old- no pool.

The campground was very nice and well maintained. Our 2 day site was #134, big, setback and wooded except one side. The problem was that one side. There were fifty 3 story condos or apartments being built 100 feet from our site. Framing guns, roofing guns and a 35,000 excavator doing site work from 7:00 - 3:30 every day. Worst camping experience ever. I would not recommend camping here this summe

It was beautiful, we loved the cabin and the campground, only bummer was we didn’t have good weather the day we were there, we will definitely be back!

We can see you are doing a lot to improve the campground. However,messy seasonal sites are a turn-off, bathrooms were messy on weekends mornings although you cleaned them at night. (great idea). Also, in our RV, we could not get around people who were dumping. Perhaps that area needs to be widened. Loved the shuttle!!!!!!!!!

An older rv park with few amenities. Staff very friendly. Quiet and trees. But I believe another Koa nearby would be better for most travelers if you plan to spend more than one night.

pros: very nice friendly employees, great location to lakes, attractions, very quiet at night with employees riding around on carts until 10/1030 at night, wood and ice delivery by employees very quick. Our tent campsite was in a great spot set back from others in the wooded area. cons: location needs updating and bathrooms needed to be cleaned better and/or more often

Sites had great shade and decent size. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Only downside were the bath houses and their choice of TP. The bathhouse were dated and will need structural attention soon. The TP was extremely thin creating a very unkempt appearance and very difficult to use.

Everyone we came into contact with was kind. Whoever is running this KOA must look at reinvestment into the campground. Road improvement needed, piles of junk laying around to include what should have been children's golf advertised as available but wasn't. The area around the KOA is worth visiting, but next time I will be staying somewhere else.

My first time camping (luckily, my boyfriend is experienced) and I was a bit nervous. However, this experience was AMAZING!!! I never understood the word relaxing until this past weekend. The staff were great; friendly, welcoming and accommodating. From having to change our original site, to delivering firewood and grate for the fire pit, to helping us book a site for next weekend… all smiles!

We never stayed at a KOA Journey before so it's hard to tell if this is what to expect or not. The people who work here are fantastic - super helpful! The campground was remarkably quiet, and sites are big. It's a very natural campground - dirt roads and lovely plantings doted around the property. It just felt like something was missing. The lack of a pool is obvious tho you may visit the ocean.

Great campground. The staff really does alot to make things special for the young ones from throwing out coins for treasure hunts to multiple wagon rides & fire truck rides daily. Even though they don't have full sewer on site they do offer pump out for multi day stay. Also offers shuttle to & from beach. Staff also very helpful with set up.

We love this place! There are so many activities for kids, the beach is wonderful and the staff is very friendly and helpful! Special thank you to John for taking care of us. We are coming back multiple times throughout the summer and recommending to all our friends (this time brought 4 more separate parties with us). Feels like family here. Thank you!

The people were wonderful the staff was really helpful and friendly and kind but the bathrooms were absolutely horrible. Garbage cans were overflowing, floors were filthy and tmoldy and floors and mats look like they hadn’t been cleaned in years. in the women’s bathroom there was toilet paper all over the floor and wads of toilet paper were stuck to the ceiling.

We had a wonderful stay. We appreciated the helpful staff and accommodating shuttles to the beach. The beach was gorgeous. The campground was well kept and there were so many well mannered, friendly guests.

Friendly staff and great location. Niantic has so much to offer! The bathrooms were not cleaned very well, if at all, while we there. That was disappointing. Guest fee of $6 per person is very high, especially if you have room for a guest vehicle at the site. There are no amenities like a pool for guests to use, so unsure why fee is so high.

The staff and location were perfect for our trip to the cape. The staff was helpful, joyful and funny. Brought wood and ice to our site for us, kids road on a firetruck and it was peaceful! Even though we only stayed overnight we will stay longer next year because we were truly surprised!

Everything's was absolutely perfect, the kids had so much fun hunting for coming and sluicing for gems. We cannot wait to camp with you guys again, might be sooner than later lol Thank you all for everything.

Great activities for the kids, bathroom cleaning need improvement ( lots of toilet paper on a floor and overloaded garbage) . Also would be nice to have a swimming pool. Tent area have enough threes to keep you in a shade during a hot day. Big shout out to the maintenance guy, John , who made our stay unforgettable. Overall good place to stay, will definitely come back.

The staff was very accommodating and it’s was a very nice place to stay. Very kid friendly, every night at 8 they drove the children around the camp ground with sirens. My wife was omitted to the hospital for a few days and the KOA was very willing to work with me if we needed an extra day or two.

The staff are very helpful and pleasant to all the guests. They have lots of activities for kids..a nice playground and off lead dog area. The shuttle bus to area attractions us a plus!

I would give it a 1 rating but the staff was friendly. I am just surprised that it retains a KOA status with the conditions the restrooms are in they border on disgusting. The floor look like they haven’t been swept or disinfected in months and I can attest not swept for the 4 days we were there. They also rolled up our mat because I assume it was on grass which was non existent. Many other issu

This was by far worst KOA we ever stayed at. While ever other KOA had excellent facilities and friendly staff, this was did not. . For over $70 a night, we were expecting what we had experienced previously. The bathroom were in poor condition and were never cleaned in 10 days. At the desk, guests are greeted by a aggressive dog. And full hookups did not include black water.

We were here for 3 nights and it was wonderful. The staff is helpful and friendly, Bubbles is a hoot and everyone went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay. The shuttle into town was such a nice treat, The laundry facilities were clean as were the bathrooms. I would recommend this campground wholeheartedly.

We have come her for a month, two years in a row. We love it here. It has a homey feel and has many great activities and restaurants in the area. The campgrounds themselves are decent but the service and homey feeling is what keeps us comings back. The staff are super friendly. They are constantly working, but always spare a moment to wave, stop for a quick joke, or just see how things are going. The owner, John, helped us out greatly this year. At the start of our stay we encountered a massive amount of rain, to the point of us being unhappy with our site (the dogs would track mud into the camper and we were cleaning the floors every few hours.) I asked John if we could move to a different site and he proposed that he lay down gravel to build us a patio and stop us from tracking mud into our camper. The campsite has some strict rules about driving speed and noise, but that's what makes us enjoy it here. We can walk our dogs without the fear of someone speeding down the roadway, and we can watch late night TV by our fire without hearing a large party. Essentially, be a respectful neighbor and you'll have a great time here. We're thinking about booking this as a seasonal so that we can spend more of our summer down at this KOA!

We have been traveling all month, staying at mostly KOA campgrounds. This is the nicest place, with the best experience we have had so far. Several times a day they let kids, and adults, hop aboard a fire truck and do a little tour of the grounds. We also had a free shuttle to local places. That is a huge relief, especially when you don't have a car with you and Uber doesn't come to your area. I hope to visit soon.
