Front desk personnel and Bubbles (friendly gentleman who guided us to our site) were very nice. Good overnight stay to rest up, and it's not too far from New Haven for great pizza (avoid the rush hour).

Had a nice 4 day getaway Staff was very helpful. From providing extra cable wire when we arrived to having a sewer hose already attached to the dump station when we left

Work in progress at this Koa. Primitive tent site wasn't that good but the upgraded sites looked really good.

Excellent staff! The facility was clean and appreciated staff attentiveness/assistance. Nice park, could work on aesthetic of park a bit, dilapidated old 5th wheel and junk scrap piles could go - that is only thing that could be improved.

Really convenient KOA and really friendly staff. Can walk across road to state park and minutes to beach. Many sites are small with few trees. Lots of construction bordering campground which is temporary. Although the beaches are close it really should have a pool.

We had site 103 which appeared to be one of the nicer sites. We had a nice green area to utilize which included a 2 person swing. In general the campground needs work which appears to be in progress. To be fair the trees were in the final stages of blooming their leaves which adds to the ambiance. Nice fireplace and being midweek it was quiet. Owners were pleasant and helpful. Very near 3 beach

Treated like royalty from the moment we arrived til the day we had to leave. Everyone was kind and courteous. Bubbles is the best! Can’t wait to go back!

Great location right off the highway - very nice staff, extremely helpful. Lots for kids to do - it was nice seeing kids playing as kids. Rated a 4 because there was no sewer hookup at the site. Dump station on the way out was handy but at $80 , sewer would have been nice.

Had a great time with friends glamping in 2 of your glamping tents. Campground appears to be a work in progress, or simply later getting started for the season, but we will certainly return.

The facility was very well equipped and made the stay enjoyable. I only wish there was a small microwave for those cold rainy days that we had. We could have heated water and soup. I really enjoyed the heated bed

I am an active KOA user (i.e., 18 KOA’s last month). This KOA is hands down the WORST of all RV campgrounds. No sewer at any site, bath house covered in mold on outside & paint pealing off all walls. Looks like an ordinary storage junk yard. Only dirt and muddy roads. No Pool, no rec. house (it was filled with garbage and old furniture and closed to public. Utilities on the wrong end of site.

Park is easy on and off of I 95! It looks like the owners are doing some up grades. Would stay again, probably longer then our two days this time. Hopefully in the upgrades the owners upgrade the roads in the park. This is my only complaint about the park, is the roads in the park. TERRIBLE roads!!!!!!

Staff very friendly and helpful. Grass needed cut, KOA store not operating and disappointed that there was no full sewage hook-up in the campground. Primary roads in campground need to be paved, very messy when it rains.

Great stay! Campground has improved greatly since KOA. They are still doing a lot of much needed upgrades. The staff at Niantic is one of the best in the country, friendly,helpful and experienced

Spent one night while travelling through the state. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Bubbles. He really goes above and beyond to help and make your stay comfortable.

We had a great stay, it was just what we needed. A quiet weekend. Check in was smooth and the office staff were welcoming. Bubbles escorted us to our site, his eye for leveling the camper is spot on ! He even helped us set up, we got everything done in record time. We definitely will be returning to Niantic.

The campground was perfect for us (very quiet, no one bothers you, wooded site and great prices; plus we loved that you provided the hose for the dump station) however the grounds were not that kept up, the condos take away from the camping experience and there wasn’t a lot to do for families. We will definitely be back though. It’s a good place for my husband and I.

We really enjoyed our stay. Everyone was so friendly and the campground was quiet, especially at night. The sites are somewhat small, but the site out our door was empty, so we didn't feel cramped. It was pre-season, so not unexpectant - there was a lot of noisy work going on - building noises a skid loader moving gravel all weekend. REALLY good firewood and they'll deliver it to your site.

Firewood over priced & very small quantity and not seasoned! Store not open so unable to get even basic supplies. A little disappointed with the close proximity of the campsites. However the staff was very helpful and very quick to help us with any issues that arose. And the location is great right across the street from Rocky Neck trails.

I’m surprised KOA allows this place to call itself a KOA. There was no hot water in the bathroom nor soap in the dispensers. There were no apparent amenities. Staff was friendly enough, but for $63 per night, we’ll go to a Motel 6 next time.

Pros -good sized shaded level sites water/electric/cable,clean dog park Cons - construction next door trucks beeping at 7 am, construction in park supplies and equipment everywhere gives trashy appearance, no access to store except thru a window - staff didn't even say hello when we were checking in, nor tell us anything about area Ok for overnight, but wouldn't stay long at this time.

The Niantic KOA is under construction. It had not gotten a spring clean up and there was several dilapidated trailers on permanent sites. In fact, in the middle of the KOA, a shell of one was in the middle of being parted out. We will not return as there are much better cheaper alternatives. A poor introduction to KOA

The staff was great. I know it is early in the year so I did expect maintains to be under way, witch is a good thing to update the camp. There was construction on new condo's on the adjacent property witch started at 7:00 AM. There was no sleeping in. (BEEP BEEP BEEP BANG BANG). But our friends and my family still enjoyed the chance to get out and camp. Will probably go back in the future.

We spent three days here,Not the best weather but always an employee around if we needed anything.Everyone here is so friendly and helpful.Sites are easy to get in and out of.The only complaint I would have is the construction next door which is not their fault at all. You can see they are working hard to get everything up to date.But again couldn`t ask for nicer people.We will be back for sure.

Very quiet and accommodating.. Sites were flat and well maintained. Nice place to bring your furry friends with plenty of trails and play area to keep them busy. I would recommend Niantic koa

My wife, daughter and I only stayed here for one night, but it was a great site. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially since we were delayed and didn't arrive till late in the evening.

Loved the size of the site. Staff was friendly and polite. We went the last week of the season and leaves were an issue.

We were lucky to have one last camp out for the season here at Niantic KOA. The staff were still there friendly selves, and the autumn foliage did not disappoint. Our site had a nice canopy of trees, and the bath houses were clean.

Very safe location and clean. Bubbles was extremely helpful and checked to make sure I did not need a thing. He led me to the glamping site and gave me a thorough walk around. The tent was nice and clean and the refrigerator was spotless. Everything was ready for me when I got there. Although it was cold at night the bed was equipped with a heating pad. So my night was toasty warm. Loved the site.

I guess they can charge what they do based on the campground's location............because the facilities are poor. Old and tired. Nice enough staff, but everything needs updating and improvement.

We’ve stayed at a few KOA in the Fall and this one isn’t as appealing to the others. Leaves not blown away from campsites, no real store, playground needs to be redone and more for kids.

We were here for 3 nights and it was wonderful. The staff is helpful and friendly, Bubbles is a hoot and everyone went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay. The shuttle into town was such a nice treat, The laundry facilities were clean as were the bathrooms. I would recommend this campground wholeheartedly.

We have come her for a month, two years in a row. We love it here. It has a homey feel and has many great activities and restaurants in the area. The campgrounds themselves are decent but the service and homey feeling is what keeps us comings back. The staff are super friendly. They are constantly working, but always spare a moment to wave, stop for a quick joke, or just see how things are going. The owner, John, helped us out greatly this year. At the start of our stay we encountered a massive amount of rain, to the point of us being unhappy with our site (the dogs would track mud into the camper and we were cleaning the floors every few hours.) I asked John if we could move to a different site and he proposed that he lay down gravel to build us a patio and stop us from tracking mud into our camper. The campsite has some strict rules about driving speed and noise, but that's what makes us enjoy it here. We can walk our dogs without the fear of someone speeding down the roadway, and we can watch late night TV by our fire without hearing a large party. Essentially, be a respectful neighbor and you'll have a great time here. We're thinking about booking this as a seasonal so that we can spend more of our summer down at this KOA!

We have been traveling all month, staying at mostly KOA campgrounds. This is the nicest place, with the best experience we have had so far. Several times a day they let kids, and adults, hop aboard a fire truck and do a little tour of the grounds. We also had a free shuttle to local places. That is a huge relief, especially when you don't have a car with you and Uber doesn't come to your area. I hope to visit soon.
