Fantastic location for my interests People extremely helpful the only minus was the septic system needs up grade for full service as we are used to they are accomadating so it works out

Staff was great. Excellent value! Was originally worried about not having "black" water sewer connection at the site. They made it "EASY". Wish we had arranged to stay there a few more days.

Everyone was very nice and offered help if we needed it. We will definitely be back since we have friend currently stationed at the sub base in Groton, and this campground not only nice and clean, but was also close and convenient. �

We spent 5 weekends in a row here From the welcome when you check in to the escort to your site the staff is wonderful, friendly & very accommodating! All of the ladies in the office & serving ice cream are always smiling & friendly they do an amazing job at the sundae social They do a great job at making you feel at home & welcome! We had such a great experience that we are going seasonal in 2020

All KOA staff were super nice . Very helpful and we’re on hand with any assistance needed. The camp isn’t too big and rowdy, a excellent location for heading out and exploring the area. Very much enjoyed our stay. Definitely be back to stay.

Everyone at the campground was very helpful and pleasant. Enjoyed having cake and ice cream to celebrate (Bubbles) birthday.

stay was nice the camp ground looks good staff very friendly the only part that is a bit frustrating is the traffic and there is nothing you can do about that we would more then likely stat again the place looks very nice keep up the improvements

Very basic KOA but nice wooded setting and super nice, friendly staff. Great sightseeing nearby. Mystic a must-see. Definitely recommended!!

In our 8 years on the Road--this is the Second place that truly epitomized and, may actually have coined the phrase--"come as a Stranger--Leave as a Friend! From check-in to ice delivery and check out bubbles, Bob--yes, Both of you and John with his cotton candy machine were always helpful and all highly recommended Keith the local Mobile RV guy who quickly diagnosed my Refrigerator problem.

First time staying here and had a great time. John escorted us to our site and was very helpful. He provided us with a gray water hose since we didn’t have one. The campground is under going a makeover so a few of the sites are a little rough but no complaints there. Can’t say enough about the friendly staff and service. Make sure you meet John and Bubbles! We definitely will be back.

We enjoyed our stay at the campground. It is clean and staff was helpful. I realize it is still going through the transition into a full KOA facility but is on the right track! Keep up the hard work.

Presentation of front office could be improved. Not full hook ups. Laundry room could be cleaner. Camp site had left over small bits of trash from previous guests, i.e., pieces of wrappers, beer bottlecap, etc., nothing major, but still not as nice as other KOA parks. But, we would still stay there again.

We really enjoyed the vibe of those caring for this campground and loved the big trees and spacious camp sites. Also, great location. Niantic area was fun to explore & lots of yummy affordable seafood.

All of the staff are very professional and friendly. At night, the campground is very quiet so it is excellent if you need your sleep.

We love staying there. It's amazing how quiet the campground is for a KOA. We enjoy seeing all of the improvements each time we come back. Folks are friendly and very helpful and the beach pass is awesome! We hope to be able to spend a whole season there some day!

The campground itself needs some upgrades (such as a pool, mini golf or snack shack...something). However, the people who work there are absolutely wonderful! John went out of his way to check in on us and even emptied everyone’s tanks as they left. There are many seasonals there which aren’t in the best shape. We lucked out being near some which were and the owners were fantastic and frie

We were here for 3 nights and it was wonderful. The staff is helpful and friendly, Bubbles is a hoot and everyone went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay. The shuttle into town was such a nice treat, The laundry facilities were clean as were the bathrooms. I would recommend this campground wholeheartedly.

We have come her for a month, two years in a row. We love it here. It has a homey feel and has many great activities and restaurants in the area. The campgrounds themselves are decent but the service and homey feeling is what keeps us comings back. The staff are super friendly. They are constantly working, but always spare a moment to wave, stop for a quick joke, or just see how things are going. The owner, John, helped us out greatly this year. At the start of our stay we encountered a massive amount of rain, to the point of us being unhappy with our site (the dogs would track mud into the camper and we were cleaning the floors every few hours.) I asked John if we could move to a different site and he proposed that he lay down gravel to build us a patio and stop us from tracking mud into our camper. The campsite has some strict rules about driving speed and noise, but that's what makes us enjoy it here. We can walk our dogs without the fear of someone speeding down the roadway, and we can watch late night TV by our fire without hearing a large party. Essentially, be a respectful neighbor and you'll have a great time here. We're thinking about booking this as a seasonal so that we can spend more of our summer down at this KOA!

We have been traveling all month, staying at mostly KOA campgrounds. This is the nicest place, with the best experience we have had so far. Several times a day they let kids, and adults, hop aboard a fire truck and do a little tour of the grounds. We also had a free shuttle to local places. That is a huge relief, especially when you don't have a car with you and Uber doesn't come to your area. I hope to visit soon.
