Extremely clean restrooms and very helpful and friendly staff. Yes, it’s right next to the interstate and has the noise associated with that, but that shouldn’t surprise anyone as it’s very obvious prior to booking simply by looking at an aerial map. Easy in and out. It was perfect for our one night stay on our way through.

Serious traffic flow problems at the entrance. You’ll be stuck on the road with your flashers on because entrance is blocked with every one arriving at the same time. These people will not accommodate their guests. If you leave to go into town you’ll be stuck in the same situation upon your return. Move the office to the center of the property or adjust your hours before an accident occurs.

The owners truly care about their guest’s comfort. The spaces are not right on top of each other, allowing you to enjoy your outdoor time better. Another detail, is the removal of the tire valve stem destroying timbers that delineate sites in many other campgrounds. Two thumbs up!

This is not the quietest or shadiest KOA I have been to but is spotless, well appointed and has by far the most congenial staff (owner.). The were accommodating and helpful.

Nice overnight campground. Friendly & helpful hosts. Hookups were conveniently located so we didn’t have to unhook our trailer from our truck. Site was perfectly level forward to back and side to side. Campground is next to the highway (I used ear plugs the wife didnt, we both slept fine) But other than that it was the perfect stopover on our way home from Yellowstone. We’ll stay there again.

Super nice people and a super clean and level place. Matt led us our space and was very kind to guide us in. Not many spots so call ahead. Looks completely new with gravel driveway and camp spots. The patio spots are really nice. Great decorations.

Very nice KOA, one of the nicest we have stayed! Beautiful huge patio sites with grill, table/chairs fire pit. The owners were awesome!!

We loved everything and the staff so so friendly and helpful. It was also clean. The only thing we would have liked to see is a little more shade but not sure if that can be changed (more trees maybe) but we will definitely be back!

Great place to stay. Matt and his staff were amazing. The campground, store, showers, everything was spotless. They obviously care deeply about their campground. I definitely would stay again and will be recommending them to anyone who asks.

Just a overnighter, but the staff was outstanding and the park is super clean. Highly recommend this park if traveling the 80.

Great place for a stop over, only disappointment was no TV and couldn't get antenna either but internet was good for streaming.

The KOA team was wonderful and incredibly helpful and nice. A perfect way to end a long 8 hour drive across SD and NE. The campground facilities were first rate!!

The staff was very helpful and we liked how they directed you to your site. They were pleasant and explained everything available to us. We felt very welcomed and would stay here again if in the area.

Excellent place for overnight stay. Easy in and out. Friendly hosts. Good wifi. I wish they had a few more of the patio sites. We like those even on just an overnight stay. Couldn't get one, though we booked just a few days ahead.

Staff was spectacular! Facilities were fabulous and CLEAN! Newer and no pool but lots of other activities and location is great. Patios available at some sites.

Great staff, very clean grounds very pet friendly. Mostly new sites that will rate straight 10s as the trees mature. Close to hwy and shopping for ease of access & supplies, very quiet. We'd definitely recommend!

Horrible office hours. No one works between 10am and 1pm. We were told we couldn’t check in early and we couldn’t park our camper there before our reservation. Upon arrival, we had to wait for a staffing change even though the park was at maybe 10 percent capacity. Very strange. Also, I don’t recommend the paw pen sites during the summer, it burned my dogs feet. :(

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Check-In time is 2pm MT or after per online reservations, email confirmations and texts to every reservation. We agreed to check you in 45 minutes early and you still arrived 30 minutes before that time. Office is not open during those hours as staff is cleaning and cant take early check-ins.

We stayed at the Ogallala KOA for two nights. The park is very nice and the hosts are very friendly. Most would stop for one night and travel on. They were the first KOA that we stayed at the offered a private Paw Pen at your site along with a deluxe patio with grill, furniture and a fire pit. There are three of them currently. They also offer deluxe a patio sites without the Paw Pen and regular.

Either the facility is new or just had a bunch of new investment in landscaping. All the sites had new loose gravel. The site hook-ups were very convenient. Freeway access is convenient and a Travel America truck stop is nearby. We only stayed 1 night but there are some nearby locations that I would have liked more time to visit.

2nd stay at this location. Love it; well maintained park and the friendliness of the owners and staff are phenomenal! We’d love to have a pool here, but, we’ll continue to make this our go to spot while traveling through NE just because of how wonderful the people are!

Park was nicely laid out with decent sized sites. Staff was nice as well. There are two fenced dog parks on the property, one grass and the other turf. There is not any shade and all sites are gravel. The patio sites have a small fenced dog pen which is a nice feature. Laundry room has 3 washers and I believe 5 dryers. Dryers took a while. They have a cute western theme throughout the park.

Very helpful staff. Received a couple texts prior to our arrival. 2 sewer hookups each space. A number of recent upgrades.

Probably two of the nicest husband and wife owner's we've met. She called to confirm reservation and our ETA, planned on being there for our arrival and he took us right to our site and asked if we needed any help. Seemed like a great young couple and the improvements to the park they were making seemed really good. Very level spots with full hookups, dog friendly and good WIFI. Sites were larger than most Journey sites. I80 was very busy, but inside rig, we hardly noticed.
