Nice new sites. It looks like they are doing a lot to expand the place. The sites were big. The deluxe sites were very big and easy to get in and out of for a big rv. There is traffic noise but it’s not as bad as some places. The campground was very clean. Enjoyed our time there.

To start with, the owners were both helpful and friendly. The whole facility was clean and neat. They helped us get set up an extension cord. Showers were clean and water was warm! It's right off the freeway, but we were not bothered by the noise. We'll be here again in the next spring.

Please read my whole review: The good and the Bad. Very noisy. Highway trucks jack brake all night plus trains. Omg. Grumpy for two days after in order to get caught up in sleep. Just stayed one night. On the plus side. But… very well laid out, nice bbq snd patio, great after hour check in, level pads, stayed connected to trailer. Very clean property. Close to fuel and amenities.

Thank you for noting the hard work that we put into this place. It is clearly stated on our website where we are located and when you pull into our property it's clear as well. If noise from trucks and trains bothers you this may not be the campground for you so consider this before staying. It's ok

Matt went above and beyond for me. As a solo women traveler it was very appreciated. KOA near everything too. Great place to stop if you have errands to do!

The noise from the highway is to much. Was awaken throughout the night which made the night not restful at all. I felt more tired when I left . I was awoken around 4 and decided to pack it up and leave. I was exgausted driving this day. This KOA is not a place to stop and rest.

I am sorry the noise bothered your sleep. You were a walk in after hours and chose to stay here. PLEASE before making a reservation or choosing to stay here know that you will have interstate noise. Some days worse then others. Train track is a mile away but some days sounds like its at the park.

We had a great stay, the camp ground we clean, we had our own dog run for our Shepard, patio with table and chairs, clean bathrooms and a super friendly staff. Next time we travel to Nebraska we will plan our stay with you. Thank you so much

What a wonderful makeover of this KOA. Nice wide spaces, patios, and overall great appearance. Staff are super friendly and welcoming. We will stop here again on our travels through Nebraska.

First off the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is traffic noise from the interstate, other than that it very nicely kept KOA Journey with restaurants, fast food and convenients stores near by. Definitely would stop again when passing through.

I stayed 6 months ago and noticed the construction. I recently got a chance to stay at one of the new patio sites and it really exceeded expectations! Great!

Absolutely surprising! Excellent patio and fire pit were unexpected. Definitely making the most of an interstate highway location. We wished we could have stayed longer.

very friendly and helpful staff. Nice to be able to get a pizza after driving all day. Tremendous Halloween set up for kids to enjoy but all quiet after 9PM

Thank you but I think this is for another KOA as we do not have a Halloween station set up. We do have Valentions Pizza that delivers and we strive to be friendly and helpful :)

This is a wonderful KOA! Clean and bright restrooms/showers, well designed and flat sites, excellent wifi and best of all, very welcoming and friendly owners. We traveled from northern WI to NM and CO, staying at 14 different KOAs. Ogallala is one of the very best.

What nice people. These folks accommodated us due to my husbands health conditions. They have a very clean place and I highly recommend staying here.

So well kept and the staff is so friendly. Easy in and out, didn’t need to unhook toad. Love that they have two different sewer hook-ups to accommodate where to want to place your rig within the space. Our second time staying here and the host recognized me from our previous stay!! What a personalized feeling, we’ll be back!!

Pros: Very nice and friendly staff. Clean and modern campsite. Cons: Too close to I-80 so it was very noisy. Most of the campsites were completely gravel covered; no trees or grass. And the few that did have trees and grass were short back in only and you had to disconnect your trailer. Basically though it is a nice campsite.

Has got to be the noisest rv park we have ever been to , very close to the interstate .

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are right along the interstate and if noise bothers you then this is not the RV park for you. So just know before coming that you will have interstate noise. If you want convenience and easy on and off the interstate, clean facilities, and friendly staff then this is the place for you.

Probably two of the nicest husband and wife owner's we've met. She called to confirm reservation and our ETA, planned on being there for our arrival and he took us right to our site and asked if we needed any help. Seemed like a great young couple and the improvements to the park they were making seemed really good. Very level spots with full hookups, dog friendly and good WIFI.

Very helpful staff. Received a couple texts prior to our arrival. 2 sewer hookups each space. A number of recent upgrades.
