Perfect for an overnight rest. Very convenient to the highway, gas, and food, but as a result very noisy as well. Great customer service.

I really like grass, not rocks

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I see you were in a Paw Pen Patio site this has mulch landscaping and bushes. Parking is on rock. We do have limited grass areas but do have grass areas throughout the property.

Ogallal KOA is a great place for an overnight stay. It’s convenient to I80 and US 30. It’s well maintained and the folks in the office were great. The Wi-Fi was great. If you’re not interested in cooking, you can order food from Valentino’s and have it delivered to your door.

We pleasantly surprised to see that this campground had been upgraded tremendously. We had stayed at this location under different management, what a great experience and difference in the whole campground. Large roomy sites, clean and easy access. We will be returning happily to this KOA.

Our favorite KOA so far! It was very clean and well maintained. The staff was amazing! After a little mix-up at check-in, Brylie went above and beyond to make up for it. The owner even came out to make sure everything was good. The campground is patrolled most of the time and they are available if help is needed. Upgrades are being made, so don't judge the gravel! We'll be back. Thanks, Brylie!

Nice park, not much grass, but the sites were good and level. While there wasn't any grass at the sites (all gravel) there were two small but nice dog parks. We would stay there again if we are in the area.

The staff were excellent! They were very attentive and friendly. They brought us a fire pit and firewood quickly. The grounds were immaculate. And the bathrooms were also very clean. Not much in the way of activities, but if you're staying for a night or two, it was great.

By far, the BEST KOA we stayed at this trip. Nice, large spots, beautiful patios and kind, helpful staff. Highly recommend this spot for camping and going to the lake. Much easier than dealing with game and parks! And, you can drink a beer!

Complete newbie here. These gals came out and helped me with everything!! I looked around at the spacious sights, the dog kennels were pristine, everything here was perfect. We will be coming back here guaranteed! I can't say enough about how quiet, clean, spacious and welcoming this experience was, especially since I had just picked up a new RV in Colorado, returning to Chicago area!

Great place to stay. Very clean facilities and friendly staff. Fully book but still pretty quiet. Laundry facility was great! Open 24 hours, extremely clean, and good number of units.

WiFi non existent. $12 to do a load of laundry, and it was still not completely dry. Arrived to an empty park around 1230 pm, and yet made t wait more than minutes to check in. POS campground that I will give as many bad reviews as I can!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our WIFI is excellent and you are able to stream off of it. Our laundry is $2 a load? If you have a problem with anything on property please come talk to us so can fix it. The office opens at 1pm and check in is at 2pm. No one is in the office at 12:30pm. I am sorry our park is not for everyone.

Spring greeted us with a smile and was very helpful in getting us to our site. She was very knowledgeable about the area and recommended local restaurants if we were interested. We will definitely stay here again if we’re back in this area. Happy Camping - The Botello’s

Friendly staff who were very welcoming. Our pull thru campsite was clean and level. Close to the highway; so we found it convenient for our one night stay.

Great stay, the folks there are super. Even though it is right on the Interstate, it was great, super clean, friendly, and everyone went out of their way to accommodate.. Highly recommend.

The freeway was a little loud but that's the price you pay for an easy accessible camp. Clean and well managed.

Probably two of the nicest husband and wife owner's we've met. She called to confirm reservation and our ETA, planned on being there for our arrival and he took us right to our site and asked if we needed any help. Seemed like a great young couple and the improvements to the park they were making seemed really good. Very level spots with full hookups, dog friendly and good WIFI. Sites were larger than most Journey sites. I80 was very busy, but inside rig, we hardly noticed.
