This last stay was our third time at Ogallala and each time our experience has gotten better. The owners and staff are the greatest. They are warm and friendly and hard working. I love the improvements they have made to their KOA. Ogallala is our "go to" campground on our way West. See you again in September.

The sites are nice size and very clean. There are several bathrooms and showers around the park which is very convenient. We had Hunts pizza delivered to our campsite and it was very good. This is an exceptionally clean campground and the staff are very nice and helpful. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Loved the small environment! Very family friendly and absolutely impressed with the Paw Pens sites. I will definitely be looking out for those spots next time. Was a little disappointed we had to rent another spot for our 2nd vehicle when we could have parked it in the overflow parking that provided plenty of space

Thank you for the great review and please come again. You had to rent an extra space for your boat as our overflow is very small and we only allow personal vehicles in the overflow no boats, trailers, or uhauls etc There is a truck stop next door that has free parking if you need that.

1st timers at a KOA. Mgmt. was very accommodating for us as we did a late check in at night after a long day of travel. Next morning as we looked around the camp ground we were amazed at the amenities. Next travel vacation, we will be looking for KOA's

We got stranded due to our car breaking down. The attendants at the KOA were super accommodating and found a space for us. Bathrooms were clean, grounds were pretty and clean, dog runs well kept. We plan to stop here next year as our overnight stop. The town also has character, charm, friendly people and good food. If you have time, drive out to the lake. It’s a hidden treasure. Great place!

Staff was friendly. Campground is clean. But it's the most stripped down KOA I've ever stayed at. Gravel as far as the eye can see. The patio sites at least have a little landscaping but if you're not willing to spend $100 a night for a patio site you're relegated to gravel only. Plant some trees. A bush. Grass. Anything green.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our patio sites are anywhere from $60-$80 depending on the night and if your in a paw pen or not. Our existing part does have grass and some trees but again depends on your RV size and type if you can fit in there. We are still working on the new addition.

We stayed 1 night, and it was great. Campgrounds were well maintained, and it was quiet and peaceful at night. Showers/bathrooms were clean. Love the night check in room. I don't know if we'll ever make it that far out again, but if we do, we will definitely stay with you!!

The park has very clean bathrooms/shower rooms. The store is nicely stocked. The staff are friendly and very helpful. It’s a great place to stay for the night. But it’s very close to I80 and the road noise is very loud. Otherwise, nice big rig sights.

Nicest people. Everything was so clean and new. We had a nail in our car tire and they allowed us to use their air compressor, which they didn’t have to do. Super nice. Kids loved the playground.

We just popped in quick for an overnight place to stay. The campground was cozy, clean, and the staff was friendly!

New looking, clean, but no trees for shade at all. Patio sites have private dog pen and general area also available. Total stone camp sites. Convenient 1/2 night stopover to recharge/restock. Very nice staff.

Great campground to stay for a night or two. Obviously it has been recently renovated to accommodate todays larger RV's. The staff and owners were friendly and helpful, the grounds were clean.

For a brand new RV park I was pleasantly surprised at the park, they were upgranding the sights which were very clean along with the rest rooms clean with waxed floors that were immaculate, staff friendly and accommodating.

Thank you! We are not a NEW park. This park has been here since the 50's we are a new KOA as of last season and we are just doing upgrades. Thank you for staying with us. Come again!

This campground was conveniently located off the interstate and the staff was friendly. It’s also located about 9 miles south of an awesome state park with a lake and drive on beach.

The owner was waiting with a big smile on his face when we drove up. Something as simple as that can be refreshing after a long day of travel. Then while checking in I was able to joke about with him and his wife to blow off some steam from a frustrating day.... they were so friendly and inviting... just what I needed. The perfect example of why I love staying at KOA campgrounds.

This day was enjoyable. The only drawback was the ditch behind our site and the ditch across the road both of which we had to drive through. These need to be marked or even better eliminated.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

There are small drainage diches as you enter into the sites. Also one on the North driveway that you just need to go slow over. We have had 18 inches of rain since March and have had to modify our drainage we are sorry for the inconvenience.

Clean facilities. No shade. Right next to i-80 so constant noise from semis. Staff was all over us. Constantly asking for us to do this, stop that. List was long. Don't plan on parking to load up they don't like that. Probably won't be back.

Our long list is all based on respect of neighbors and our property. I am sorry that you felt we were hard on you. Our business is all about respecting property and others to make the camping experience enjoyable for all. I understand if our property is not for you.

It is clean, the only thing that would make this park better is a pool to relax in after a long drive. This is the reason for not using this spot on our way back. I used the laundry and it was nice but hot in there could use a fan or air-conditioning.

Very helpful staff. Received a couple texts prior to our arrival. 2 sewer hookups each space. A number of recent upgrades.

Probably two of the nicest husband and wife owner's we've met. She called to confirm reservation and our ETA, planned on being there for our arrival and he took us right to our site and asked if we needed any help. Seemed like a great young couple and the improvements to the park they were making seemed really good. Very level spots with full hookups, dog friendly and good WIFI. Sites were larger than most Journey sites. I80 was very busy, but inside rig, we hardly noticed.
