This is a very small campground with a very nice staff. We were driving through and arrived late afternoon in both to and from our vacation destination. You have to remember this is a Journey and you are next to a noisy highway. The campgrounds were clean and well maintained but not the usual kid friendly parks as usual at a KOA.

Really friendly office staff and clean, well-kept site. Very close to the interstate, so there was a lot of road noise (which we were expecting and didn’t mind).

The place is immaculate and getting better. Clean, spacious sites, nice playground for the kids, well stocked store, clean bathrooms and laundry and a great staff. Our site had a patio and even a clean, new BBQ. Everyone was very helpful and made our stay very pleasant.

Great location for travel on I-80. Everyone was super helpful checking us in and to our site. Lots of easy in/out sites for RVs. Everything appears to be well maintained…this seems like a newer KOA. We definitely would stay here again.

Great, well maintained park! We had a patio site with a “PawPen”, which was awesome. In all of my KOA stays I’ve never experienced that! Great for our first babies!

Such a great little KOA. Road noise wasn't too bad. Staff was awesome and the sites had plenty of room. We will definitely stay there again.

Nice place with clean, level sites. The premium sires looked very nice. A bit of noise from the interstate, but RV sleeping with the AC took care of that. Restroom/shower facilities were clean and I'm nice condition.

Nice facilities but it is located right next to I80 and truck traffic is pretty load - particularly if you can't sleep through engine brakes. Good easy choice for a quick one night stay on the road but glad we weren't there any longer.

easy access. the new site 41 was soft dirt and needs to have more rock to prevent wheels sinking into dirt

Thank you for always staying with us. We just had a bunch of rain 3 inches :/ The new sites will have new gravel after the crushed concrete gets worked into the ground to make a solid base. We just brought in more crushed concrete yesterday :) Thank you again for always choosing to stay with us!

Odd traffic patterns

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

All of our roads are big enough for 2 way traffic. We do have a designated EXIT and ENTRANCE but in the mornings when everyone is leaving all roads are exits. We just ask that you don't drive through sites to EXIT.

This park is outstanding in every sense. The staff and owners could not be any more helpful, courteous, and customer oriented! The sites are large with beautiful patios, plantings, barbeques,, and dog enclosures (occasional). They sell wood for the brick firepits and rake sites between visitors. A playground for the kiddies and two Kamp k-9 enclosures round out the park. We loved our stay!

After checking out the area, we decided to stay overnight at the Lake instead.

After speaking with the guest they decided they would rather be at the lake so they chose to go to the lake. We are located 9 miles south of the lake and we are right along I-80.

We do not have cable tv as we state on our website. We are in a rural area with no local stations. You can pick up a few stations if you point your antenna to the EAST. We do have free WIFI that you can stream all your favorite shows from.

The campground was well taken care of and very appealing. The sites were level and clean. The bathrooms were great. The manager was very accomodating to our late arrival.

Great over night place. DO NOT like that can't check in to 2 pm. If you are headed west loosing that hour right before really screws things up. Would use it again for an over night but would consider what time we were going to get there before I planned on staying there. If not there is other campgrounds in the area. Also very muddy there but that is just the weather..

Thank you! Check in time is after 2pm mountain time as advertised on our website and sent in every reservation confirmation email. We only have a few hours before check out and check in to clean and maintain the park. Things are muddy due to the rain thanks for understanding it is due to weather.

The sites are really soft sinking the RV’s and required some stabilization of the RV. I’m glad that we only spent one night there. We have stayed there at least three times and this is the first time we have had a bad experience. I realized you had some rain but the ground is not prepped adequately for it and requires attention. 3 inches in 1 day of rain does cause problems. Your ruts were 2 inches deep. New construction was compacted professionally. Rain came hard and fast. Drainage ditch is adequate and not too deep unless you are going too fast. Sorry it was a bad stay wish I had the power to change that.

It was a great overnight stay while traveling. Very well taken care of grounds. Great water pressure and very clean. Picnic tables were clean when we arrived. (very important in my opinion). The staff was super friendly, helpful, and professional. If I had more time, I would have stayed another night and explored the lake nearby.

Probably two of the nicest husband and wife owner's we've met. She called to confirm reservation and our ETA, planned on being there for our arrival and he took us right to our site and asked if we needed any help. Seemed like a great young couple and the improvements to the park they were making seemed really good. Very level spots with full hookups, dog friendly and good WIFI. Sites were larger than most Journey sites. I80 was very busy, but inside rig, we hardly noticed.
