It's not as filled with kid-friendly activities as KOA West Omaha (Gretna), but the staff's friendliness makes up for this. The sewer hookups should really be built sloped below ground level though.

Unfortunately we are not a HOLIDAY so we don't have all the extras. If the sewer dumps are below ground then we get rocks kicked into the sewers. Thanks for staying with us!

This is a well-run KOA with friendly staff, but by no means is it a destination campground. Pretty much all gravel, so not really conducive to sitting outside or walking around; the deluxe sites have some well-cared for landscaping. Right alongside I-80 but road noise not too bad. Fine for an overnight. Would stay again if driving through this way.

We are not a destination campground. We are a JOURNEY park which these are close to the highways and make for easy and off 1-2 night stays. Journey parks have the least amenities of all KOA's but still have the clean and friendly service that KOA promises! Thank you for staying with us!

The facility was very nice and new. However, the interstate traffic noise was terrible.

Thank you we are an old facility just trying to improve things. We are right along 1-80 as it clearly states on our website and google. The interstate noise is nothing we can control. It makes it easy for an overnight stay to get off and back on again quickly. Food and Gas nearby.

The ladies in the office at check in were very friendly and helpful. This is a nice camp, located right off the highway so there is a little road noise. No big deal when you are really tired. Clean bath house, nice facility.

This campground was sparkling clean and the staff was beyond friendly! I received a friendly, informative text about checking in within a few hours of making my reservation. I would high recommend this KOA!

Very clean, extremely friendly staff. I received a text with all the information for checking in prior to arriving so I knew exactly where to find the office and park for check in. I would highly recommend this KOA.

Easy on and off from highway. Very soft subsurface under layer of rock which could be a problem if it rains for a few days. The rocks on roadways were pretty rough and big for our small dogs who are not normally bothered by rocks. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice dog park areas. Good water pressure. Nicely spaced sites.

The site you stayed in is part of the NEW construction this year. New dirt work and currently crushed concrete is the base. It is going to take time for the concrete to work its way in and get a solid base which at that point we will cover with rock. We have had more rain then usual. Come again!

Very nice campground — good facilities, well maintained. Staff is friendly. Reservation process smooth. Unfortunately the camp is too close to I-80 and because of constant traffic noise, we didn’t get a single minute of sleep. If you run fans or air conditioners all night, you may be OK but be advised.

We are right along the interstate which is clearly stated on our website and google. If noise bothers you then this may not be the place for you. If you want quick and easy on and off from the interstate and easy fuel and food stops and don't mind the interstate being close then come see us.

Property is immaculate. Staff are very friendly Perfect spot for an overnight - the patios sites are really nice - after a long day of travel it’s nice to have everything all set up to relax

We had a short 1 night stay as we were heading to the Badlands National Park. We like staying at KOA because the majority of the parks are well run with very good sites and reliable power. Ogallala was a very pleasant surprise because it was among the very best RV parks we've stayed at across the country and not just KOA parks. The park is small but growing. We highly recommend Ogallala KOA!

Seems to be relatively new. The fresh gravel hasn't settled in yet. The employees were very friendly and helpful.

The young lady in the office was very friendly and helpful. She let us check in about 45 minutes early, then escorted us to our site.

Thank you! Thank you for replying to your morning of arrival text message letting us know you wanted to see if you could check in a little early. We were able to make this happen but with no communication we CAN NOT make early check-ins work without prior arrangement with the office.

GREAT! Overnight stay, wish we could have stayed longer. Everything is perfect and well managed. Easy access to I-80. Very clean KOA. Stayed at site T-2 pull-in with my 25’ class C. Nice little grassy site with a large shade tree. In between two tent sites. Could not have been better. You won’t be sorry you booked here!

Very clean, the most friendly group of staff! And we have met a lot of very friendly people at the KOAs. Easy on/off I80 which of course comes with some road noise, the only reason it didn’t get a 10. They had outside games, some very fancy spots, cool decorations. We found we had some common memorial tattoos with several staff which made it so nice to meet them.

Just a quick overnight stay. Clean, efficient, staff was very friendly, helpful and courteous. Sewer drop was not conveniently located on pull through site. Had to use three sewer lines to reach drop barely.

Thank you for your review. The site you were on has 2 sewer drops one towards the back and one towards the front so one of them should be easy access for any RV type or size. Thank you for staying with us!

Great place to stay for the night. Clean laundry(2nd dryer on the left doesn't work as well as the rest) and VERY friendly and helpful staff! Walmart nearby and Mexican restaurant on the way in was delicious! Lots of highway noise and trains but really easy access on and off the interstate.

Nice spot for a overnight stay on on our from central Kansas to Custer South Dakota. Nice level gravel sites. Very helpful and friendly staff!

Laundry facilities need attention. One dryer really super hot. Another on same setting takes twice as long to dry a load. This is an especially inconvenient oversight when the only other laundromat in town is filthy and disgusting with machines that wreak/stink. All the laundry facilities at the KOAs we’ve stayed at seem to be minimally equipped. Thought the first one was bad. Turns out it’s b

Spring was the kindest host I encountered on my 9 day trip. She made me feel comfortable, welcome and informed. I wished i had brought my dog with. Kamp K9 is a great idea and was executed perfectly. The entire facility was very nice. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Ogallala KOA is the only campground we stay with during our trips through Nebraska. The sites are easy to get in and out of and it's a beautiful campground. Lots of pride in how it looks!! Easy to book on line and always really nice on the phone.

Probably two of the nicest husband and wife owner's we've met. She called to confirm reservation and our ETA, planned on being there for our arrival and he took us right to our site and asked if we needed any help. Seemed like a great young couple and the improvements to the park they were making seemed really good. Very level spots with full hookups, dog friendly and good WIFI. Sites were larger than most Journey sites. I80 was very busy, but inside rig, we hardly noticed.
