Clean grounds and clean bathrooms. Host and staff great! Quiet night.

Great little place. It is close to I-80, so you do hear trucks during the night, but didn't bother us that much. Grounds are clean and well maintained, staff is great, helpful and friendly. It is all gravel, but flat and good hook ups. Seems to be mostly an overnight stay place for most. A couple of us were there for a few days. Would definitely stay again and recommend it.

Very small spaces. Claim they were booked full and about 20 spaces remained empty till morning.

We needed a quick, convenient place to stay off of the interstate, and this KOA hit all of our boxes: easy after-hours check-in, very clean facilities and campground, and affordable rate. It's important to note that you can hear the interstate from the campground and its setting is not scenic. But as a quick stopover point, that wasn't important to us.

Awesome people, nice, well-maintained park!

The staff were so friendly & efficient! Sites were immaculate & staff disinfected tables at sites after campers checked out.

Absolutely a great place to stay. Clean, modern sites with all the amenities. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Great place for overnight stay.

Freeway noise and lights from the local truck stop made it hard to sleep. Building a wall or wooden fence to keep the light out would make a big difference. Great WiFi. Some guys came in with the noisiest motorcycles I have ever heard (and I am a biker) completely shattered whatever calm was there. Nice, clean restrooms and showers.

This is a good place to stay the night when passing through but if you have an extra day (or time) be sure to check out the two lakes that are only 8-minutes away. They are Lake McConaughly and Lake Ogallala. This KOA has a friendly staff and we enjoyed our stay.

Such an amazing little campground! The check-in process was fast and seamless (even though it was busy), and the site was amazing! Great place to relax and unwind after a long day of travel.

There was no cable and could only get four channels on the tv. No shade and pretty noises with the highway right there. The employees where very friendly.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We have no cable and we advertise that everywhere. We have WIFI that is extremely good and that you can stream all of your favorite shows. We are right along I-80 which is the downside for noise but very convenient for getting off and on and fuel and food is very close.

Worst ever

It was a good place to stop for the night. The owners were very friendly. They are working hard to improve the sight. When the trees grow enough to provide shade, it will be ideal.

The site was very level and looked new. The only draw back was the highway noise. Even with the camper fan on high we heard semi’s all night long.

Great Paw Pen Site but could have used more privacy fencing. Nice that it has two dump hook ups. ! Since HWY literally in view - having a pool for kids would be a great activity to invest in. Horse shoe pits, game room, etc. After heavy rain - the soil under the stones sunk when you stepped on them. Almost like quick sand Convenience and generally clean is best attribute. Friendly Staff

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our paw pen sites do have some privacy fence. We are located right along I-80. We have a playground, corn hole, and gaga ball for the kids. We do not have a pool as stated on our website. We got 1/2inch of rain and yes things were soft. We work hard to keep things clean for all of our guests.

Great greeting. Three large units at same time, but Bryley handled us like a pro. Guided us to our site, answered questions, took control, and we were checking in well before posted time. Great site, easy in and out (she drew us a map). If I could emoji, I would double thumbs up!

Loved the campground! It was very clean, close to a Walmart and the staff were exceptionally nice. Stayed twice this summer. Second stay we were put near the highway and it was very loud so make sure you ask for one away from the highway.

Very nice patio furniture we spent time playing board games on with our granddaughter.

Staff members are very helpful and the sites were clean and as advertised.

Very nice park for overnight while traveling. Hosts were great. Expect some highway noise as it is very close but minimal at night

Nice KOA and very friendly staff. This is a no frills, no thrills, no surprises KOA. The sites are large sits and they must have replaced or laid down new gravel. It stormed real hard through the night and the ground was soggy. Glad they had the gravel down.

Very nice overnight stay. Cleanest KOA I’ve been too. Very friendly. Love the prearrival text. Well taken care of. Close to interstate so there is some noise but overall it is a really nice stopping point.

Nicely kept kampground

The park was very nice and clean. Only stayed 1 night passing through. Sites were alittle crowded but overall very nice and friendly staff.

We were treated like royalty! Very helpful and we appreciate the help using the electric hook up! Very clean campground! Very quiet and clean grounds! Thank you so much!

Absolutely one of the cleanest and most well maintained KOA I have ever used. Everything looks and feels new. The young folks operating the office are delightful and friendly. If there a higher rating available I would have given it to them. I plan on making this my 'go to' overnight stop whenever I am in the area.

If this KOA were any closer to I-80, you’d have to dodge traffic. As usual, KOA staff was very kind & helpful. Unless you get a “deluxe” site with a tuff of grass and a patio, the entire park is gravel with a maybe two trees. Ogallala is pretty much a stop over spot for us so there’s nothing wrong with staying here one or two nights. But I don’t think there’s anything special about t

Overnight stay. As always, KOA has great amenities for their guests. This particular campground is better suited to the overnight stay than a long term stay as it's just off of the highway so you get a lot of road noise. Overall it was a good place to stop.
Aug 14, 2021
The KOA was the nicest we have ever stayed at. The patio site with private dog run was over the top if you have woofers with you. The people were extremely friendly and grounds were immaculate.

Probably two of the nicest husband and wife owner's we've met. She called to confirm reservation and our ETA, planned on being there for our arrival and he took us right to our site and asked if we needed any help. Seemed like a great young couple and the improvements to the park they were making seemed really good. Very level spots with full hookups, dog friendly and good WIFI. Sites were larger than most Journey sites. I80 was very busy, but inside rig, we hardly noticed.
