Our stay was great! We stopped for a night on the way to our destination and on the way back. Camp staff were very friendly/helpful. Nice clean sites, easily accessible. Kiddos enjoy the playground. 2 nice areas for dogs. On our second stay we arrived after 9:30. Night check in was excellent. The location is right off I-80.

A little tight for a big rig. Entry definitely needs to be widened. We managed fine but I foresee others causing damage to your and their property if rookies. And they are flooding the RV community! Staff was excellent!

Nice clean bathrooms and well organized admittance. Limited shade and spaces very close together. Felt it was over priced for the amenities that were offered.

Extremely noisy. The interstate & trains made sleep difficult.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are located right along the I-80 and we do have a train track just north of us about 1/2 mile. If the noise is an issue PLEASE ask for complimentary ear plugs at check-in we would be happy to give you a pair.

Owners are great. Friendly, fast and efficient Expanded campgrounds are gravel. Will be better after a years usage and packing down. Definitely stay there again when going through that area.

Very clean and well kept. Super nice owners and staff. Only downside is that it is a parking lot next to the interstate. We loved the nice spots and ease of getting in and out. Great place for a stopover while traveling.

Hookups and water quality were very good, but property was among the weakest Koa experiences I have had to date. It was right next to interstate. You could hear cars all night long. No trees or vegetation. Good for an overnight stay, but that's it. Don't spend your vacation there!

The people at this KOA were the most friendly and helpful people we have ever had. We stay at KOA,'s all over the country and these were the best. We had truck trouble and they bent over backwards to help us during that time. We would highly recommend this KOA.

Spring and Mel were welcoming and professional. New sewer and electric hookups. Well maintained. Nearby highway was noisy at times, as we expected. Maybe trees and a fence could help. Good location to the Lake, restaurants, sites.

This was the best KOA campground we've stayed at. The owners take pride in it and it shows. It's clean, and they went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here :)

This is a very clean and well run location. The staff was some of the nicest people we have met. We had a pull through with a patio and grill. Dog areas was immaculate and convenient. ONLY downside is the traffic noise and there’s nothing they can do about that�Ϝ. Would stay here again (with ear plugs)

Excellent customer service, clean and professional staff. Our site was terrific with patio, fire pit and new gas grill. The weather was not good, but we had a blast. The owner stopped by to say hello as we were getting ready to leave and what a great guy. Very committed to making this a world class KOA. We will be back for sure.

The office staff was friendly and helpful. Campsites and pet enclosures were kept clean. The only drawback was the noise from the interstate.

Wow! We have stayed at so many KOA‘s across the country and this was one our favorites! The paw-pen site was perfect after a long day of traveling. The landscaping throughout the campground was beautiful! Friendly and helpful staff. Can’t say enough good things about this KOA.

Very clean. Staff is amazingly friendly and always willing to answer any questions. Have stayed here several times and will definitely return. Only thing I wish they had was a pool other than that, it is a great place to stay!

Hosts were friendly, the campground was nothing to brag about, essentially a gravel parking lot, with services. As with most KOA's right along the highway, so easy to get to, but also noisy all night with trucks. Stayed in 5 koa's on our trip, this was not the best one.

We enjoyed our stay at theOgallalaKOA.The staff is so friendly.The park was super kid friendly and though we don't have dogs,we loved the fact that they are pet friendly because our kids LOVE animals and were able to pet a few over the weekend.The weekend was colder than we had hoped,but between being able to ride bikes, play in the mud and play at the park, it turned out to be so great!Recommend!

Great people but the new section needs a lot more gravel. Saying you just had a lot of rain only reveals that you didn't properly grade, compact, put in drainage and have enough gravel in the new sites.

Thank you for staying with us. We have had more than 10 inches of rain in the last 2 weeks. We had proper grading,compacting,drainage,and base put in. With the heavy moisture and usage it hasn't been able to hold up. Even our existing part is struggling. Good news sun and heat in the forecast!

Great please. Very nice folks. We loved our site. Even had its own dog pen for them to do their business. Even though our front tire on our coach sunk into the gravel. It had been raining a lot for a few days. No worries I would highly recommend

Great people run this Campground. Very attentive and nice. They were faced with heavy rains and still helped out campers with whatever they needed.

Very clean. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Clean showers and restrooms. They sanitize every site after people leave. Nice patio sites with tables, chairs and clean grills. If you have a dog they have paw pen sites which are good. There is one restaurant that will deliver italian. It was ok. There is some highway noise but it’s not too bad. I would stay here again. Walmart close by.

The newer sites are bigger and easier to get in and out. We were in s it’s 44 and it was a tight fit but we had a lot of trees to protect us.

Probably two of the nicest husband and wife owner's we've met. She called to confirm reservation and our ETA, planned on being there for our arrival and he took us right to our site and asked if we needed any help. Seemed like a great young couple and the improvements to the park they were making seemed really good. Very level spots with full hookups, dog friendly and good WIFI. Sites were larger than most Journey sites. I80 was very busy, but inside rig, we hardly noticed.
