We were there 4 days and 3 nights. It was an amazing family friendly environment! The only thing I wish was different was the light pole made our tent too bright. I loved the stay and will go back for sure!

We had truck repairs that had the be done. Staff managed to make it much easier when we weren’t sure how long it would take. Excellent experience

This campground was great!! SUPER friendly campground. No firewood available onsite this summer, so pick some up on your way! Wish we knew ahead of time.

I would stay here again. The campground was beautiful and clean. There was a lake nearby but I didn’t have a chance to jump in.

This KOA is just ok. Nothing special or great. It’s 90% seasonal so the weekends become party central. Grounds are very dusty and sites are very tight.

Was a great stay. Loved we could have tent hook up with water and electric. Wish the fishing could've been a little better with the banks but was still good. We had a street light right above our tent so it attracted alot of bugs. We weren't told about the 10% off our stay since we stayed for 5 days but thats ok it was worth it. Other than that we had a great stay.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Obviously the covid issues were messing the natural order of things up a bit as with all other businesses. My spot was perfect for my needs. What a beautiful park with all the huge canopy of trees. Wished I could of stayed a day longer to enjoy the park and walked around to see the place more, but, I was traveling to another job and was on a tight time schedule.

Would like to have stayed longer to enjoy the lake and find out what available there for boating. Have family in Lincoln NE who might enjoy camping at your lot.

Beautiful campground!! Great sites! Very friendly and helpful staff! Easy to get to if you don’t follow your Garmin GPS directions to the campground.

The people in the office are RUDE! Did a family camping trip a couple years ago and Angela was rude then but because it's such a beautiful place I gave it another chance. Angela is still just as rude as well as their maintenance and cleaning guys. I didn't cause any problems either time I stayed. It seems that they are only nice to the people that are regulars. I will not stay there again!

Store is ripoff. Charged me $1.29 for a.20 hose washer. Restrooms closed to people in campers and did not have sewer service available. Very rude

You stayed 1 night, and we have a dump station, you selected a site without sewer at it. We did not force you to make any purchases in the campstore. Restrooms are closed because of pandemic, which is widely advertised on our website that you made your reservation on and in your email confirmation.

Beautiful spot! We were just passing through en route to Badlands. We didn’t get a chance to take advantage of the lake — maybe next time!

Last year we loved our stay. Everyone was courteous and willing to help. That is why we drove to the other side of town to stay there. This year was the total opposite. Rude and it seemed like we were bothering them by staying.

Campground was clean. Office staff was friendly. This is a very quiet campground located on a lake. There is a park just on the other side of the lake with many things to do ie swimming, boating, etc.

This is the best looking most peaceful KOA campground I’ve ever been to. So Beautiful and the lake is pretty nice too! ;-) I would swing a few hundred miles out of my way to go back there in the future.

My only complaint was the one of the owners said at night we can put a mat out as long as we pick it up before we go in for the night. The other owner came around and said we couldn’t do that.

Clean area nice lake only thing I wish they had was a beach to use on that side of the lake rather than go to the state park side

My husband and I stayed here for the first time in July 2021. We have been back multiple times since! I was worried after reading some reviews as people were complaining about strict rules. We didn't find it strict at all. Everyone we dealt with went out of their way to be helpful. I tend to ask a lot of questions but never once was I shut down or felt like I was a bother. The lake is beautiful and reminds us of much longer trips we used to take to Minnesota. Campground very well cared for, cleanest restrooms we have ever seen/used at a KOA. The pool was kept perfectly clean and was so enjoyable. The RV spaces are very well spaced out, beautiful shade trees for my hubby who can't do the sun! Both sets of my kids and grandkids came out and had the best time! New dog park for my furkids and wonderful new playground for kids. This was an amazing place, and we hope to be going here for years. Thank you.

Typically, we don't stay in KOAs: we camp in the back of our pickup, with two mattresses in the bed and we don't need hookups or electricity. But since Lewis and Clark State Park campground on the other side of the lake books up very early for the summer season, we ended up reserving a tent site at this KOA. Our stay was pleasant enough. The site was right on the lake, with other simple campers (a family in a tent trailer) right next to us. No problems with rowdy behavior or noise. Restroom facilities (toilets, sinks, showers) were clean and well maintained. There were lots of huge RVs in the other parts of the campground, crammed in very close together. We were glad to have reserved a tent site.
