We had a great lot and the restrooms were especially nice. We didn't do a couple of things right such as having a guest not check in and he parked his motorcycle in the wrong spot and we were scolded. We didn't understand where to park our boat and again was scolded. Our guests were offended how we were treated. Met some nice people but won't stay again due to the rude behavior of the owners.

All of the people working at the campground were super nice and helpful. The restrooms/showers were very clean and well kept. Loved all the shade trees too!!

Beautiful campground. Very friendly staff. Little on the pricey side for me, but this year with few other options, price is livable. Enjoyed it all.

Be ready for a relaxing stay! Campground is quiet, and the people who run this campground are so kind! We had a spot by the lake, and very much enjoyed sitting by the water and enjoying the quiet. We will definitely be returning!

We love the cabin and the bathrooms but the female Owner is very very very rude had a friend try to come visit and she was so rude he did not visit we paid 225 for 3 days and could not enjoy any Amenities like swimming pool but the owners kids swam in it not right and charging visitors 3 dollars is wrong Music play late into night I feel that with all that happen a Refund or credit be giving

When you made your reservation you agreed to the rules and the conditions they stated that many of the amenities were closed including the pool. Perhaps you should have walked up to the pool to see that he was scrubbing not swimming the pool. Guests must check in at the office and pay the visitor fee he left after yelling at my young employee because he didn't want to pay. Follow posted rules.

I was glad that it we had a full hookup site. But we arrived after hours and I tired calling the phone number listed at the front several times but could not get a hold of anyone. I had to chase down a gentleman helping other campers out. The whole KOA could be updated, especially the "swimming" dock. Very unsturdy. Also should have sign posted about rocks in the water off the dock area.

Sorry we missed your call. We were helping other campers. The rocks are visible all along the shoreline, the lake is not ours, it is part of a state park.

We have always enjoyed coming to your KOA Onawa/Blue Lake. We come at least once a year and have been for the past 17 years.

Site 75 was absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed it tremendously. The lake view was worth every penny. However roads were somewhat rutted, and many sites had standing water the day after heavy rains. This CG could use a little work freshening up the majority of the sites, and it would get a 5 star rating.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed at this KOA. We loved it ! Clean, spacious lots. Very friendly staff ! And we booked 2 more stays.

Over all the stay is a good time but the pool and parks and amenities are all closed due to the virus. Should have been some kinda discount. But at least we was able to camp.

Camper pad was grass which turned to mud after rain. We couldn’t sit by the fire pit because of the dirt/mud This was the worst campground we have ever stayed at. Will not recommend it to anyone. Only nice part was the lake. For the cost of your spots i did not expect grass. Would like a refund for Sunday but was told NO refund. I will be staying across the river at Lewis and Clark.

Felt like we were intruders. Kept our distance from everyone. We did appreciate the upgrade on our spot. But no one likes to get yelled at about being on side walks or walking on pavement there were no signs up or caution signs in the area. We understand that no one was allowed to visit, but when a family member shows up and surprises you. You should be kinder in the way you tell them no visitors

We are sorry that your visitor did not understand that there were no guests allowed at sites and decided to take it out on one of our employees. The side walk incident was discussed among all employees and none of our employees were involved in the incident. There is a pandemic going on, so not sure

very accommodating and clean. everyone is friendly and grounds are well kept. the owners always make sure there are things to do for all ages on holidays. parades and get togethers for karaoke and watermelon feeds with games for kids and adults. love it there and wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

The sites are always clean and the staff goes out of their way to help. The bathrooms are very clean and the pool is very clean with plenty of chairs and tables. We love this KOA!

We loved this place. So quiet and peaceful, beautiful spot. We were lucky enough to camp right beside the lake.We really wished we could have stayed another day. The KOA is very clean.

I’ve been going there for 3 yrs. I love it there. It’s clean, quiet, affordable and everyone is friendly. I enjoy kayaking and fishing on the lake. It’s a great place for children also.

Great Campground!! Quiet & Quaint. Family friendly atmosphere!! Accommodations such as RR, Laundry room and pool immaculate. Wide variety of activities available. Shady sites. Lake activities abundant. Staff and owners very friendly and gracious. You won’t want to leave once you arrive. ��������

Simple overnight. Checkin was done via late night box due to limited office hours late in the season. Sight was easy to access and level. Plenty of space for walking our dog. Worked for us!

Very disappointed, would not recommend due to service by the host. Highly unprofessional. Drive on to either Omaha West KOA or Sioux City /Falls KOA. Or if you want to camp on Blue Lake, there is a State Park campground.

While I was surprised that the cabin did not have a little space heater (I’ve stayed at 4 or 5 other KOA Kabins, all with heaters), I didn’t think it would matter to us. Unfortunately, due to my wife coming down with something- she got sick, and the lack of sleep due to the thunderstorms that went throughout the night, we had to leave early the next day. Maybe next year.

If there was a problem with your site you could of asked to move while you were here rather than a review. The price should have not been a surprise you were told the price when you made the reservation and with your email confirmation.

My husband and I stayed here for the first time in July 2021. We have been back multiple times since! I was worried after reading some reviews as people were complaining about strict rules. We didn't find it strict at all. Everyone we dealt with went out of their way to be helpful. I tend to ask a lot of questions but never once was I shut down or felt like I was a bother. The lake is beautiful and reminds us of much longer trips we used to take to Minnesota. Campground very well cared for, cleanest restrooms we have ever seen/used at a KOA. The pool was kept perfectly clean and was so enjoyable. The RV spaces are very well spaced out, beautiful shade trees for my hubby who can't do the sun! Both sets of my kids and grandkids came out and had the best time! New dog park for my furkids and wonderful new playground for kids. This was an amazing place, and we hope to be going here for years. Thank you.

Typically, we don't stay in KOAs: we camp in the back of our pickup, with two mattresses in the bed and we don't need hookups or electricity. But since Lewis and Clark State Park campground on the other side of the lake books up very early for the summer season, we ended up reserving a tent site at this KOA. Our stay was pleasant enough. The site was right on the lake, with other simple campers (a family in a tent trailer) right next to us. No problems with rowdy behavior or noise. Restroom facilities (toilets, sinks, showers) were clean and well maintained. There were lots of huge RVs in the other parts of the campground, crammed in very close together. We were glad to have reserved a tent site.
