Very well maintained clean campground but the sites are very close to each other. They really planned a great time for kids though, Our 2 'grands', participated in their 4th of July parade at which they handed out hats, leis, etc. After that was game time and they came back with another haul of 'kid stuff' ... pencils, tattoos, fans, beads etc. Fri. night was playtime in the foam machine ...

Really need to improve the Wi-Fi!!!

Our wifi is for checking emails only, which is explained at check-in. If you were having troubles one of our staff would have been more than happy to help you.

Someone came and stole our food and drinks from our cooler and staff threatened to tow our truck because it was parked crooked in the boat area.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Your boat was parked in a farmers field our employee informed you that the farmer would have your boat towed if you left it there. We were just trying to give you a heads up. As far as you food being stolen, this is the first we have heard of anything about this.

We came in late and the reservation was waiting for us. The grounds were very pretty and well kept. The showers were clean. The staff very nice. Good place.

after a long day of riding in the heat I needed a place to camp, they put me up on a nice shady place. Campground more than met my expectation, very well kept up and clean

Great Campground, the staff are so good there, and seem to be always positive and happy to help and to assist with any questions we have. The park is very well maintained, and restrooms and showers are very clean and fresh. We come here every year, and always enjoy our stay.

What a beautiful and quiet place to stay. The owners were delightful, friendly and accommodating. Restrooms were clean as was the entire park. It is a tree filled oasis. Wish it were closer to us.

Check in was easy. The lake is beautiful but unfortunately you can’t see it from your site because it’s blocked by all the permanent campers. The only place we could see the lake turned out to be a yard belonging to a house at the end. They were not happy that we were in their yard. The sites are extremely close together. Overall it was very quiet as we were the only actual campers at our end

The site you paid for was the site you reserved, the shore line is open in many areas of the campground. If you wanted to upgrade you site you should have asked to be closer to the water. Again complaining after your stay in a review about something that could have been changed while you were camping.

Disappointed, the sites are so tight. Our sewer drain was about 1 foot away from our neighbor's outdoor kitchen.

If you wanted more area we have larger sites available, you should have requested an upgrade while you were camping with us.

Delightful family campground, lots of grass and trees. It is nestled into a spot between farm fields and a small lake. Lots of families there enjoying the games and pool. Very relaxing 2 nights there.

We only stayed one night on a stop over, but it was a great KOA. Jennifer, the wonderful receptionist, was one of the nicest we have ever encountered. Yes, she does look like Jennifer Jason Leigh!

We enjoy this KOA. We have stayed here twice. The owners are very involved and nice people and the grounds and bathrooms are kept clean. The site we stayed at this particular visit was a bit tight. I'm not a fan of the 11am check out time, seems a bit early considering the check in time is 3pm. The quiet hours don't seem to be totally enforced as the first night had a couple of louder campers.

We had a very nice stay. My husband LOVED that someone showed us to our spot and helped him get pulled in correctly. I was happy that my husband didn't want me to do it. On our 2nd night there, they had a free hot dog, beans, and chips dinner. We appreciated it and met a new couple. We plan on returning.

Left note that needed LP gas. No one contacted me. Lots of bugs. Next time will stay in Lewis and Clark State Park. Cheaper, nicer sites, manicured better.

Where was the note left? Did you contact anyone in the office? Our sites are well taken care of and well manicured your comment is without merit AND when you compare campgrounds make sure you compare apples to apples. Happy Camping!

folks are very nice and helpful but the pads need to be flater.I have auto levels and my ridht side tires were off the ground by a foot. But a good park thanks

We enjoyed our one night. Blue Lake is beautiful. The campground has many trees and shaded areas. We will be returning for another one night on our way home.

My husband and I stayed here for the first time in July 2021. We have been back multiple times since! I was worried after reading some reviews as people were complaining about strict rules. We didn't find it strict at all. Everyone we dealt with went out of their way to be helpful. I tend to ask a lot of questions but never once was I shut down or felt like I was a bother. The lake is beautiful and reminds us of much longer trips we used to take to Minnesota. Campground very well cared for, cleanest restrooms we have ever seen/used at a KOA. The pool was kept perfectly clean and was so enjoyable. The RV spaces are very well spaced out, beautiful shade trees for my hubby who can't do the sun! Both sets of my kids and grandkids came out and had the best time! New dog park for my furkids and wonderful new playground for kids. This was an amazing place, and we hope to be going here for years. Thank you.

Typically, we don't stay in KOAs: we camp in the back of our pickup, with two mattresses in the bed and we don't need hookups or electricity. But since Lewis and Clark State Park campground on the other side of the lake books up very early for the summer season, we ended up reserving a tent site at this KOA. Our stay was pleasant enough. The site was right on the lake, with other simple campers (a family in a tent trailer) right next to us. No problems with rowdy behavior or noise. Restroom facilities (toilets, sinks, showers) were clean and well maintained. There were lots of huge RVs in the other parts of the campground, crammed in very close together. We were glad to have reserved a tent site.
