Pretty setting, friendly staff. We were only passing through, but sites were level and not too tightly packed and it was convenient but not too close to highway. Would stay again.

We where just there for stop overs on our way to and from South Dakota. Both times, great spot, with friendly and helpful staff.

The only thing I wonder about is if all the sites are 30/50 amp now. We only needed 30, and I wonder if the increase in price was because we had 50 amp availability. The campground itself was clean and very nice, as always. We have stopped there every fall for about 10 years.

Only there for a quick overnight. Came in after dark but everything we needed was in the night box. Would like to go back and explore more!

really, really nice. check in was easy and smooth. Had an issue when we were trying to break down and someone from the office came out with some tools and was able to take care of things. Very, very quiet. very, very clean. It was pretty full, but there's plenty of space between spots that it's no big deal. This is a great place to visit.

The water was brown and had a terrible smell. Campground was quiet and clean. Bathrooms were very clean.

Sites are close together. Nice lake and forest in corn fields. Confusing intersection with highway.

Friendly people. Very clean park. Pull through site was big enough for our 60 foot rig. If you use Garmin headed north bound it will send you about 12 miles out of your way ... take Exit 112 and you're right there.

This was our first KOA stay. The campground was clean, meaning both the grounds and the facilities. Everyone was so friendly! They even served a pancake breakfast one morning �

Stayed overnight but would love to stay longer next time I’m in the area. Very lovey site. Staff is courteous. Bathrooms (men) is one of the best so far.

We didn't originally plan to stay here but it was late afternoon and we decided we were ready to stop. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. It's a beautiful spot and far enough off the interstate to be quiet!!

Super friendly and helpful! We didn’t arrive until after 10:00 pm and the park owner came out and guided us to our campsite. We were very thankful for his help! We’ve stayed here two other times and have been pleased every trip!

wonderful weekend at the cabins with family been years since we had stayed there cabins were clean and comfy and office very accommodating right on the lake and fishing was a plus some big ones in there like a 8 pound catfish a tv would be a plus for us who like news very quiet even tho the place was full

Staff was great. Just wish they weren’t so protective of their new swing set. An adult sitting on a swing isn’t gonna hurt anything. Just because you have a sign that say 5-12 yr olds, doesn’t mean you need to scold adults for sitting on it with their 4 and 2 year old boys when no other kids are around. We weren’t even swinging.

When arriving after dark there are not enough illuminated or reflective signs and it is very hard to see the roads.

Although we were only there one night it was easy in and easy out and the KOA was beautiful and QUIET. This KOA is highly recommended based totally on the peace and tranquility.

we enjoyed our overnight stay. quiet and lovely mid-week stay on our return from montana, almost home, but glad we got to ‘re-group’ here. we will see you again, beautiful lake! ALOT of rules to follow, but we’ll know more next time! THANKS����

Nice park overall. Sites close together (but thats everywhere). We got in about 1pm, I was met with "well check in isn't until 3! We dont like to drive more than 21/2 or so hours so we often get in to the next place. Very rarely am I made to feel bad for doing it. And honestly what has to be done to the site? Clean it? Really nothing to clean, sweep on the dirt maybe?

Very quiet and laid-back campground, off the main highway far enough that you can actually hear the crickets chirping at night. We were only there one night and I wish we could have hung out longer.

Quick overnight stay. Used pool and laundry facilities. Nice view of river. Good Wifi. Site was slightly unlevel, so had to use blocks under wheel.

My husband and I stayed here for the first time in July 2021. We have been back multiple times since! I was worried after reading some reviews as people were complaining about strict rules. We didn't find it strict at all. Everyone we dealt with went out of their way to be helpful. I tend to ask a lot of questions but never once was I shut down or felt like I was a bother. The lake is beautiful and reminds us of much longer trips we used to take to Minnesota. Campground very well cared for, cleanest restrooms we have ever seen/used at a KOA. The pool was kept perfectly clean and was so enjoyable. The RV spaces are very well spaced out, beautiful shade trees for my hubby who can't do the sun! Both sets of my kids and grandkids came out and had the best time! New dog park for my furkids and wonderful new playground for kids. This was an amazing place, and we hope to be going here for years. Thank you.

Typically, we don't stay in KOAs: we camp in the back of our pickup, with two mattresses in the bed and we don't need hookups or electricity. But since Lewis and Clark State Park campground on the other side of the lake books up very early for the summer season, we ended up reserving a tent site at this KOA. Our stay was pleasant enough. The site was right on the lake, with other simple campers (a family in a tent trailer) right next to us. No problems with rowdy behavior or noise. Restroom facilities (toilets, sinks, showers) were clean and well maintained. There were lots of huge RVs in the other parts of the campground, crammed in very close together. We were glad to have reserved a tent site.
