Nice shaded park. Pool was shaded & very cold w/no lounge chairs. The lake was beautiful & has 2 docks for fishing. Unfortunately we didn't realize all the prime spots along the lake are taken up by full time RV'ERS which explains why we couldn't get a patio spot. They have a nice playground but no bounce pad. Disappointed there was no dog run or cable. These are things I expect w/a Holiday KOA

Wonderfully quiet compared to other KOAs next to highways! Nice setting. Only disappointed that pandemic closed the restrooms.

Excellent 2 day peaceful rest here and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful view of the lake. This was a good spot to just get caught up on rest and laundry.

The people in the office are RUDE! Did a family camping trip a couple years ago and * was rude then but because it's such a beautiful place I gave it another chance. * is still just as rude as well as their maintenance and cleaning guys. I didn't cause any problems either time I stayed. It seems that they are only nice to the people that are regulars. I will not stay there a

I had a pleasant stay here. The staff were nice and the laundry room and bathrooms were clean. Views from the lake cabin were beautiful. I appreciate the safeguards they had in place for Covid-19.

We absolutely loved this place. We are planning on returning next year and staying a couple of days. Nice size spaces, the lake...what’s not to like!

Nice, clean campgrounds and facilities. We reserved sites for the lengths of our campers but the sites were too small for both the campers and trucks. Yet, the apparent owner didn't want parking on the grass either. Fortunately there were many open sites to park in. Not sure what people would do if the campgrounds were full. There was a great view of the lake.

Beautiful campsite and enjoyed the lake. With self contained units only they really need to upgrade the WiFi. Reminds me of dial up modems. Could have stayed at the state park for half the price.

Enjoyed our stay. Our 5 days just flew by. Pretty scenery, nice staff, and even though it was almost full, it was very quiet and peaceful.

i would think that the tent site right under the security light would be the last to be filled not the first! all night I could read a book inside my tent. Nice shower facilities.

What a beautiful location! The peaceful and natural surroundings were just what we needed after a long day of travel! The staff was friendly and helpful in directing us to our site. I wish we lived close enough to visit often! Thanks again.

Great one night stay. Wish we could have stayed longer but traveling home. Only issue we had was no firewood :( but another camper with a semi-permanent setup had a lot and gave us some of his. Can't beat the hospitality of locals at this camp ground.

Just an overnight to test out our new camper. Office staff SO friendly & helpful! Peaceful, clean campground. Friendly helpful neighbors. Wish we had more time there. Will return! Only down side was the one way roads. Luckily there was an open pull thru lot a couple sites over from us or we wouldn't have been able to leave with our vehicle & get back to our site. Exit was blocked at check out

It was noisy . It was cramped and dusty.Getting in and out of the camp ground was very tight drive ways were narrow

Other reviews state how quiet our park is, we are in a drought. Campers have no problems with people getting in and out. Is this review for our park?

The staff was the Best they even hooked up a air line so we could put air in our Harleys for our trip to Sturgis. The restrooms and camp sites were very clean we look forward to coming back for many years.

We had just heard that our 4th grandchild was born at noon that day. We were so excited that we hardly had time to sleep let alone enjoy the fine campground. We were a little disappointed that the showers were closed{?} but we had plenty of hot water in the RV. A beautiful location on the edge of the lake. Our new granddaughter was waiting for us near Mankato so we left early Friday morning.

We really enjoy staying at KOA/ Blue lake. It is a nice clean relaxing place. Kelly & Angela are always right there to help if needed just visit. This was our 4th visit this summer. �

Loved how convenient the campground was in proximity to the lake. One thing that would increase the convenience would be if there was a slip on the KOA side to put our boat in the water. We drove to the state park side and used that slip which worked fine but it would have been even more fantastic to have a slip on the KOA side.

My husband and I stayed here for the first time in July 2021. We have been back multiple times since! I was worried after reading some reviews as people were complaining about strict rules. We didn't find it strict at all. Everyone we dealt with went out of their way to be helpful. I tend to ask a lot of questions but never once was I shut down or felt like I was a bother. The lake is beautiful and reminds us of much longer trips we used to take to Minnesota. Campground very well cared for, cleanest restrooms we have ever seen/used at a KOA. The pool was kept perfectly clean and was so enjoyable. The RV spaces are very well spaced out, beautiful shade trees for my hubby who can't do the sun! Both sets of my kids and grandkids came out and had the best time! New dog park for my furkids and wonderful new playground for kids. This was an amazing place, and we hope to be going here for years. Thank you.

Typically, we don't stay in KOAs: we camp in the back of our pickup, with two mattresses in the bed and we don't need hookups or electricity. But since Lewis and Clark State Park campground on the other side of the lake books up very early for the summer season, we ended up reserving a tent site at this KOA. Our stay was pleasant enough. The site was right on the lake, with other simple campers (a family in a tent trailer) right next to us. No problems with rowdy behavior or noise. Restroom facilities (toilets, sinks, showers) were clean and well maintained. There were lots of huge RVs in the other parts of the campground, crammed in very close together. We were glad to have reserved a tent site.
